Destroy The Series:

In Brief:
Destroy The Series is a basic match three game with only three minutes of game play.

The Game:
Destroy The Series opens in a small window (you could open six versions on a 27 '' monitor). The main menu includes Play, High Score Table and Exit, however, the Hight Score Table takes you to a browser page that you cannot reach. This was supposed to be a global high score table where you could compare your best score with other people who played the game.

Starting the game via the play button (select with the arrow keys, then press enter) opens a brief description (see images 2 & 3 ). To start the game once you've read the description, press the Esc key. When three minutes have passed a small window appears on the game table where you enter your name. This would have then been uploaded to the high score table, but sadly it appears to no longer exists.

Replaying it without closing the game will display the highest score you managed; however, once you close the game, on restart it, your high score record is lost.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 63 antimalware engines. You can see the scan HERE.

Various issues with this game.
1) no way to turn off of music.
2) screen too small and cannot be enlarged.
3) a bit laggy.

Jan, Toomky Games and Also iWIN have some real decent Match 3 games you can play for free. In the case of iWin, the ads do appear in game when you play but otherwise the full versions. Here is a link to iWin: https://www.iwin.com/categories/games/free

You need to install their download manager and create a user account.

In theory, this is a very basic barebones as it can get Match 3 game which has the gameplay mechanics of Bejeweled . When swapping the pieces, chain reaction combos happen and it gives you even more points.

Although very basic, the game does have some nice particle screen effects when combos are achieved and the sound track on the game is actually decent and relaxing to listen to which is a plus.

The only drawback with this game is that the high score server does not work, takes me to a page that is defunct and also there is no full screen on this title. It would also be nice to have customizable backgrounds, game options and piece sets on the screen.

If Match 3 games are your fancy you can look at the Legacy Games website for packs of them which are regularly on sale and also look to Arkadium which is a site like Pogo and has some excellent free to play in the browser match 3 games although there is quite a bit of advertising on the sites unless you sign up and become a member.

Overall this game is a very decent time waster if you're looking to play something in a hurry but otherwise there is no real depth in game play to this title and you may move onto something else engaging.
