GREAT GAME!! :-)

This is a pretty fun game. It is very similar to the game Pizza Frenzy. I'm not sure whether it's a clone of that game or maybe an earlier version of it. It's basic format is very similar to that game. You try to deliver the right type of food to the correct customers. Unlike Pizza Frenzy I can't find a feature yet where you can choose which foods you want to use. There are customers along the way that will help you earn more money or hinder you a little by causing others to change their orders at random. There are power-ups you ups you gain access to purchasing as the game goes along to slow things down, speed up your vehicle or even reset the orders.

Basically, if you liked Pizza Frenzy you'll like this game too. I found it fun and a way to kill some time when bored.

Well if you are about 9 years old then this could be a fun game. I played all of about 5 minutes of it. No challenge just tedium.

Even for a game that is free it bites!

I found on montezuma that gettin those power ups is a task but i did find that when i click on three a totem will come up and if you click on the color it is showing you will get the power ups and yes the gold ones is the best by far but the green one is awesome too it takes all the gems off the screen at that time for ya:) Thank you sandy and i have made it to 3-4 or 5 not sure which:) lol and i did that all today:)

LOL @ #50. No, #47 didn't do it backwards because there is no backwards. The activation process works the same whether you install the game before activating or after. Try doing to "backwards" next time to see for yourself :)

You're doing it backwards. You should run the setup first and *then* the activation.

lol bluhoteyes comment #41. I've been stuck on level 2-4 or ages, altough I started playing it on another computer as well. I needed a couple more seconds yesterday to beat the level, but failed. I did discover that the power ups don't necessarily come in the same order each time you play the ame from the start; especially the totems. I found the gold one a very useful pne as it turns the time back 1 minute at a time. I'm certainly hooked on this one more than a lot of others I've played recently, and its getting more play time than Luxor 3 at the moment. :)

As for being pathetic; no way. This is a hard game to beat, which is one of the reasons I'm enjoying it. (apart from the excellent graphics and multitude of power ups. I'm only playing it on medium as well. What the hard level is like I haven't a clue. I presume the time you get to complete a level is less. As for you Tamarra, good going. I'm only dreaming of getting to level 3-2 still, lol....

cjc321 comment #43, are you clicking on the activate icon first? You must click on this and wait till it says successfully activated before installing the game, otherwise it will show as a demo only.

I'd uninstall the game then activate it first. You didn't give any details of what you were doing, so I can only surmise that this is what you are doing. good luck on activating it. :)

I'm only getting a Demo, not the full version. I downloaded, ran the activation first, then setup. I've done this twice now and still only getting demo version, not registered. Any help would be great. Thanks for all the great games GGaoTD.

Sounds alot like pizza frenzy,my son should love it.

Nice game, nice story, but not really hard to finish. Losing a level is harder than play over the whole game. (And wouldn't really take less time)

hey whiterabbit how far have you gotten on montezuma ? I had given up but after reading your review today decided to go back and redo and have successfully made it past level 2 :) Lol i know pathetic but thought it was just a 3 match game and didn't do any of the reading it is a awesome game now that i know what i am doing wooooooohooooooooo addicted like you are:)

This isn't fun for people who already deliver food to ignorant lazy no-tippers in real life. But I do appreciate the guy who has time during his five cups of coffee in the morning to give us the full low down on a game that can be beat in half the time he puts the comment together. Nice little game, a little boring but not a bad game overall. I played the first couple of levels and started losing interest. I will save this one for those days when I just want to kill 30 minutes. Thanks Alawar and GGAOTD!!

This game sucks. I got to level 5 then lost the patience to play it. There is no action at all, and all you do is deliver fries and donuts to fat people around a neighborhood.

Thanks for the game. I haven't played it yet but the comments are interesting. Each to their own I guess. I'm just happy to have it.

This was given away originally over on the giveaway site last November, and is one of many management games that have been released over the past couple of years For example: Dinner Dash, Lemonade Tycoon, Cake Mania and Alice Green Fingers as well as a few more mentioned later to name but a few . The program description goes

There are no difficulty settings for this game, so prepare yourself for a fast and furious ride around this imaginary town in a top down view. The options menu contains music and sound sliders and a window toggle and the help menu contains four pages of useful information. There are read me and help documents (html) in the games folder, but these are useless IMO. Delivering several identical orders in succession earns you extra cash, allowing you to purchase power-ups that will boost your speed or increase the patience of your customers. You can also take advantage of a special customer who will deliver all of the current orders of a particular item for you. Earning special delivery items enables you to have two vehicles running at the same time, but ensure that they don’t block each others way, otherwise your bonuses for the end of that level may be jeopardised and you may even lose the game as there are no lives to spend. I lost the second level the first time around because I was too slow at delivering the orders. As you progress through the game you will be introduced to new characters who generally are good to meet as they will help you in specific ways for example the patron and the business magnate pay you extra for your food while the cook will serve all those on the route with the same order as he (or she) has, whereas the chef will serve all the orders. There’s also the TV anchor and the superstar with their own bonus attributes that I’ll let you discover for yourselves. Thankfully there are only two negative characters, the thief and the hooligan that will steal your earnings and disrupt your service if you serve them. This is easily overlooked during the rush of the delivery, so watch out. You can earn more money by reporting these characters to the police.
There are a number of bonus games which include shooting down flying saucers and the one where you steer your way through insane rush hour traffic. Although it was hardly insane the first time I encountered it. Completing these successfully earns more money and bonuses’s such as the vehicle speed up, time delay, time reset and supply all. Once these bonuses become available you will have the opportunity to use them on any level thereafter, however you do have to purchase their use. Once purchased an icon representing each bonus you’ve purchased sits on the top left of the playing screen. To activate the bonus you must click on it. If you don’t get the opportunity to use the bonus it will be carried through to the next level and the next etc until you decide to use it. Once it’s been used you have to purchase it again to be able to use it again. The supply all bonus should be used with caution though as this can lose you the extra bonuses you can earn by utilizing the characters that you come across in game, or the bonus you can earn by delivering the same item to as many customers as possible without changing to another order type. Watch out though as this can lead to you losing the game if one of your customers who have been waiting for another type of order than the one you’ve been trying to get extra bonuses for. The speed up bonus or the freeze time are very useful if you have a large number of deliveries to make, and really come in useful when you have the hoodlum or the thief to contend with as well because they will disrupt your train of thought while playing the game. If you fail to keep up with your deliveries, that is one of your customers patience runs out (indicated by the stars rating below the avatar of the customer); that’s it. You’ve finished the game, or at least that round, You’ll know when this happens because the end of level Daily report will have a red entry in the total receipts and the level rating and you will be taken to the high scores list.

There is no save button, but the game is automatically saved every six levels. This is indicated on the levels map.

You will see that there are several different areas of the town you deliver to, these are denoted by having different coloured backgrounds. I would have liked to explore the game further, if only to post an extensive album of screen captures but having overslept four hours I thought seven levels would suffice to get an overall impression of the game. I only touched the surface of the game with respect to meeting the positive characters and earning bonuses. But that doesn’t mean to imply that there is a lot of depth to this game because I don\t think there is. After Googling for images though; apart from the bonuses and characters mentioned in this review, I don’t think there is much more to the game? However I don’t usually play this genre much apart from the games I’ve mentioned, which were bought for my daughter who loves this type of game.

I checked out the internet for other views on this game but found very little. I think there has been an overload of these sorts of games recently and to be honest despite this game only being just over a year old (released summer 2006) the newer ones such as Sally’s Salon and Fashion Craze, or if you prefer a food based one Stand o Food or Burger Shop are much better due in part to the improvement in graphics and better bonuses. This game is in some ways comparable to games like Lemonade and Ice Cream Tycoon, having to rush around a town like map, but I would put those games on a higher pedestal. That said, this game is still fun to play and can be quite challenging. For the young ones it may be a little too fast, but should be an ideal tool for 6 to 8 year olds to practice their mouse skills and thinking processes.

My final verdict on the game is 6 out of 10. I personally quite enjoyed playing it while writing this simple review, but I doubt I’ll return to it often, especially with more captivating games being offered such as the recently given away Treasures of Montezuma, which I haven’t been able to stop playing in between writing these reviews and playing my recently acquired games.

To Alawar, you do mention in your sales pitch that upgrades may become available. If you are planning to follow that statement through I would suggest that you add a few more options to the game menu such as a save facility, so that you can save the game at the end of every level, or even better change the auto settings so that they will do it for you. I think there should be a lot more characters available as well as loads more bonus items. With these changes and maybe some better bonus games (I think the saucer game was poorly done. At least with the delivery bonus you were taken to a different screen. There should also be the usually common difficulty settings, i.e. Easy, Normal, and Hard, or more appropriately for this game, Slow, Medium and Fast. And even a manic setting.

The graphics could do with an overhaul as well, though that isn’t the most important of improvements as IMO the game play is what makes a game playable (obviously)

I don't normally comment on this site, but I'm sure this game has been offered before... a VERY long time ago, maybe. Like many have said, it's fun for a little while. I had uninstalled it long ago, but I'll definitely install it again, just for a couple of days.

When i first looked at the screenshots and so, i thought it would suck hard. When i started playing i completely changed my mind ^^ Its awesome! Graphics are good for this kind of game, the music is good and the gameplay is great. Well worth the download!

OK for the younger kids. You either click on a picture of donuts or fries and then click on a house that has that picture. After a few minutes there was really no challenge except to beat the clock. I've deleted it. Thank you for sharing it.. Alawar games are always pretty good!

This is the second game this week that I cannot activate, get an error message saying "Fatal error: key is invalid" What's going on?

Activated, then installed. Only to get just the 30 minute free trial, and not the rest of the game. A second attempt at activating and then installing received the same results.

Quick Review:

Installing the game was quick and easy. However the game was quite boring. All your doing is clicking back and forth. Noting really hard.

In the game you’re a delivery driver that basically sends food/drinks to you customers. If a customer wants some fries then you click on the picture of fries and send it to the costumer. If you do well at a level then you get to go into a bonus round where you can earn extra money by clicking on the moving UFOs.


Scoring:

Gameplay: 4/10 - A really boring game where you just click back and forth.

Graphics: 6/10 - Decent graphics.

Music: 3/10 - No good music at all.

Loading Time: 8/10 - Loads pretty fast on my computer.

Overall: 5.2/10


Everyone has their own taste of games so if this sounds like fun, then give it a try.

Cute Pizza Frenzy clone. The minigame is giving me motion sickness though!

Fairly good game: Good graphics, ok game play. A bit repetitive, I believe that young people aged 8 – 14 would enjoy this. You might give the players a choice of changing the ‘van’ and the background music. The ‘boost’ function was a bit useless for me.

It's not bad, but hardly something to keep anyone interested hours, let alone days, on end. So no replay value.

Thanks for the offer but not something to really entertain anyone for a long period of time if one has experience with games that have a real scope to them.
