Not had time to play today's game at all yet, so will probably not post more than a few images videos and the introduction to the game. I do apologize. Just had to much to sort at home.

I've also not updated the Weekly roundup of Game deals thread over in the forums., but all of the links will take you to the latest deals. If todays game doesn't appeal, there are literally hundreds of indie games and arcade games on sale at various bundle stores as well as on Steam and other game distributors. for example:

Check the following bundles out. Three bundles with a total of 28 different Hidden Object Games (some of which we've seen here at the Gamegiveaway project before). Also check out the other 50 plus indie bundles via the Weekly Round-Up of Game Deals thread for more amazing deals. There's so much to choose from, if today's game didn't grab your attention some of those on sale or in bundles.

Does not work, won't install for me.

Hi Leo, Did you try to install the game after the giveaway period was over? I noticed this comment was posted on Monday 28th at 16 05m which was after the game giveaway ended. You can only install games between the 24 hours the game is live. Because the time stamp I see is from my time frame it may be that you are living in a different time zone, but even if you are I think you may have literally just missed the end of the giveaway by 5 minutes. Before the changes occurred over on the main site several months ago, we used to get an hours grace period so long as you'd downloaded the game before the 24 hour period was up, but that no longer applies; i.e. if you download just before the giveaway ends you can no longer install after the 24 hour period is over, whereas previously you could install it up to 25 hours after the giveaway started. If you were still within the 24 hour giveaway period (I only see the UK time stamp) Check the event logs immediately after trying to install the game to see if there are any clues as to why the game won't install.

I already own this game. I bought it from Gamehouse or Big Fish when it was released. If you like the Emily line, then it is a must have. If you are new to Emily, this is a great one to start with. It is a TMG that is a little different from Dash games. You make the food and deliver the food. You also clean the tables, but later in levels you get assistants for cleaning the tables. It also has a great story line, as all Emily games do. I would give it a 9 out of 10.

My second round of tries to install. I now see it says to follow instructions in the Read Me, which says "run Delicious - Emily's New Beginning [Premium Edition].exe from the installation folder". There is no such file in the folder. Only the Read Me, the activation key and the .gcd file.

Still activates every time, but no attempt to install. :(

You have to install the game first via the orange key file called setup.exe. That installs the game to the following path

C:\Games\DeliciousEmilysNewBeginningDeluxe_Game

Once installed you then have to create a shortcut by opening up the installed folder that can be found by following the above path.

Once opened you will see the following files:

ignore the path shown in the image, I install my games to a different (J) hard drive to the main C drive

create a shortcut from the file labelled DeliciousEmilysNewBeginningDeluxe_Game.exe. The game should be good to go from there. If you cannot find the installed game, make sure the path is correct when you start the installation process. sometimes I've found the previous giveaways path shows up and the game could then install inside the previous games folder. This is caused by a corrupted cookie. To cure it you need to clear out your internet cache. Try reinstalling the game and make sure the installation path is as quoted above. If it is and you still can't find the game, check the FAQ's thread that I've linked to below

Thanks so much GOTD !!
I've been playing the Delicious series and was just about to buy this one.
Now i've got it for free - feels like getting an unexpected present :-)
It downloaded, installed and plays well on W10 64 bit - no problems at all.

I can understand why you're so tired White rabbit - all those Easter eggs to deliver. hehe ..... hope you have a better week coming up Stephen

Great to see another major causal game designer on board, this game is real quality by all standards always liked stuff that GameHouse did and even go back to the old days of the service RealArcade.

Surprise! The free game showed up on the main GOTD homepage in Firefox and the dl link on the GGOTD page started the download instantly. But when I came back to make a comment, the free game wasn't on the main GOTD page, but reloading the page swapped the contest game with the free one. As for the game, time management is not my favorite type, but I'm just glad to be able to download without jumping through hoops. Assuming someone there fixed the problem, thanks.
