Oh deer. So what constitutes an autorunner, or endless runner game? It's simple really: auto-runners are games where your character automatically moves through an environment, leaving you to dodge, jump, or otherwise shift their position as obstacles appear. They can be side-scrollers, top-down, 2D or 3D. And they can cover a surprising amount of thematic ground, too. Not that we ever want to see a return to the saturation point of a few years back, but the auto-runner went through a bit of a boom for a very simple reason: it's a very fun genre to play at least on your phone, or wasting a bit of time on a quick break.
Havent tried too many on the pc, perhaps MouseBot: Escape from CatLab on steam was a pretty good one and there have been lots here on giveaway like Squid Game Runner 3D which was that developers first game effort.
What you see in the featured video on steam is what you get. If you’re looking for a new endless runner game with more action-packed levels, tricky obstacles, and addictive gameplay...well this one looks and feels like someones high school game dev class homework assignment. And the student failed so badly they were bumped back 2 years. Just kidding, its fully playable just very simple with using A&D controls (which are not remappable in the game and should be added) to move out of the way of the oncoming deer coming right at you in different 'lanes'. Grabbing some med pills will restore your health so its actually more on the easier side for awhile and can see just how far you can go distance and grabbing as many of the pills as possible along the way. In that regard its playable and some may enjoy it as they do. After about 20 minutes I havent seen anything different such as level graphics or major changes with the basic gameplay so its really on the basic side of things. If your looking for something with a bit more substance you can skip this one for now while those who just want something to pass a few minutes might want to check it out.
