Hey Wabbit,
Happy Belated Birthday! And to Michelle too.
Thanks for asking about the hubby in the forum..It's just been crazy.
He’s doing much better but he still has some bad days. Especially after his therapy, twice a week. He still can’t lift his arm even with his shoulder without help…it’s just going to take time.
You take care and hope your Birthday was a good one and i hope the family is good. Huggles!

This game is amazing. It takes a while to get used to it and the jumping around can be annoying, but it's very entertaining and sucked me in after I got used to it.
I wonder if there is a way to remove the timing because it's stressful to me. I'd like to have plenty of time to look for clues.
Thank you for sharing this.

Sire, if you're referring to the 60 minute timer, I believe that is only to collect a bonus.

Happy Birthday you two, have fun!
I have this game, as I do most from MPC, and it's pretty good. The start of the games I play today. More adventure rather than just seek and find. The ones from the last few yrs of HOs are greatly improved. I do wish we would get some of the newer games, maybe from BF?
I would rate this game a 7 because it is an old one, when it was new I would have rated it a 9. The newer games have spoiled me!

Usually by the time I get one of these games installed and have time to try it out, it is too late to comment on it. So - I'm going to comment now about why I'm downloading today's game.
The first thing I noticed is the brightness. So many HOGs are dark or have such dark places on the screen that they aren't worth playing. My eyes, which aren't perfect, are quickly tired and watery, trying to see. This looks like I won't be tired out in a few minutes.
Another thing I'd like to say about HOGs in general is that I miss the old ones. I do not like hoping around from room to room and place to place, and trying to remember how to get where. I always spend more time wandering than enjoying the search. Then I give up. I like my games to be enjoyable instead of stressful. Yeah, I know, we are all different. :)

Happy Birthdays to both - and lots of happy memories to go with the celebrations! Many thanks for your quick review here - which, as always, is more thorough and complete than most of us manage to do.
Enjoy a bit of time off!
(Game looks interesting, but haven't downloaded it yet.)

Wow. I disliked this game so much that it inspired me to start keeping a list of all the games I played. You see, there are so many games with very similar titles that sometimes I DL and restart games I'd previously played, and I NEVER wanted to end up looking at this one again.
Okay, to be fair, it was likely due to my not having any experience with RPG games, and thus I may have missed the point/totally failed at some aspects of it. But this is what I put into my list about it:
You're stranded at a haunted asylum by a road blockage, and there are creepy mental patients (Or ghosts?) who ask you for things. You earn points and bux and other stuff by completing HOG and sometimes you randomly 'find' other items, mostly worthless but sometimes pieces you need to solve steps along the story line (like the pieces to put together a telephone) or those for a collection (like a figurine of a nurse? I've put together two) which I don't know if they do anything or what. Also there are maniacs and clowns and whatever roving about who 'curse' you in various ways, which you can kill but it takes like 800 points each time.
And you have to pay to play the HOG. At first there are only two available rooms and you keep playing them over and over, though the items change somewhat, and I got to level 8 which made two more rooms accessible. But I didn't earn enough points to keep up with what I had to spend for food and other aids. Plus a lot of the item names are improperly translated, or just wrong, and a bunch are words I never heard of, which makes it really hard to search for them. I've started this game and abandoned it at least three times over the past months, and now I'm deleting it so I'll NEVER do it again.

Happy Birthday to you and your wife and I hope you enjoy your day.
Thanks to GAOTD for this game, it's been a couple of months since the last HOG giveaway and I was beginning to worry that there wouldn't be any more!
