Cubozoid was available as a giveaway on January 2, 2007!
Cubozoid is both a fast-paced arcade game and a brain-teasing challenge; therefore, you must possess both a quick wrist and a sharp mind to win. Your task: keep a string of colored cubes from filling up your computer screen.
As the blocks wind their way across the game board, you must fire your own cubes at the procession in a frenzied attempt to create matches of three or more blocks of the same color. When you succeed, the corresponding cubes erupt in a dazzling display of multicolored particles.
Relief comes in the form of special blocks with unique powers. The Lighting Bolt, for example, zaps an entire row or column of cubes, while the Chameleon changes into the color of the block it hits. Learn to use these cubes well and you'll get to visit several striking locations around the world, including India, China and the Old West.
Although an easy setting is available, we know you have what it takes to beat one of our most challenging games, so play it today!

Featuring a stunning degree of visual detail and as much brick-bashing fun as we could cram into one release, Magic Ball 3 has changed Breakout games forever. The task before you is challenging. It's also filled with incredible sights and sounds!
Turtix didn't know what would happen when he tried casting a powerful spell without the supervision of his teacher. Then he learned dark forces had invaded five islands and kidnapped all of the young turtles from the School of Magic! Determined to set things right, the brave and commendable Turtix set out to rescue his friends and collect the scattered pieces of the amulet.
On April 14, 1912, the ill-fated RMS Titanic struck an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. Within hours, the majestic steamship, along with hundreds of passengers, lay in a watery grave deep beneath the surface. As a member of the Hidden Expedition Adventure League, you're responsible for exploring the ruins of the once majestic ocean liner and collecting artifacts for the Titanic Museum.
Seems to be a nice game but find it very difficult to play on the sideway from right to left... To hard for me to play... Would of loved it if it had been from the bottom up...

P.S.S. Activate the program first, I've never had any problems with any of GOTD's programs.

Interesting puzzle game that combines a variation on Tetris with a color matching element and includes bonus pieces. In the Tetris tradition, this one is faster paced than most puzzle games. Allows for multiple player profiles, saved games, and adjustable options. Soothing music and beautiful backgrounds and graphics. Fun and addictive!

#9,#10 This game needs hardware Direct3D 3D video card, shame it doesn't fallback to the older software MMX Direct3D renderer.
Tried it on a suitable system... would play better if game area was rotated 90 deg clockwise and arrow key controls rather than mouse movement control... it might be better with a real mouse rather than a laptops touchpad but i don't use a mouse on any of my pc's if I can help it.

A nice variant of Tetris.

The concept of this game is very interesting and entertaining, but the implementation is rather poor.
Among the problems :
- Only one color-blind-unfriendly scheme. The most common color-blindness is red/green confusion (about 7 % of the population). bricks should be of different texture or something for color-blin people.
- no possibility to change level of difficulty. The game is hardly playable for children (too fast). We need an option to slow-down the game for the yougest.
- no support for keyboards apart US layout (does not use the system keyboard layout !).
- as all other Alawar games, it does start in full screen mode, which is first annoying and second does not fit very well with multi-screen displays.
