Corgis!!

Hi everyone! My finger on my right hand is doing OK but frequent washing plus band aid with neo sporin was the doctors suggestion as I don't need to go in for any medical attention as it can be treated at home.

Today's platformer is in a sense cuteness overload I mean who does not love a Corgi? Oh Doge how cute you are!

The game is just a simple platformer with basic controls but with a twist. You'll find yourself getting use to jumping a lot and figuring out how to get from platform to platform.

I found myself in situations where you have to time the jumping correct in order to go to where you want to on the screen. At the bottom left a framerate counter is there. I don't have a top of the line gaming laptop but the Intel UHD 600 graphics card and Intel Celeron processor managed to pull off at least 20 frames per second with drops to 17- 18 occasionally.

Also the game has built in Steam like achievements where if you do something special in the game, at the bottom right you will see it but you have no real way of keeping track of what you achieved. You can also reset your progress according to the main menu but that's about all the configurability you'll get out of this game.

If you have a decent computer let's say in the last couple of years you can play this game but older computers may struggle to play it. FYI At the time of my review, the developer released this to Itch IO about 5 days ago.

Today's game is worth checking out if you're looking to challenge yourself but is most enjoyed with an XBOX 360 / XBOX One or XBOX Series X / S controller. I found myself now more accustomed to console style gaming so I have a Camo XBOX One controller for these kinds of games.

CORGI GAME 3d:

In Brief:
CORGI GAME 3d is a platformer with a 3D feel, created using the Unity engine; with colourful cute cartoon like graphics. To be successful, you'll need to master the sport of parkour (I think you use the F key. The controller is also supported in this game. :)

The Game:
You can access simple settings menu via the gear symbol in the top right hand corner of the games screen. Here you can toggle the audio and music on or off and save your progress. You can also reset your save files, that resets all achievements, inventories and progress.

As you progress you will encounter enemies. to kill those you have to jump on top of them. Miss your target and you're likely to die, so make sure you practice your jumping skills first.

There are obstacles that appear unsurmountable, but with the use of the movement, jumping and the fast move/parkour keys you can overcome these. If you die, you are sent back to the beginning of the level. There appears to be unlimited lives.

I could not progress further than the reddish orange cloud. After numerous attempts at getting past this , I gave up.

Key Bindings:

Keyboard:

W & Q = move back (left)
D = Move forward (right)
W & Z = look sideways (or back?)
S = crouch
F = fast move (parkour)
Space = Jump
Space x 2 = Double Jump
Space x 3 = Triple Jump

Controller:

D -pad left = move back
D-Pad Right = move forwards
D-Pad Up = Look right (or back?)
D-Pad Down = Crouch
A button = Jump
A+A = Double Jump
A+A+A = Triple Jump
Y button = fast move (parkour)
Left Stick = multidirectional movement

Conclusion:
If you are into action platformers with a challenge, this is worth downloading. If like me your fingers can no longer perform as well as they used to, you may find it difficult to progress. I like the graphic and the game play, although difficult for me, I will be keeping this for future attempts.
