The slideshow I've posted does include a few images of nude characters, none are offensive, but I thought I should warn the community so as not to cause offense. Also some of the videos I've linked to may also contain nudity. In game when you start character customization, Body features include nudity where you can select from three different modes, no nudity, partial nudity and full nudity. The nudity sliders includes breast size and endowment. Both can be ridiculous and on the part of a male wishful thinking. The graphics are very good, so both male and female bodies look pretty convincing. None of the images I've included in the review below contain nudity, but the slideshow does have a few that I thought were tastefully done.

The Game:
In Conan Exiles, you have been left to die in a barren wasteland. Near death, you are visited by none other than the legendary Conan the Barbarian, who rescues you from your crucifix and sends you off to build your own civilization in this land of savages and monsters. The main aim of Exiles is to build up a civilization – making your own fortresses, cities, Armies, slaves – to survive the harsh landscape that FunCom has created from the material of Robert E Howard’s mythology. Upgrading your fortress will allow it to withstand hordes of Savages or even the armies of other players, hoping to siege your walls, kill your people, and reap your spoils.
So off the bat, the first thing you’ll come into contact with, obviously, is the start menu. A loud orchestric collection of drums and trumpets plays, hypes you up for the barbaric lands of Sand and Slaughter. You are given a choice for Single player, in which you can survive as a lone wolf and become an even stronger King (with no allies can be no betrayal), or Multiplayer, allowing you and your friends to band together and rule over the Exiled Lands as an alliance. I prefer Single player/PvE over multiplayer because my internet speed is too bad for PvP, and I would just die anytime someone decided to sneak up on me (which happens a lot). It would be great to play with friends (if I had any), and I’m sure that the performance drop during combat will be fixed soon (the game is still in Early-Access territory), however I prefer to be able to experience the game how it was supposed to be played rather than being killed over and over again (just think what that can do to a man’s mentality).
Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.01_22h57m21s_097_

Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.04_21h07m43s_003_
The next thing you’ll notice after you’ve picked you’re playstyle (if you are on Multiplayer) is that it takes quite a while to load up all the servers, and once they do, there are hundreds of empty servers, essentially meaning that there is no point in playing Multiplayer if there aren’t multi-players. Then, once you have picked your server of choice, or even selected “Single player”, then your hype train of barbaric fun suddenly comes to…a…screeching…halt. The Loading screens. Oh god, the loading screens. I’ve probably spent so much time on loading screens that I’ll be asked to be its new-born child’s godfather. I can make a Five Minute Meal quicker than these loading times (5 minutes to be exact, if anyone was interested). Goldberg versus Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane was quicker than these loading times. What I’m trying to say is: It takes a while for the games to actually load up. This is made worse by the chance that if you wonder what’s wrong with game and randomly click your mouse, only to find that the game has actually frozen and just crashes. Being fare, the load times are bearable, but the crashes are too frequent.
When you finally get into the game you’ll immediately notice the graphics. This game – its design of the barren landscape, the NPCs, the ruined buildings, the small pieces of paradise – is beautiful. FunCom has perfectly captured the detail in each biome, the individual grass flakes or the sand dunes, all of it look great. The water could be more reflective, but keep in mind this is an early stage version of the game, and there is no doubt that they are constantly working on making this game look even more gorgeous. Even on medium, which I was on to help the game run faster, it still looked great.
also-dragon
You can create and customize your own characters, unfortunately there isn’t a lot of choice when it comes to things like hair or face as there are few to choose from, however there is a face morphing feature and I’m sure FunCom will add more as the game develops.
Also you can choose your penis size and breast size, and this game features extreme nudity, there is just male genitalia everywhere.
This game works like most, almost all, survival games. You have to collect resources, craft tools, collect more resources, kill some strange turtle looking monsters and creepy testicle things (the Imps, I’m not talking about slaughter bunch of men’s knee-knaws), build a small hut, collect resources, and here’s where it becomes interesting, expand your hut, then collect MORE resources. This is then where the game actually begins to become more unique than other survival games. You can then go about recruiting (or enslaving) other Exiles, and begin to forge a community and build a bigger base. Once you’ve done this and you feel A. your fortress is strong enough to withstand sieges from enemy players (or NPCs) and B. You can confidently take on bigger, and badder enemies, then you can build altars and summon “avatars”: huge titanic god-like creatures that you can control to lay waste to your enemies, however they happen to be a bitch to summon.
Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.01_09h42m23s_003_
Without going into too much detail, or I’ll be writing longer than it takes to actually summon an Avatar; you have to build a three tier altar, each piece of which takes quite a while, and a lot of resources to build, then you have to physically summon your god of choice (you can choose from Mitra; a gigantic bronze colossus – picture a huge Gladiator statue that moves, Set; An enormous snake – picture…an enormous snake, or Yog, An immense eldritch horror – picture Cthulhu, more to come). When summoning your god a huge beacon will appear that basically draws enemies to you in Single player, or reveals our location to everyone in Multiplayer. This means that you MUST make sure that either you can handle hordes of bad guys, or have some friends close by. If you die during the summoning then everything is lost, the God disappears, the ceremony ends, and you have to start building the altar again.
The combat in this game is what you would expect. Rapidly click your mouse to slash at enemies and dismember them. It’s nothing new, so it is pretty easy to pick up and master. In terms of enemies, this ranges from normal creatures like crocodiles or rhinos, to strange beasts like Imps (those testicle monsters I was talking about before), to the Crazy-giant boss monsters like Undead Dragons or Giant Spiders (of course it had to be Giant Spiders). Then of course there are also tons of fellow exiles and savages to worry about, but don’t worry if you run low on health there’s like a shit ton of rabbits and deer to elk, not to mention the handfuls of Bugs you can eat too. Basically, everything in this game either wants to kill you, or needs to be killed to survive. There are these things called Shalebacks, which are Turtle-Gorilla looking things that are supposed to be neutral and non-hostile (unless you attack them), but don’t worry about being confused because they’ll just attack you anyway.
Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.01_09h43m24s_009_
The game features Admin controls (if you are the host of the server), which means you can customise the world’s day and night cycles, and also control how fast you lose points in each of your survival stats (Hunger, thirst, energy etc). Much like games like minecraft, you can also “cheat” and spawn in items and NPCs and also become a God and go around slaughtering people as an Invincible Killing Machine, which I am prone to doing.
Unfortunately, due to this game being very early access, it comes with a few bugs and glitches. Nothing major apart from the Loading screens freezing and performance rate dropping during battle, however I did notice a few which became very annoying. The first main one was that everything except deer and rabbits attacked me, even the neutral enemies. This meant that I was constantly being attacked and in a game where you have to learn how to survive a barren landscape, “barren” being the wrong word to describe it as it is full of living organisms (all of which want to kill you). I wasn’t able to befriend any bad guys because they would always attack me. Another annoying glitch is that even when you save your spawn point, using a bedroll or a bed, sometimes you won’t always re-spawn at that point. The game is due for full release sometime in 2018.
Features:

⦁ Siege Warfare: Players can attack each other’s settlements with powerful war machines, such as siege towers or trebuchets, and fling rotting corpses over the walls of their enemies to spread pestilence in their streets.
⦁ The Purge: Hordes of NPC warriors will sweep down into the Exiles Lands and attack player settlements. Players must ready their defenses against this brutal attack, but can also go on the offensive and capture new thralls and strong gear.
⦁ Mounts: You will be able to enjoy mounted combat on horses and capturing camels, rhinos or even elephants to be used for pack animals or crushing your opponents walls. Mounted combat will also make its way to Conan Exiles.
⦁ Sorcery: Embrace the dark corruption of magic to summon demons or raise the undead to create an army of skeletons. Magic in the world of Conan is more than shooting fireballs out of your hands: it’s dark, terrible, and twisted.

Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.01_16h53m48s_063_

⦁ Settlement System: Create a living city, where you command your thralls to guard, patrol, craft, gather or trade based on your own schedules. Build roads, set up schedules for your thralls, and breathe life into your settlement.
⦁ Highland Biome: An all new area expanding the existing map into the highlands, with new creatures, armours, religions and a temperature system. Explore vast forests and scale tall mountains in this rugged, weather-beaten part of Hyboria.
⦁ Other Biomes: host to a large collection of harsh biomes, players can explore dark and haunted forests to brutal deserts.
⦁ Sacrifice : sacrifice enemy players to the gods to unlock secret powers that will help you turn the tide of battle.
⦁ Hunger and Day/Night System: players must manage their hunger/thirst in this survival game, and also take into account the time of the day to survive.
⦁ Fast-paced Combat: slay your enemies in first-person combat by crushing bones and sending limbs flying.
⦁ Extensive Crafting – collect resources and gather materials to craft weapons, armor, and items. Players can even construct buildings and band together to form cities.

PRO's:

⦁ Beautiful, great framerate
⦁ Great variety in Creatures
⦁ Easy to pick up and become familiar with
⦁ Better than most survival games (e.g. Ark – it actually works and runs well, and Rust – it has a great sense of fantasy and creativity – and No Man’s Sky – Don’t even get me started), and most Early-Access games
⦁ Cool choice of Playstyles (Purist, Roleplay, Experimental etc)
⦁ The developers have clearly allowed players to quickly progress through the survival aspects to be able to work on the main focus of the game which is to build up civilisations.
⦁ Character customisation is fun, needs more features though (no facial hair)
⦁ Combat is easy to learn
⦁ Barbaric combat
⦁ graphics.
⦁ RPG elements.
⦁ Various biomes to explore.
⦁ Extensive crafting, from gear to buildings.
⦁ Endowment control
⦁ Great immersive score
Bat Demon1_6k

CON's:

⦁ Annoying amount of patches
⦁ Spawn point doesn’t always save even when it says it does
⦁ non-hostile creatures than should only attack you when you attack them attack you regardless
⦁ Loading screen freezes frequently - Performance issues
⦁ Loads of empty servers, making multiplayer pointless (however bear in mind that this is Early-Access)
⦁ Only 70 players per server
⦁ Long load up times
⦁ Cheating is easy, though takes the fun out of it
⦁ giant spiders.
⦁ The map is always the same, no procedural generation.

Conclusion:
The developer gave me a free copy of this game so that i could post todays review, however, as I have only had just over 7 hours of game play so far, I've hardly scratched the surface. so far i've only played the single player game, getting used to the games mechanics, and trying to survive. To be honest, you need a a lot game play hours before you get to the stage where you have all the resources at hand to build defensive accommodation, your altar, and decent weapons and armor; with that in mind, the main bulk of this review comprises reviews from other players, and about 80% of the images were taken from online sources. I will be persevering with this game becasue it has similarities to other games i love to play such as The Elder Scrolls, Rust and Fallout: New Vegas (mainly the environments), plus I loved the Conan stories that Howard wrote; they were some of my stock reading when I was a teenager, together with Moorcock's Eternal Champion books (around 30 titles) and the early Shannara books by Terry Brooks (re-reading those at the moment) and of course one of my all time favorite fantasy books, The Lord of the Rings (which I've read about 20 times, though hardly touched the appendices). From my limited game play, I can tell I'm going to love this game and I'm really looking forwards to it being completed next year. Comparing it to other survival games like Rust, Ark: Survival Evolved , 7 days to die, Everspace, Don't Starve, Day Z, Subnautica, Outlast (not played the 2nd one yet), The Long Dark, and loads more, this is certainly one of the better ones. Like most early releases there are issues, especially when joining servers with loads of players, but hopefully by the time the game leaves early access these should have been solved. My initial opinion of this game; if you like fantasy games mixed with survival then this is a game you'll almost certainly love. If like me you prefer lone wolf (single player games, then this game has that as well. You can play on your own private server playing against NPC's or if you've got a good friend play coop and work through the grinding tasks quicker. I'll be updating this review as I gain more experience. At the moment it has replaced my favorite RPG The Elder Scrolls Online and although I have thousands of hours of game play time in the Elder Scrolls (via two copies of the online version and all the other single player games, I think I'm going to enjoy this game more.

Conan Exiles is a promising Hyborian Survival game. It shows signs that the developers are heading the right direction with this, but it just needs a little bit more. It can feel repetitive at times, and if you’re not playing with friends, it soon becomes a bore and there becomes little point to continuing. I would love to see more features for Character Customization, NPC Interaction (companionship building or Quest givers), or even more items to find. This game has so much to offer, it just doesn’t have it yet. I hope the developers see this and know that what they have, for an early-access game, is really good, and it’s close to possibly being the best Multiplayer Survival games in the market. If it gets more –say – RPG elements, and more story and reason-to-play, then it could be great
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the developer FunCom for giving away 20 keys (plus an extra one for me) for this excellent fantasy survival game based on Robert E Howards Conan books and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for securing these Steam key.

Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great day! Huggles!

Thanks Delenn, as birthdays go, it's been quiet, but we are focused on the kids exams at the moment. We had a joint birthday party last weekend as my wife's birthday is 8 day before mine. I'm looking for a new camera as the one I've been using for the past three years was dropped a few months ago (I was recharging the battery in-situ, then went to grab it forgetting it was connected to a socket and it was ripped out of my hands and smashed into the marble floor. The cameras detector cells and the optical zoom functions were damaged. Now there's a dark spot on every image due to the damage and long zooms over about x10 no longer focus (it';s a 20x zoom. The one I have my eye on is the next model up to the one I damaged. It's basically the same except it has more than double the optical zoom i.e. from a 20x to a 50x. You can get them up to x64 optical, but the ones I can afford with the higher magnification don't have Karl Zeiss lens's, plus I'm so used to the various functions on the one I've damaged I thought it a good idea to get one similar, so I'm opting for the x50 zoom. We want a working one in preparation for our vacation to Serbia next month.
I've added Chrono to my favorites and will be visiting every day now.

Whiterabbit-uk,
Happy Birthdaysss! Whiterabbit :)

Also, I hope your children's exams are going well and wonderful :)
I used to be a teacher long ago, and I know, helping children with learning... it is a handful, but it is worth it, even more, when it is about your own kids.

PS: Thank you Delenn for all the infos about giveaway games.

Thanks :)

Me too, I used to teach A level biology and chemistry (age 18), physics up to GCSE level (age 16) and math and geography to year 9 (age 14). Also taught electronics, metalwork fabrication etc to apprentices when I worked in industry, then as a demonstrator at university. Loved the job, though over the last decade teaching in the UK has become more like book keeping than actual teaching. My wife despite being a first class honors student who was offered several PhD placements but always wanted to be a teacher so declined the offer; she now regrets that decision. We both did our teaching diplomas together way back in 1991/2. Sadly she really hates the job now due to the constant changes and re-hashs to the curriculum plus of course the extra work she has to put in with book keeping duties etc. I'm glad I retired early (aged 49, though I do sometimes miss actually working, mainly due to the companionship you get from meeting people.)

It seems you accidentally forgot to include me in the winner's list. I will let it slide this time but don't let it happen again :P
Congrats to the winners, I am actually jealous this time :)

If you managed to get all possible entries over the last week you stood approx a 1 in 40 chance of winning a key, that's about a 2.5% chance of winning. Pretty dire. Still, there should be 20 happy campers out there tonight. :)

Brody, Hiya Brody. I am to poor to buy games as well (well most of the time) yet I managed to build a fairly big library with good games that I got either for free or for very reduced prices. You will not find a "Conan" here every week but since a few months Steam games are a regular thing here and not all have limited keys. Some of these games are surprisingly fun as well. Also visit the gotd forums (link can always be found in rabbits postings) and keep an eye out for posts by Delenn13. Also I suggest signing up for Origin, they always have a game "on the house" that you get to keep when it is no longer "on the house" (currently Medal of Honor Pacific Assault if I am not mistaken)

Youtube is also a place to check out obviously, follow some gamers that play the kind of games you like. Often they will be the first able to show new games nad I have several games that I found watching them that are still in early stages but can be played for free (either temporary or permanent)

there are enough freebies to be found both within Steam (check the free to play section in the store) and outside (Guild Wars 2, World of Warships/Tanks/Warplanes, Warframe, Warthunder, you can find many mmo's on Aeria games. There is LoL, DOTA2 etc etc (some games might have micro transactions. Listed games I know can be played without the need of having to do those. Guild Wars 2 has an expansion called HoT. Players that don't own HoT which cost about 30 bucks have a few restrictions when it comes to trading and entering certain areas)

Hi Mavadelo

The free game over on Origin is 'Dead in Bermuda' at the moment. They change the game over every several weeks or so, though it was every month when it first started a few years ago, but there doesn't seem to be a set period; for example, when they put Battlefield 3 'on the house' last year, it was only for a week, whereas others such as Syberia II were almost 3 months. Since they started to offer these 'on the house' games, other sites such as Ubisoft have also done similar things, for example their '30 years anniversary' giveaways that ran from around April 2016 to Dec 2016, where a new game was given away each month, including such games as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins, The Crew, Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Assassin’s Creed III plus others. Towards the end of the giveaway, they opened up every game they had previously given away plus others numbering a total of 30 games, many of them having been top AAA titles. Recently Steam have also been offering freebies over a limited time, that once tied to your account remain yours after the offers have passed. For those who cannot afford to buy many games, this past couple of years has been a fantastic time for free big name games. One of my favorite Indie games of the past few years Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves (I paid almost £15 when it was originally released) was made permanently freeware a few months ago on both Steam and GOG. Yes, definitely a good time for getting free or massively reduced in price games. You just have to look back to when THQ were struggling a few years ago; they included around $400 worth of games in a humble bundle and sold it for $5 the bundle included it's latest release Red Faction Armageddon, which was purported to have been the cause of the game houses demise following millions of dollars worth of investment into the creation of the game, which ended up being a flop, (I loved the previous Red Faction Guerilla, but the Armageddon release was a disappointment mainly because it was set underground in what was basically corridor after corridor of tunnels, with little variation. Several months after the THQ release we saw a Code masters bundle selling for the same price with another $400 worth of games included. Then the developer of the Bioshock series went into difficulty and we saw their latest creation Bioshock Infinity selling as a pre order for almost half the normal price and get this, they also offered initially two other titles from their library for free including the other Bioshock titles, Mafia II Spec Ops: The Line and others, and later extended this to three titles.
Personally I believe the advent of the Indie bundle in 200 has caused much of what has been going on in the gaming world of late. Loads of small Indie game houses have closed their doors and three of the big AAA developers no longer exist. Arcade games used to cost almost $20 per game prior to the 2008 financial crisis. Over a short period around March/April that year, arcade prices crashed to around $5 a game and AAA games in real terms have also come down in price significantly over this period. Prior to 2010 you rarely saw expansion packs, now called DLC, released for a game. You'd get the whole game on release. Now, most developers make their money by releasing half baked games then released the rest as dlc's over the next several months. Some even go as far as to sell nothing more than skins, that add no real content to their games for exorbitant prices; in some cases, bringing the price of their games up to ridiculously inflated prices. A good example is the Elder Scrolls Online series, that sells new mounts, and clothing as well as buffs and other items, none of which actually add anything to the game apart a different look. These can cost from several pounds to around £20. Every few months they release a new mount or pet that purports to be a limited edition, selling for over £20, then you see the same mount or pet the following year. I didn't mean to turn this into a rant, lol.
UPDATE: Checked Origin again this evening after seeing Delenns post and it is now MOH: Pacific Assault. I'm sure they have offered this before. I already owned the original hard copy, so wouldn't have purchased it via Origin, yet I have had a copy since early last year.

Thanks for the 'heads up' on that Delenn, . Was having trouble signing into my admin account for most of yesterday. I had changed some security settings, disabling cookies, which stopped me from signing in. Only figured it out when I tried to sign into my Hotmail account, and got the message that I needed cookies activated. Then was also able to sign into my admin account as well. Thankfully saw your comment in time and managed to secure a copy.
Also thanks for the 'heads up' on the latest batch of GOG connect games. Was really surprised ..... I got 35 out of the 40. Though I suppose with a Steam library of over 11 thousand games there was a good chance I'd get quite a few. :)

Seems to be a common problem, my son has the same issue. Hopefully the tech guys over on the giveaway team will fix it? If it's a global issue ,(hopefully), then the issue evens the playing field out.

OT (can't find the right thread, sorry):
I won a Steam key for The Samaritan Paradox which I activated and installed without a problem.

The game window is only the size of a business card and I struggle at the 2nd taks already to give the book to the man...

Do you maybe have any idea how I can make the window bigger and what my trouble could be?
Thanks for any idea.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Could be the resolution you have your monitor set at. Try turning down the resolution while playing the game. I know it's a hassle, but it should increase the size of the window.

Turn down the resolution? Why not try the oldest trick in this galaxy first.. Anu, try ALT + RETURN while ingame.

This is indeed a most incredible and definitely one of the best games offered here. Thanks to the developers and GoTD for this chance!

Also thanks to Whiterabbit for the detailed review esp. the screenshots. The environments and creatures look amazing! Would love to win a key for this one.

Do hope there's more character customization as the game develops. Wouldn't it be so cool to be a centaur? Or can you not play what would be considered monster classes. I draw the line at spiders - they are definite "cons" wherever they show up T_T.

I can see why this will be one of your new faves WhiteRabbit - the world looks vast! Will look out for further updates from your personal play time. ^^ Cheers.

PS: I still have all the TeamSpeak info, just have to unearth it in my programs list. Switching computers can be so confusing. O_O

Hi Dana

Thanks for your feedback. As I said to Mavadelo, it's likely going to be a very small chance of winning, but it is still worth the effort just in case you are one of the lucky winners. It stood at 15 to 1 i.e. about 6% chance of winning 7 hours into the deal, now it's about a 1 in 20 chance which equates to a 5% chance of winning 11 hours in. I reckon it will go down another 1% at least, but, you never know.

O_O Coonan? really? You didn't joke Stephen when you said one of the best giveaways ever on this site. :)
Been watching this game on twitch for a while now (for those not knowing, twitch is a game streaming site) and it looks to be a great game. Nice looking graphics, a good solid crafting system, and a decent soundtrack.
People should realize that despite it being listed both as SinglePlayer and MultiPlayer, this is really not a SinglePlayer game. This is a Massive Multiplayer Online Survival game and I want I want I want.

Now, most of us will be disappointed and not win and many of us can't pay triple-A prices. So for those interested in survival games that are either free or not to expensive there are some excellent options under 20 bucks:

Unturned: Minecrafty looking zombie survival game both MP and SP and the best... it's totally free (no micropayments either) http://store.steampowered.com/app/304930/Unturned/

Stranded Deep: Survival game set in the "Pacific": Early Access game where you are crashed with your plane in an island region with nothing but a dingy. Singlep Player only (for now) and only 15 bucks
http://store.steampowered.com/app/313120/Stranded_Deep/

Subsistence: Survival game set in a woodlands area. Fight bears and wolves, battle raiders. build a log cabin. So far single player only but multiplayer is planned. Made bu just 1 person. Good crafting system, regular updates, and additions. For only 14 bucks it can be yours
http://store.steampowered.com/app/418030/Subsistence/

There are much more titles for around 20 to be found on Steam with survival. for example, Iced and Don't bite me bro. Also, ARK Survival Evolved is currently on sale for just 9 bucks.

I was really surprised when I saw this appear in the listings a couple of months ago. At one point I thought it was going to disappear, but was told they were waiting for the dev to give permission. They also managed to secure a key for me. I was hoping to give a full and original review, but it takes some time to get really into the game, so I opted for one I felt affinity with.. You start out with literally nothing but a loin cloth (depending on whether you choose total or partial nakedness, which I chose the latter. There are useful resources online that help point you in the right direction for finding the stuff you need to craft etc including maps that show you exactly where to find important items etc., but I tend to ignore those as I like to explore without any help. Which is why I'm far from getting any decent weapons etc yet. Also I've only played solo so far and as I only got the key five days ago and as I'm in the middle of helping my kids with revision for their exams play it as much as I'd have liked to, at least to a point where I could write a fair account of the game. Usually I like to these types of games for quite a few hours at time) . Otherwise I'd probably have wracked up 30 hours or more by now instead of several. I almost purchased this when it was released on Steam, but it was only a few days after release that I saw it appear in the giveaway listings, so decided to wait. The odds of winning are going to be very low as I'm sure once the Steam community sites get wind of this offer we will see a lot more people entering. It's already around 16 to 1 i.e. just over a 6% chance of winning a key and we are only 7 hours into the giveaway.

Mavadelo, I miss phrased the MP/SP comment. Although it is also listed as SinglePlayer it is most fun as MMOS. That is what I wanted to say ... ;)

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Yes, you can play single player and interact with the NPC's, or you can open the server you create and allow friends to play coop with you. I will eventually enter a true multiplayer server, but only once I've had some time to understand the game fully, which will be some time away yet.
