Infinite mode: Match the letters of the word in any order and survive as long as you can;
Time attack: Solve as many words as you can in a fixed amount of time by matching the letters of a word in any order. Achieving the goal extends the timer for the round;
Ghost words: A word is displayed for 3 seconds and then it fades away. Match the letters in a word in any order by recalling the letters;

Slide Ride Arcade

Slide Ride Arcade is a word arcade game that was released to Steam last month via their Greenlight project and is an early access release, so you may find features missing from the described game and you may come across various bugs. The goal of the game is to assemble the presented word out of letters which are sliding along the bottom part of the screen.Fail to make up the suggested word and you will be busted. There are thousands of words to assemble, ranging from 3-letter words all the way up to 16-letter words. Using power tiles you can up your game and achieve better scores. Find out what power tiles work best for you and craft your strategy to achieve the best score.

Game modes include

Infinite mode - match the letters of the word in any order and survive as long as you can.

Time Attack mode - solve as many words as you can in a fixed amount of time by matching the letters of a word in any order. Achieving the goal extends the timer for the round.

The game is okay but the letter buttons and the main buttons have areas that are smaller than the buttons that actually do what you are looking for. In other words if you don't click in the right spot nothing happens. You need to be able to click anywhere on the tile and have it work. I had to click as many as four times on a letter before I hit the right spot and it would accept my click. A level that wasn't timed for the little kids would be really nice too. There are many other possibilities for game modes for this so the game could be expanded. i.e. must use letters in top row only, must alternate rows, must click in order from left to right.

You advertise right at the top of your website...(We offer FREE licensed games you’d have to buy otherwise.) What ever happened to that?

They sold out is what happened, or they figured they could save a bit of money by only giving away certain numbers of products while forcing people to advertise for them.

Hello Kat,
Basically, it has become quite difficult to get the developerss feature their games for free for 24 hours, but some of them are ready to give away a limited number of licenses. That is why we have decided that it would be better, for the community in the first place, if we give away a limited number of copies instead of just turning down the offer. As you may remember, we used to publish games only on weekends, but as we are now slowly growing and getting more and more deals, we might be able to give away games more often. In fact, we've already had several campaigns on weekdays and, hopefully, there will be more in the future.

As for the Facebook thing and other actions. The main point here is that we have visitors from all over the world and different time zones. So it would be just unfair for a big part of our community if we just post the license keys at a given time.

On the other hand, I assure you that giving away unlimited number of copies for 24 hours is still our top priority, as you are getting more free copies, we are getting more visitors. So we are on the same side here :)

Giveaway of the Day, I think you do a great job. Just for starters you have been around giving away games for years, moderating the website, reviewing the games, etc. That's a LOT of work. So many many websites that used to have things for free now charge. Tell some of the complainers to try looking up someone's phone number and address online and that's only one example. Don't let the boo hoo-ers get you down. You do great work!!!!

Anyone with a few brain cells left will understand that it does NOT matter which side of the world we're at. Anywhere at anytime, everybody witnesses a 24 hour period in a day. Your GGOTD comment is a lame excuse!!!

Hi Weezie, I think you are missing the point. What the giveaway team were saying was, that if they gave the keys at a set time, it would exclude parts of the world where community members are still in bed. Regards

Tried to review Slide Ride Arcade even though I'm not thrilled by 'Win a key' but I don't use social media because of my occupation, and probably wouldn't even if that was not the case, all that said, I did look up screenshots and found a video on it. It seems like a simple letter/word game, except they make you find them in reverse etc., not my cup of tea, and don't think I'd keep this one even if if I had been able to download it.
