The Game

We've had several games by the developer Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich since September last year i.e. Bright Bob (Sept 25th 20), Unmanned Helicopter (Oct 13th 20), Red Points (Oct 22nd 20), The Young Mathematician (Nov 11th 20), Girl Blond (Dec 17th 20), Do you know de way (Dec 17th 20), Basketball Hoop (Dec 21st 20), Football Russian 2018 Dec 25th 20), and T.B.P. (Feb 9th 21). Todays game Cargo Transportation: Low Poly (or Cargo: TLP) is a game where you have to move cargo boxes around obstacles to a finish line. The graphics are cartoon like with an angular look to them.

Cargo Transportation: Low Poly was created using the unity engine and has 24 levels of increasing difficulty to work through. All but the first are unlocked initially. Once unlocked you can return to that level to improve your score and star rating. Playing the same level repeatedly will allow you to build up a decent amount of gold, which can then be used to improve your vehicle.. You can change the graphic settings from Low, Normal and High. The high setting adds shadows. You can see the effect by clicking each of the buttons. Low would be ideal if you are still using older computers , but most newer computers should easily run on the highest setting.

As you progress you earn stars and gold. These can be used to upgrade your vehicles. There are three categories each with three possible upgrades i.e. Speed, Handling and Motor Torque, plus you can also paint your vehicle. Each one of the three improvements helps you to complete the level on time. for example the Motor Torque enables you to speed up or slow down faster, which then contributes to the handling of the vehicle. With each of the upgrades at their lowest levels it's actually really hard to beat the time and be able to pick up all of the gold without losing some of your cargo.

The aim is to get from the start to the finish as fast as you can, picking up gold as you go. Hitting obstacles which take various forms such as holes in the ground, sleeping policeman traffic calmers (if you stop in the middle of one of these without any upgrades, you will become stuck. I suggest upgrading the engine torque first as this will enable you to free yourself), rocks, barriers etc. may cause you to lose some of your cargo. The faster you move the more likely you'll lose your cargo. Cargo is carried in the back of your truck. To score the highest number of stars you have to get to the end without losing any cargo within the allotted time and collecting all of the gold coins. It's not as easy as it appears. Each level awards a maximum of three stars. In my first five attempts I've managed to gain one star out of 15, lol

Overall a nice little time waster. I enjoy these when I need to take a break from more in depth games. I highly recommend you download this one. It's very playable and has some re-playability as well.

The latest game from Epic is now available called Halcyon 6 Starbase Commander; a retro space strategy RPG with base building, deep tactical combat, crew management and emergent storytelling. Next Thursday 18th February we will be getting two games Absolute Drift; an excellent minimalistic top down drift game and even better Rage 2; a superb post apocalyptic first person shooter, with the ability to drive vehicles in an open world. {Created by one of my favourite game studios (Avalanche Studios with ID Software) I'm playing two of Avalanches games at the moment (with friends) called Second Extinction and Generation Zero; they are also the creators of the fantastic Just Cause franchise}.

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 57 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcowares home page after the game has installed, but does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcowares home page it earns them some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free.
