Looks like a good game

I guess that I was right that something was off per my other comment that was made in https://game.giveawayoftheday.com/candy-madness/

So yeah i'm sorry but if the comments below are right about this being a ripoff then yeah that not cool.

The game worked fine for me on Windows Vista. It's kind of like a vertical row only Super Collapse with candy, and only two are needed to make a match. Kind of fun for a few minutes, which is as long as I lasted about ten times. I'm not sure if there are levels, because I never got past the first one. However, after the Game Over screen comes up. with three bouncing candies, and you close it to go back to the main screen, the main screen will only send you back to that (Game Over) screen, instead of automatically letting you start a new game. I don't know if it's supposed to, or if it even does that for everyone, but I had to turn off the game and click it up again, in order to play again, which made me lose interest more quickly than I might have otherwise.

This be rip off of Candy King. The people who make game are thieves! Why GOTD give way game like this?

Surely all games are rip off's of previous games, for example all match threes could be considered rip offs of the original tetris or chain shot games, or the more recent Bejewelled series. But you could also include the bubble popping games like Puzzle Bobble, Puzz Loop, Zuma and the Luxor series. Though match three games that are identified with the genre where the aim was to create matches of three or more identical tiles in a grid like structure came about with the game Shariyi released in the mid 90's then bejeweled early in the 2000's, then followed other familiar match three's such as Zoo Keeper, Big Kahuna Reef, Jewel Quest and Chuzzle, all basically the same, but with additional content, for example different tile sets and in some cases extra's such as the fish screen saver that came with both Big Kahuna Reef releases. First of, I am not really instilled with feelings of trust when a game developer doesn't even take the time to get a proper domain and uses the default URL he get's from jimdo but I can look past that as I started most of my web adventures with default URL's as well.

The Game: Uh.. what? It is completely unclear to me what the objective is, clicking the question mark at the main menu gives me "arrange the candy vertically allowing the same colors to make direct contact for point" (spell checker anyone?) Clicking the sound, facebook and twitter icons does absolutely nothing. Going into game.... Some candy I can click, some candy I can't click. Why I can or can't click them is totally unclear to me. I guess I need to get two chocolate (for example) on top of eachother to gain points but... I can't click the candy that divides them, the candy next to it that is totally unrelated I can click however.

As for the assets... Litteraly EVERYTHING is ripped. Main menu icons and candy is clearly ripped from a famous KING title with candy in it's name, same goes for backgr... wait... EVERYTHING is ripped from that famous KING title.

Really GOTD? You now allow developers with the ethics of Digital Homicide onto the giveaway site? People that put ZERO of their own creativity in a game, get the unity development kit, take the default assets from that or other developers and try to make a quick buck with stolen IP's?

Looked at it and deleted, if I want KING candy I go to facebook and play them flash games overthere

Thanks for the feedback Mavadelo. Tried to get the game to work several times on the day of the giveaway, but gave up by late evening. Didn't realize they had fixed the data folder issue. sounds like it's not worth the effort.

The greenlight vote is not for this game but for another one of their titles, it might be nice to know that in advance
