I love the music in this game! It's pretty challenging as well, for me anyway. Unfortunately when you click "Hint" it takes you to a web page trying to sell you the game (which you already own), instead of providing any help.

I do not like it that much, where is the "uninstall"?

Woohoo! A mouse-only game I never tried before! :D
Ok, I'm not very good at this, but it does play well (Vista basic with 2GB RAM, 3GH Intel) and the music is not too annoying. ;-)
The graphics are simple and game play isn't resource heavy. This alone increases my overall rating to about 8 out 0f 10.

Fine Win 7 Ultimate x32. Just played first few levels. Keeper for now.
Clean, fresh, simple. Going to keep links to kind solutions knowing this one will get harder at some point. Nicely done for this type of puzzler. Small set of options. Seems just 1 main executable file. Make shortcut. Doesn't appear to make any further intrusions to system. Shouldn't get too many install barfs.
Great to use little grey cells for a change from eyeballs/fingers overdosing.
Happy Holidays to all. Thanks for reviews & programs this year!!

I don't think anyone can complain about the price on this one.
I like these sort of TIM (The Incredible Machine) puzzle games although I don't like the time limit that this one has.

The game is interesting. Should keep the kids occupied for a few hours. What makes the game last longer is that you can make levels. It is a keeper.
Merry Christmas to all.

Yes that's a good point. I clicked the hint button to see what it would do and was taken to the developers web page. Strange.

Merry Christmas all.
Thank you Whiterabbit, for all you do for us.
Mechanism is driving me nuts!! I love physics and mechanical stuff, but the 10th level in the easy stages is making me nuts!!
Any suggestions on how to complete this level?

Sorry not had time to play it since we were given it last week. Been too busy checking out all the Xmas bargains I've been buying from Steam. Will get back to you via this thread if i manage to take a look. :)

Merry Christmas to all; sorry, I slept in this morning, so haven't written up a review yet. I wasn't given the heads up like usual. Will try to cobble together a short review if time permits.
Introduction:Hi Suki, it was exactly the same for me. Obulis was a beautifully crafted game, but once you get past the easy levels, it's super super hard. Ive abandoned it for easier puzzles. To be honest it relies more on positioning than skill, (excuse).Try Dachinko instead, another physics based puzzler based on the game patincko. Brilliant and cheap. ;-)
One hour later.............................................
Finally, heres a brief review of the game:
Installation:
The game downloads to a 6.40Mb zip file that unpacks to a read me and dual activation and setup file. The game installs to the following path by default, but you can change the path during the installation wizard:
C:\Games
The game unpacks to a 5.97Mb flash game that installs straight into the games folder without a folder of it’s own. You will need to create your own shortcut for the game. The game works on my Win 7 Pro and Ultimate 64 bit platforms, my Vista Home Premium 64 bit and Vista Home Basic 32 bit and Win XP Pro 32 bit platforms.
CaesarQuest is a new point and click physics based puzzle game from Wheemplay. Hide good Caesar from falling stones, and drop the evil Caesar from the level!
Reference accessed HERE Dec 25th 2010
The game is similar to last week’s game from the same developer, (though I don’t know whether the same spyware is included – I’m sure someone will report it if it is present). My security software passes it with flying colours so I am happy to include it in my games library (I love physics based puzzle games). The game opens up in a window, but you can quickly convert it to full screen by clicking on the button to the top right of the window.
There are limited options to configure the game with a music and sound effects slider to adjust the volume as well as a slider to adjust the games graphics quality, however I could see no difference when comparing the lowest and highest settings on a 25” monitor at the highest resolution possible..
The aim of the game is to protect the Caesar coin from being dumped on falling rock. Each level comprises of a number of items that you can use to protect the coin from the falling rocks. Once you've progressed through the first few levels a second ‘bad’ coin is included that you have to get rid of before protecting the good coin. Rock falls will not start until you move specific items that are used to protect the good coin (Ceasar coin). There will always be items that can be used to force the bad coin off the screen and other objects that will protect the Caesar coin. The longer you take to accomplish the task the fewer points you get. Points count down as time progresses till it reaches 0. The game has 30 levels of increasing difficulty. There is a levels map which enables you to replay any level that you’ve already played. Levels that haven’t been played yet are locked except the next one to the last one you completed. You can reset any level to the start whenever you wish during game play and return to the levels map or the main menu via a couple of clicks of your mouse or trackball. The game is fully mouse controlled.
There’s also a levels editor included so you can design your own puzzles. I’ve linked to several walkthroughs below, but if you don’t want to see how each level is won then just watch the first video that will give you an idea as to what the game entails.
Features:
• Excellent pixel art graphics
• 30 addictive levels
• Achievements and high scores
• Includes a levels editor
• Physics based puzzles
Video:
Please note that all the videos will give you spoilers for at least one level, tohugh most show several different levels being solved. You can see several videos of walkthroughs HERE - (level 2 walkthrough) , HERE -(walkthrough 1 to 28) , HERE - (walkthroughs 01 to 10), HERE - (walkthroughs 11 to 16), HERE - (walkthroughs 16 to 20), HERE - (walkthroughs 21 to 25), HERE - (walkthroughs 26 to 30).
Images:
You can see a slideshow of about 25 images HERE. Be aware that there are a few images showing solutions to the first four levels. You can see all images on one page by clicking on the grid button which can be found to the bottom right of the screen just above the photo strip. There’s also a slider to increase the size of the thumbnails in the grid.
Conclusion:
Overall another excellent physics based game from this developer. The inclusion of a levels editor should add lots of re-playability to this game. It’s not hard to use, though there are no written instructions that I’m aware of. I’d give this game 7 out of 10 for its family fun and simplicity of design.
I will be posting my usual christmas specials over the coming days. i've already posted a few in the games discussion forums and have around 30 plus more games several of which are ideal for the children. I meant to post more yesterday and today, but am still rather out of it after catching my daughters virus last week. :( I will endeavout to start posting either later today or tomorrow, so please do keep an eye on the game discussion forums
