Brief Game Review

Bunny Hop is a side scrolling platformer where your character, a rabbit collects carrots by jumping from platform to platform avoiding the spinning blades that are located at the corners/ends of each platform. You start with three lives, every time you touch one of those spinning blades you lose a life. Once all three lives are gone you are transported back to the beginning of the level. Each level has a number of carrots to collect before you can proceed to the next level. The number of lives and the number of carrots you need to collect are indicated in the top left corner of the screen. As you collect carrots, the carrot indicator counts down to zero. once you reach zero you can then proceed to the exit which is located in the bottom right corner of the game play area. To leave the game press the Escape key. This will take you to the main menu. If you pass level one you will get a continue button added to the main menu. Leaving the game saves your progress up to the level you have managed to complete, but it doesn't save level progress if you left the game part way through a level.

The game installs to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bunny Hop and you control the rabbit using the ↑ to jump, with a double jump option, ← to move left & → to move right. Four of the five desktop shortcuts can be deleted once the game has been installed

Conclusion:

Bunny Hop is a short platformer developed by Sovkey'. Most of Sovkeys games are asset flips, using assets from other games. The developer has had numerous games removed from Steam, so creates new profiles and gives a different name, for example with today's game the developer is called Easy Game Studio despite the intro to this game telling you the developer is called Sovkey.. There is no variation between levels, no indication which level you are on; and with a sickly green background color the same level design throughout (very few levels like most of these Sovkey games) and no challenging opponents to deal with, this game becomes boring very quickly. If you enjoy playing platformers, this may be worth downloading. It'll probably keep you entertained for maybe 10 to 20 minutes. Personally I've already deleted it; despite the rabbit reference :)
