I downloaded it as did my husband. My system and his both said exception no open GL??? So does anyone know what that refers to as he has windows 7 and a newer computer than myself? Thanks

It gets quite challenging but there's a problem with Level 27. Overall quite an 'okay' game. Thanks GGOTD!

It was kinda' buggy, poor spelling & I must say, the knocking sound Bumpy makes when he touches the platform repeatedly is irritating.

Fun at first, but too many bugs everywhere. When I lose all my lives, the game hangs and closes down on its own... & at level 27 I passed right through the portal but didn't go on to the next level, I hit the spikes and died :(

I'm getting stuck in level 27 too, can anybody teach me how to pass to level 18 please ?

Actually my earlier comment, #75 is false, level 11 was not impossible, but level 27 is, when you go to jump into the portal, the last move is to fast and the portal has not fully materialized. Anyways, I reverse engineered the save format so I skipped to level 28, i'm at level 65 and no other levels seem impossible. Post if there's interest in the saving schema. Thanks GGOTD, this one was actually quite cool!

Level 11 is impossible, other than coming to a grinding halt at level 11 the game is overall quite fun, two thumbs up!

well i would like to say is that i downloaded the game but i can't play it. it says that the game has an internal error or something like that. would have really liked to see what it was about. me and my kids love Game giveaway of the day. but his weekend was a total flop. better luck next week end.

#38---- I just downloaded & installed it on my XP Serv Pack 2 & after creating the player,(my name), it also would NOT work for me. I'm a game freak & have several games that I bought, but this one is a huge disappointment! I'm a 66 yrs young lady & I enjoy playing games. This is bot the first one I've gotten from GOTD that has failed to work. BTW, does anyone know where I can get the app for 80 Days Around the World? I love that game, but would like the app so I can put it on a CD to have when my PC quits working @ all & I have to re-install my entire OS AGAIN! I'm not shouting, just trying to make a point when I use upper case on certain words.

Another one that can't detect proper screen. Looked like 4 side by side flipping windows so was too bumpy jumpy to even be able to see the start up instructions.

Installed & runs ok on my xp sp3.
Couldn't get past level 2 or 3, all seems to be the same level to me, no matter what I do, nothing changes, just seems to replay level 1 or 2 over & over again. Am I doing something wrong or?
I usually HATE platform games, especially if they use keys instead of mouse, BUt this 1 is so simple, it didn't really matter.
I'll see if my grandchild can figure out how to do it, sometimes is smarter about platform games than me. lol:)

Installed fine on XP SP2, but it was a bit flaky on startup. It defaulted to 640x480 and such great instructions :), it took a minute or two to figure out how to adjust. Unlike other people, mine had no problems to get going.

That's about where it stopped though. The spelling errors jumped right out, but that is minor. I even got to level 6 rather easily and there it gave me the "We're sorry, but the program has encountered a problem" error. Haven't gotten passed the error in 10 plays, so this one is destined for the uninstall pile. I'm not sure if the developers are using us as beta testers, but this is the only one that consistently errors out on me. Hopefully, this is limited to me.

I happen to like kids games (and so does my child), so I'm not too concerned about all of the chatter. I would like to see more multi-player games like Ingenious, though.

Not very much to say about the game, your average to poor logic and strategy game. Kind of like super granny but not as super. It was kinda fun and I'll keep it around. Persistance is the key. Thanks

My Grandson is so dissappointed. I downloaded this twice and installed it. Said it installed fine but when we tried to play it, a black screen came up with a red box that said out of range. I couldn't get it off the screen and had to completly restart the computer to get ride of it. I have had this happen before to games I tried to download from here. Have no clue what causes it. I use xp 3.

LOL, I think the Windows 3.1 poster is just kidding, folks. Too funny. Now who wants to help me load this up in DOS 5.0?

Your system is at least TWO generations behind the minimum required to run the program so you're complaining about your system, NOT the program. Your comment really helps no one.

Installed great on Vista, played to level 3, game crashed and caused my pc to reboot in low resolution. Had to reset my resolution then uninstalled the game. Looked like it may have been a fun game but I won't keep anything that does that to my pc.

It downloaded fine ,but you play with the keyboard.

Installed easily on Vista Home Premium Sp 1. It's a little jittery, and the arrow keys have to be pressed more than once to get the little guy to move, but works fine otherwise.

This is my kind of game actually, but this one doesn't make the cut.

I got to level 5, and realized I had run out of keys because I had missed so many times and hit walls instead of the openings. I dislike that the loss of those are permanent. The controls are bad, the guy would need to either respond immediately to keypresses or have decreased speed.

I agree with #49 that the bouncing sound is really annoying. The music is unobtrusive and okay though, at least in the few couple of minutes I stayed with the game. Thumbs down, I cannot recommend this game for 20$, not for 10 either.

Hmm, unusual for me to be able to dl AND play when everyone else has so many problems. Logically, I haven't figured out how to get past level 2, admittedly I haven't spent too much time trying to figure it out! I think it's cute and something to waste time with. Thanks and if anyone has any hints for getting through level 3, I'm open for suggestions.

I don't usually leave a comment, especially if negative, however this calls for a comment. No point in having a free game if you cannot activate it. Today was a waste for GGOTD as well as for me. This game refuses to activate and I get repeated error messages.... I give up, I was only going to install it for the kids anyway. Better luck next week.

Where is Whiterabbit??? I love his comments. I noticed he didn't comment on yesterdays as well. He's the only one that I read the comments on as his is perfect with more on the game. I always thought that he should work for GGAOTD as his comments was precise!

#7 -- Windows 3.1 IS NOT listed as one of the operating systems it will work with. I'm sorry, but how can you expect them to put out programs that work with an operating system that is 20 years old.

Run on Vista but not my kind of game

well, I like it; i have a prob with an error msg, but that may be because i'm not able to get beyond the 3rd level. so... installed great on my xp. Sometimes I like a game, sometimes I don't, but as always, I don't b!tch, cause it's FREE!! Thanks!

Quick download. started fine. liked that I could choose windowed mode and choose a resolution. Played first level. Response time to keys is a bit strange but ok. GS should enjoy it if it will load and play on my old Win 98 I let him use for games.

If you would bother to read the system requirments you might notice that Vista is not listed as a supported OS. Therefor, if you can't get it to work running Vista, don't blame the game! :X

Doesn't run on my PC WinXP SP3. When starting, my system is shutting down.

I don't think I've had to play a game with arrow keys since the 80's.

Would be more fun if the game responded quicker to my arrow commands.

I tried a couple levels and will go back later.

Runs just fine on xp..smooth game play and very amusing to play...amused myself and my 9 year old loves it too..game plays with arrow keys ..don't let the simple look fool ya.. gets harder and very challenging!...big thanks gaotd!

I have Vista and all the games have worked fine for me.

WinXP SP3, downloaded and installed without problems. Launched the game and immediately had problems with the sound (getting "stuck"). It was quite annoying so I turned off music & sound while playing the game. I felt like my keyboard was broken because I had to press the keys several times before the character would respond.
Very little in game help. Got to level 3 and learned from experience that platform you start off on disappears with each jump, and you 'die' if the platform disappears and you haven't moved on. That's pretty much as far as I got and decided this wasn't worth the download.
