An arcade game combining a courier simulator and a space ship captain.

Happy years passed as one day. Grateful people of the Fairyland composed numerous songs and tales about the dwarves' adventures. They showed their appreciation with royal feasts.

But the real hero cannot rest on the laurels, fighting for the weak is his destiny. Weapons are sharp, magic potions not sour.

To secure peace means to prepare for war... A new challenge for your favorite heroes! This quest is even more difficult! It's the most enthralling adventure you've ever gone through... This time the dwarves are to pursue evil not only in the dungeons, but in the open air too. The enemy has cherished ill-will and got slier. Lots of his minions are out to make people suffer. Is there a hero who can come to the rescue of poor people? Two heroes armed to the teeth, with the pockets full of gold to buy more weapons from the merchant. The dwarves' courage and your ingenuity will crack this quest, but not so fast.

You'll spend long hours fully enchanted by the game, and so will your friends.

This pack has 2 new episodes: Bees town and Valley of ancients.

Control a classic Jump'n'Run game with your mouse? How could that ever work? O_o

Anyway: Can I play this "July Pack" without having installed the "Brave Dwarves" main game?

I also love the Brave Dwarves games and look forward to getting the next installment here. I told a good friend about this site and about the Brave Dwarves game that was offered several weeks ago. She downloaded it and played it and is now as hooked as I am. We keep each other informed when a new one is offered, usually by email since I live in northeast and she lives in the midwest. But she was afraid I wouldn't read my email today in a timely fashion so she put in a long distance phone call just to tell me there was another Brave Dwarves offering. That is how much both she and I enjoy this series of games.

Thank you, Gameover Games and GAOTD for providing such a wonderful series!

With much gratitude...

Boring game; very slow gameplay, and the first time I tried to start it, it froze immediately - should've taken that as a warning and uninstalled it right away. Unpleasant waste of time. I do appreciate the good games that have been offered through your site, but Brave Dwarves 2 and similar games aren't on that rather short list...

I LOVE Brave Dwarves 2 and the expansions. The graphics are beautiful AND the game is fun. Not a combination that shows up here frequently. (I love the site, but sometimes the games do suck. Fact of life.) I'm not as big a fan of Back for Treasures, but those are okay. I will gladly download any Brave Dwarves 2 expansions they want to make and give away here. The more the better. :-D

Very nice.
Although I did not enjoy "B Dwarves Back for Treasure" this one is additional adventures in the "Brave Dwarves 2 Deluxe" type which I especially enjoyed. It you like that one, you will feel the same about this.

This is my second Brave Dwarves game to D/L. I first tried the Summer Pack and loved it so I was really happy to see another one here to try. Brave Dwarves July is also lots of fun, the graphics are really a treat, music and sound effects are extra good, not annoying...and the game can be saved whenever you want. This is a super family game, Thank you! Thumbs up.

Enough is enough, ban this type of game, booorrrrinng. I know, instead of dwarves and damn screensavers at the weekends, give us something to look forward to...top of the range software that we can use. Apart from weekend stuff, I love your site and I recommend it to everyone.

I just love these Brave Dwarves game and hope there will be many many more! I'm still looking for more hidden treasure in BD2 even though I have finished all the levels in there (there were tons of stuff I missed the first time through).

Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

Ahh yes... lets stand in awe of a game that one can compare best with early Amiga games of the late 80's, the ones that ended up in bargain bins upon release.

Let's cheer on the creators that brought us one dwarf game after the other so that we can have more of the same. Let's make sure that they don't grow, don't learn, don't improve but get encouraged to keep rehashing the same thing over and over and over again.

Are there really no game creators out there that have some common sense, common decency and actual programming skills to make something that is a challenge for the mind?

How is a game you have to use the keyboard with distracting?? Is it that hard to remember where a couple of keys are? Guess it must take forver for you to type your useless comments eh? Just cause it cant be used with the mouse doesnt mean it isnt a good game, and vice versa, how many double games use the mouse and suck large? Why dont you try a more constructive criticism? But i wouldnt want you to hurt your poor little brain with all that thinking.

I am not really into the dwarves but at least for the people who like them, its nice getting more in the series. Oh and its still way better than weeks of double games giveaways lol.

I gave this a thumb up even though I didn't download it. That's because I already have more versions of this game than I will ever finish playing. I consider it a good platform-type game, but I have enough of them for now.

Hooray!!!
Just in time,I just finished playing two former Brave Dwarves (Deluxe version died when my hard drive quit:-( )The weeds in my yard are thriving and my skin is still white.
The game: The graphics are nice but I seem to be stuck on about the sixth or eighth screen just when map goes back up I can't seem to jump high enough to get on the bridge? to take the elevator stone up to the next level:-( The screen before doesn't have a higher platform to jump from.
Well I guess I should go mow the lawn and wait for a hint or something
Have a nice weekend

And hello to you, Heln! I agree that this could be a spring board for budding game developers. What a good idea Heln. Maybe the GGAotD team should advertise as such?

My daughter was very pleased with the July pack. Callum on the other hand mirrored some of the negative comments above,…....he's 8 years old. Great game, especially if you missed the previous Brave Dwarves 2 giveaways. Don't confuse the 2nd series with the first. The second one is much better; graphically at any rate. Check out the cheat codes if you get stuck………....see the link I posted in comment #11 :)

Peace and Goodwill to all

p.s.
I haven't forgotten the promise's I've made to several visitors here. I’ve just been slowly getting back to normal. Hopefully I'll sort things soon. :)

I've never tried any of the Brave Dwarves 2 series, and it is a great improvement over Brave Dwarves 1, which was also very enjoyable. It won't last very long though, I believe, as I finished the first episode in little over an hour.

It's fun, thumbs up!

I have read negative comments regarding the Brave Dwarves series over the past few weeks and, not having downloaded the original, I did not expect these "packs" to work, so much so that the last 2 offered I did not install. I wish I had!!!

I expected this game too to not work as I thought "packs" were like plug-ins and as such not stand alone games. I was so wrong. This is one of the most enchanting, supremely beautiful games I have ever seen, the graphics are simply astonishing and I was totally mesmerised.

As WhiteRabbit says, going into detail about the game play itself is probably a waste as this has been commented on previously but personally I adore the game for the stunningly magical graphics. Even the way the moonshine floods in as the game is loading and the spotlight that is on your character as you move around is just gorgeous. Perhaps I'm biased as I adore The Moon and fairyland but this is the most entrancing game graphics-wise that I have ever seen.

This is a nice addition to the second Brave Dwarves series. I’m not going to write a long review simply because you just need to follow the link to the two previous giveaways for any info you want about the game. For newcomers to the Game Giveaway I’d certainly check this game out. For those who aren’t into platform games, this is one of the classics. Although a little dated by today’s standards, it’s a big improvement on the original Brave Dwarves series.

Follow this link to see my previous comments about the Brave Dwarves 2 Summer Pack edition of this game

Here’s another link to my comments regarding the April 7th giveaway, Brave Dwarves 2 Deluxe Edition. See comment #13 that also includes some cheat codes for those who like to cheat. Check comments #5 and #28 for extra insights on this game as well.

Have a great weekend. I’m sure these extra levels will sate the appetite of Brave Dwarves 2 fans. :) My children will certainly enjoy it.

I give this a 6 out of 10 for playability and fun (remember I’m biased against these sorts of games, so maybe it’s worth more). I personally don’t play platform games, but this has been an exception (for a short period, lol).

Oh yeah , yesterdays game was really fun and funky. Everyone please work less and try and play a little more. I also tried out the other game demo offered by the author, Retro Record. Very different.I loved smashing the records I didnt like. I am looking forward to seeing more from Joshua Debonis and his company Sortasoft. I also appreciated that he sent a thankyou to everyone who sent in comments. This web site could be a great starting point for new game developers. Now , I am going back to bed.....

Well ....no coments yet. It is 3:26 AM. The Brave Dwarves are at it again. I download this only for the sake of Thom and John who enjoy the little Buggers. I do not like games that dont use mouse controll. Having to use the keyboard is just too distracting. If the makers of this game want to improve thier games they need to address this issue. This offering is titled July pack. Whats next? August Pack, September pack, ice pack, back pack, rat pack , pack your bags and dont come back. I digress....Yawn....Its time to get back to bed. Have a great day everyone. Enjoy the free game. Hello to Whiterabbit, Swan, and Belgin Dude.
