Happy years passed as one day. Grateful people of the Fairyland composed numerous songs and tales about the dwarves' adventures. They showed their appreciation with royal feasts.

But the real hero cannot rest on the laurels, fighting for the weak is his destiny. Weapons are sharp, magic potions not sour.

To secure peace means to prepare for war... A new challenge for your favorite heroes! This quest is even more difficult! It's the most enthralling adventure you've ever gone through... This time the dwarves are to pursue evil not only in the dungeons, but in the open air too. The enemy has cherished ill-will and got slier. Lots of his minions are out to make people suffer. Is there a hero who can come to the rescue of poor people? Two heroes armed to the teeth, with the pockets full of gold to buy more weapons from the merchant. The dwarves' courage and your ingenuity will crack this quest, but not so fast.

You'll spend long hours fully enchanted by the game, and so will your friends.

This pack has 2 new episodes: Mushrooms harvesting and Sprint for gems.

I understand there are people that enjoy this game and I understand it must be kind of hard to get spyware and adware free games for free (that are not freeware) but this much brave dwarves??? We all appreciate the efforts of GGAOTD but most of us have had enough of the dwarves. Those who are really into it should buy them. I mean this is a site to get to know the game and maybe later buy a newer version. If you keep giving it away, then make it freeware and stop annoying the majority of us.
But I do respect and appreciate the efforts of GGAOTD (just wish you would keep the dwarves away from here for the next two months or so).

I like the BD games series but this one is defective, you can only use your attack once then it no longer works. Then all you can do is see how much stuff you can gather before you die from attacks you can do nothing about.
Pass on this one even if you like the BD games.
Thanks for the offer Gameover Games and the GGAOTD team.

woooooooohooooooooo i love the brave dwarves games and hope to see the new one released in time :) for some that don't like them i think it may be they don't have a gamepad controller and it is difficult to manuever around with using the keyboard i know when i downloaded my first one i didnt care for it due to the difficulty of moving but since investing in a controller i enjoy each and every one of them :) Thank you GGAOTD and gameover.

It always amazes me how many people complain about FREE software! If you don't like it, don't download it. It's that simple. I personally enjoy these games. There are a lot of them I'm not interested in but instead of complaining about it, I just don't download them. I just appreciate the programs I do enjoy. Thanks for all the games GAOTD, even the ones I haven't downloaded.

I can't help but feel suspicious of the many glowing comments, and extremely suspicious that half the people have given a thumbs up to the 15th rehash of the same program.

Brave Dwarves 2 is a great platform game. It kept my interest for just over two hours, which is a rare achievement for its genre. The only platform game to have captured my interest for longer than BD2 in recent years is N-game, a free flash game you can find with google. I am done with BD2 and have no interest in the level packs, but that does not mean the game itself is bad so I abstain from voting.

Although I can't see why anyone would pay 13 dollars for about 2 hours of play (1 hour per episode), obviously there are enough people willing to pay for additional levels that it's worthwhile to create more of them. I suppose churning them out is really cheap, and it's a good way to have a trickle of revenue that can be used to fund further development of the next generation of BD or other games.

I think offering level packs here is okay for "fillers" when nothing better is available, and certainly better than some other filler material which has been given throughout the latest months. The developer should though be aware that the ratings will sink as more people grow bored with the game (initially there was overwhelming positive response), which could give a wrong impression for people that are new to the site and lessen the good PR of giving away here.

I think there MUST be some sort of random level generator the devs have constantly running to pump out level pack after level pack at this rate. Enough already please!

Well we get another BD game. I like these games and I'm not complaining but haven't we had enough of the Dwarves? Belgium Dude was right about including a level editor. That would allow people to create their own levels and perhaps spare us from future BD releases. I would still like to request Gameover Games to post a game here other than the BD games. My Gameover Games folder has nothing but BD games. This will be my 9th game of this series. You have a lot of games maybe it's time you showed us something different.

Nightrider 1983 comment #32; GTA 1 & 2 are now freely available as freeware. I think the third one is also freeware now. I can't remember the link unfortunatley, but I'm sure if you google GTA then they will turn up. I actually bought them several years ago, including at least one m,ission pack (London 1969).

I happen to like the Brave Dwarves games and whenever I am able to get these downloads I snag them. I have four children and we have hours of fun with it trying to make sure we find everything possible. I have been disappointed in the past when I've missed them because I wasn't at the computer for the day. So THANK YOU GGOTD!

#46 - "Grandad" - You "have" to activate the program online - no getting around that.

You might want to try this: if both computers have USB slots, get yourself one of the little USB drives - they can be found from approximately $10 up.

Download the program to a folder on the USB drive. COPY the folder to one of the computers (doesn't matter which one).

Unzip the program, activate and install it.

Do the same thing with the USB drive (unzip, activate, install). Then delete the program from the USB drive as it won't be any good after the giveaway anyway.

Just make sure that after activating the kids machine you remember to take the modem cord with you!

I just got finished playing (for now). The download and activation went without any problems. The game runs well on my machine: AMD Athlon XP 2400+, 2.01 GHz, 1 GIG RAM, running Windows XP Home Edition service pack 2.

As soon as the game started I was under attack, which gave me an indication of how much I was going to need to be on my toes for this level. Figuring out where I am after a portal whisks me away has been a bit of a challenge even with the maps. I am having trouble finding the door to take me to the 7th level. Or the door to finish the level. lol! I have taken to writing down which portal goes where. I am hoping when I return to the game this evening I will be able to figure it out. All in all, very challenging, very entertaining, a good offering again from Gameover Games!

These games are ok for my grandkids but how do I save them to a disk and load them on the children's PC. They are not connected to the internet as they are too young.....5 & 7.
I would be happy to know the answer as they have tried them on my PC but I'm afraid like kids they just take over!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing repeats on some of the "Back For Treasures". Only have the full game, (which I bought), and expansion 4, 5, 10, and 11. I prefer those to the BD2 ones, although those are good for my grandkids. I'm hooked on Back For Treasures! Can you repeat for those of us that never got them??
Brave Dwarves - Back for Treasures Set #2
Brave Dwarves - Back for Treasures Set #3
Brave Dwarves Back for Treasures Set 6
Brave Dwarves Back for Treasures Set 7
Brave Dwarves Back for Treasures Set 8
Brave Dwarves Back for Treasures Set 9
Brave Dwarves Back for Treasures Set 12
And I heard that there's a Creepy Shadows coming out soon!!

complain about something optional AND FREE and it may eventually just stop coming. why complain & piss & moan when you can just pass it all by & not do anything?
while i may not download every single game every day i do appreciate what GAOTD is doing for us. even getting ONE game you like is better than none. that's one less game you spent your money on.

Thanks for the FREE offer GAOTD, but I'll pass on this game. I prefer more challenging, creative, and unique games. Some particular suggestions for games would be (Ingenious and Glyph from Merscom). Some fun game ypes would be some RPG, Shooter, Puzzle or Card games. I'd really like to see a Euchre or collection of 10 card games up here. Also, I encourage everyone to link to the site on they're myspace pages. That should help this site grow fantastically...

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!

My Grandson loves these harmless adventures. He'll play the heck out of them for a day or so, then get bored with them. Then I delete them.

Stop your whining, it could be worse -- we could get another garbage offering like crippled Morpheus with included Spyware. As insipid as they are, at least the Dwarves are not trashing anyone's computer.

#1: Your comment really belongs in the forums, as the instructions for posting here in the comments section clearly states. I hope you will post there so the comment will be taken seriously. I probably wouldn't be interested in the game you have suggested but maybe others here would. And the more companies GOTD can get signed up, the better. Happy Birthday, btw. :-)

I just downloaded this latest offering of Brave Dwarves and am off to install it and play it. I absolutely LOVE this series! I hope for many more to come. It is a great game and entertaining, regardless a person's age. I am 52 and look forward to each new offering with great anticipation. Just have to keep my fingers on the right place on the keyboard. Good for keeping up my coordination. lol!

Thank you sooooo much, GGOTD and Gameover Games. You all rock!

If you go over to Gameover-Games web site and click on the coming soon button, you will be happy to hear that there is another Brave Dwarves in production, called Creepy Shadows.

I have to agree with The Belgian Dude 'again' :) that there really should be an editor released by now, as the number of level packs even wins over the hyperballoid level packs (which I have adamantly tried to suggest on several occasions to the developers that they add new content and an editor). The cost of that game is now exceeding $200 if you purchase all the level packs. (That’s separately though...they now have offers for 12 of the packs at a massive reduction, but that doesn't appease those that purchased them as and when they were released...:( , and apart from a music pack and two free level packs, there is no new game material apart from different patterns to bust apart.

Still the basic concept of both these games is sound, and both are a cut above the games that are similar to them.

As always if you do want to check out some reviews just look back several days and you will find some links to several giveaways that contain reasonable reviews of this series of games.

This is definitely my last comment until I return from my vacation. Have a good one yourselves.

Back at the end of July :)

The Brave Dwarves is a mediocre game, at best. Releasing dozens of free levels for it ain't gonna fix the game. A level creator would be oh so nice. I played the first ones, (I think it was december 19th giveaway?)and I must say I wasn't impressed with the game at all. 26 expansions later, and now, Instead of loving it anymore, I hate the game with an everburning passion. There will be no end to this game. None. There will be a few more expansions for the summer, then a fall 1-9 expansion set, then, oh lets say, 15 for winter and 9 for christmas, then it starts all over again.
