The player gets bonus points and thus increases game level. Higher level means more bonus points and faster appearance of new chips. Besides, the player gets bonuses for removing chips – Clock, Bomb, Rainbow, Coin etc. Bonuses help the player by partially removing chips from the board.

I think this may have to do with processors of the 64bit flavour.....

Im not sure.. but if this is true , a processor driver update may solve this problem.

Crashed on XP. Uninstalled and reinstalled a few times to be sure, but it still crashed on all of our XP machines.

GOTD staff: Please let us know if you can do this again with a more consistent version. Thanks for everything. I'm not going to be bitter, this is the first problem I've ever had.

It su*ks and keeps crashing on Windows MCE. Tried 5 times and did not go farther than the main screen for any of the 4 games so uninstalled. Do not waste time on this one. Worst software I ever got from this website.

Yeah, unfortunately I need to add my vote that the program causes a crash of Explorer too. Whether trying to select OPTIONS or to select PLAY, it crashes and goes 'Boom'. It sure seems like a cool game and the music is great. Maybe the programmers can figure it out and maybe it'll be offered again. For what it's worth, I've got all the Windows Updates, I have 2 GB Ram and the latest DirectX drivers and I have the most up-to-date Windows XP Media Center version.

OK, everybody! I download trial 1.20 version and no problem, game running, but what we get for full today, version is 1.06!!! Maybe include a bug what corrected in 1.20 version.

I have the same problem being reported by many other users - the program crashes whenever trying to get beyond the opening window; "game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". Running XP Home Edition.

I have to chime too, none of them work past the title screen, any choice I make gives an exception.

Using XP SP2, with all the lastest drivers/patch here. First time I post , because its the first time any of the game here repeatedly chrashes.

And as other said David (#35) this site is not about freebies, but about publicity. If you reinstall windoze, game publishers will be more than happy to sell you any game you liked before the reinstall...

And thats alright by me.

Loads up real nice, but I can't click anything at all without it crashing. I love the games on this site, and this was the first one that crashed for me. Could be my system - it's older - or my video - it's also older. Oh well, I'm happy with my system, not planning to update this year, so one less game is okay. Thanks to those who run the site, and those who create the games! Great job, both with software and games and the freeware library!

Oh yes, and David Guzman, please don't be disillusioned. It seems that some of the game publishers actually have the idea that giving some of their products away will actually get some people to BUY some of their products. I know this seems far-fetched, but trust me on this one.

Same problem, when I select a game or options, it crashes: game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Second game that doesn't work. Do you people at Giveaway of the day actually test the software to see if it works ?

Got it installed fine, got it activated fine, gets to the title screen just fine, but from there I can do nothing without the game crashing.
So I went online to GameOver's site, and the demo works great.

Since I've downloaded virtually every game for the last 30 days, and this is the 2nd one that didn't work (and in both cases, the demo works fine, so I know it's not a hardware issue), I'd be interested to see if maybe the ADMIN or the GAMEOVER would leave a comment.

Alas, never be ungrateful. The rest of the games have been great fun, and you've given me plenty of other opportunities which would have been cost-prohibitive for me. So God bless you, GOTD.

Well David Guzman (#35), that isn't a problem. As when you do your application and system backup (including the registry), you can restore everything since your last backup. So you won't lose anything. Everyone is supposed to do this anyway, if you care what is on your computer that is. So there is nothing to worry about, right?

I installed this on two computers. On my main machine it won't work, it just crashes. It appears to be a problem with handling the display, maybe due to my dual monitor setup, or the widescreen primary monitor.

It runs just fine on my wife's more vanilla machine. Once it was running, it seems to be a pretty nice game.

got my first blue screen in the 2 years that I own my laptop... I could play the games (more then once) but at last exit, I got blue screen.
so is uninstalled now

but it were good games, only a little bit addictive
