Windows 7 or newer (32&64bit)
10.2 MB
$0.99
First thing first , the 10.2 Mb file that you download from GameGotd , is not the game , it's the installer .
When you use the installer , the actual game starts to download (size 14.8 Mb) .
My PC Specifications
Windows XP Pro 32bit , Intel Core2Duo E8500 3,16Ghz ,
4 Gb memory (DDR 2) , NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 768Mb .
Downloaded and installed without a problem .
System Requirements : Windows 7 or newer (32&64bit)
It works just fine under Windows XP !!!???
About the game ...
The game starts in windowed mode .
I see an image with the name of the game and some info about the developer of the game .
I've clicked everywhere with no effect .
I must press "Enter" in order to proceed .
I see a menu , BUT , no visible way to turn full screen on .
One way to change the size of the screen is to right click the games tab located at the systray and choose "size" .
Then you can "drag" the borders of the games window wherever you want .
I navigate the menu with the arrow keys to move and "enter" to choose .
In the "help" tab I see the controls of the game .
I see that the "SPACE" key is used for opening the door and not for attack as I saw in
the description of the game in the GameGotd's page .
I choose "New Adventure" to start a new game .
I see a small text as an intro story .
Pressing the down arrow key I change page .
The screen moves VERY slow .
I see a map , but all the names are in Russian .
So , it's useless to me .
I assume that the red arrow indicates the first level location .
I press the right arrow key and veeeeeeeeeeeeery slowly , the game starts .
I am in a yard .
I say yard because in the middle of the space , there is a big cactus .
So , it can't be a room .
In front of me , across the yard , I see an unarmed guard in front of a moving door .
I try to bypass him and enter the door but he blocks my way ... in silence ...
I return to my starting point .
To my right I see another unarmed guard and beside him , a sword .
I move straight to the sword and I step on it .
The sword appears in the bottom of my screen .
So , I guess , I have it in my hand .
I try to attack the unarmed guard using the "Space" key , because I don't know what ΛMK is , nothing happens ...
I press all the keys of my keyboard ... nothing happens ...
I pause the game and start "googling" like crazy for about an hour .
Result ... nothing useful ...
No video of the game on Youtube , no review , no walk-through with some info about ΛMK ...
I return to the game and start moving further in to the yard .
An armed with a sword and shield guard comes straight at me and attacks me .
Again , I press the "space" key like crazy BUT nothing happens and I die .
I start again and go straight to the armed guard .
This time , out of habit , I use the LMB .
In 4-5 hits the guard dies and I am down to 87% health .
So , 3 conclusions ...
1) I can't attack unarmed guards ,
2) the "space" key is NOT for attacking and
3) ΛMK is LMB .
Solving this riddle took a lot out of me , so I decided to quit the game , finish this post and get some rest .
It's almost 05:00 in the morning here in Greece .
A few words more about the game and I am off to bed .
The controls are very simplistic .
No jump , crouch or run .
The music in NOT annoying , that's a good thing .
The graphics are "old school" BUT not ugly .
In general , this game is Doom shareware (1993) , all over again ...
If you are like me , who played the original Doom , in a DOS machine ,
you will enjoy this game , BUT I have the feeling that it's NOT as good as DOOM was .
Let's face it ... nothing will EVER be as good as DOOM was ... :-)
I will try to play the game , no matter how much I hate WASD controls ... :-)

PS
When I've started to wright this post , no one had posted anything .
At some point I had to go AFK and then I forgot all about it ...
Then I've remembered and resume writing the post .
That happened 2-3 times ...
ARGH ... I hate old age ...
As soon as I've posted my comment I've noticed that WR had
posted his (as usual) excellent review ...
So , a lot of what I wrote are already mentioned in WR's review .
Sorry about that .
I hope people will find my post useful .

Whiterabbit-uk, I'm a retired computer programmer. In "the old days", we often used the ʌ caret symbol to mean the Ctrl key. Ie, ʌC would mean Ctrl-C.
