Welcome to a grim dystopian future. A totalitarian State controls every aspect of private and public life. Laws are oppressive. Surveillance is total. Privacy is dead. You are the State-installed manager of an apartment building. Your daily routine involves making the building a sweet spot for tenants, who will come and go. However, that is simply a facade that hides your real mission... The State has appointed you to SPY ON YOUR TENANTS! Your primary task is to covertly watch your tenants and eavesdrop on their conversations. You must BUG their apartments while they're away, SEARCH their belongings for whatever can threaten the authority of the State, and PROFILE them for your superiors. Congrats to all the winners. :)

It would have been nice to have won this one though because so far every game offered with a Steam key here on the game giveaway project I'd already purchase before the offer. The only one I didn't have at the time was the very first one, but I had a promise of a key via one of the indie bundles I'd purchased and got that key a few days later. I never have been lucky with such things. The only raffle I've ever won was one while I was in the army thirty odd years ago. I won a ladies silver colored lamb skin evening purse with silver strap chain, which was presented in front of all the troop and which I got a load of stick for, lol.

Because the odds of winning were about 15 to 1 against, I decided to purchase it yesterday while it was still on sale, good job I did. I was going to give the key to someone deserving if I won one. :)

Ah, just seen an email from the giveaway team telling me they had sent me a complementary key for posting the review. Thankfully Valve now have a good refund policy, so i should be able to get my money back. Yeah. thanks Team, very much appreciated.

Thanks Mark. I've been so busy at home recently, with my sons education, medical problems etc . I keep forgetting that you use my Whiterabbit-moonrising email. I did check my Whiterabbit-uk email just in case you had sent me a key, but didn't think to check the Whiterabbit-moonrising email. I keep forgetting that we agreed to use that one. (Damned memory problems. Hopefully this will now stick in my memory) . I ended up purchasing the game just before the sale ended yesterday. That said, I can get a refund if I apply now, so will use the key you sent me. thanks. :)

I played the limited demo version before it went out. If you don't get a free key, it is worth its price, really.

It's rare that I don't already own a game that has been given away here, this is one of those so I'm hoping to win a key, but the odds are less than usual because of the number of keys to entries. At the moment I have 29 entries (I missed at least one day). with 9722 entries so far, that equates to almost 325 entries per key. With 29 entries that gives me a less than 10% chance of winning a key, (more exactly 8.92% chance) i.e. a 1 in 11/12 chance. That said, I'll happily pay the price if I don't win. looks like a decent game. I hope we get the results before the sale ends (20% off till Monday evening). not had the pleasure of playing the demo though.

whether I win a key or not, I want to thank Alawar and the GGOTD team for the 30 keys. This looks like an intriging game, one I will enjoy playing regardless of winning a free key.

you should change this page to contest of the day instead of giveaway of the day, there aren't any more giveaway here any more, just people competing against each other for limited keys in a contest.

Since the process of joining a Steam group is a bit confusing (because of our internal and Steam's security measures as well), we've made up a short guide on this action.

DISCLAIMER:

Please note, we NEVER sell or share your personal information (email addresses, facebook, steam accounts, etc) with third parties.

First you need to sign in to the Giveaway of the Day widget. Please note that the key will be sent to the email address you are using to sign in. And here’s the reason why some of you can’t get the points. The thing is that when you sign in using an email address, the widget gets the information on other accounts you previously used in combination with this email address, i.e. if you’ve ever signed into the widget with example-1@example.com, and joined a group using a steam account “MySteam1”, you need to use the same combination of email address and Steam account in the future. Otherwise the records will mess up. This is a security measure to prevent cheating (if you have several Steam accounts, you won’t be able to get +10 or +15 for the same email address).

OK, now that you are signed in, you can check which Steam account is associated with the email address you used, by hovering your mouse over the Steam icon at the top right corner of the widget. If there is no icon, that means that no Steam account is associated with this email address and you will be asked to sign into the widget with your Steam account later.

Now click on the action button (Join a Steam Group) and then Join Group. The browser will open a new page on Steam. Sign into your Steam account and click on the green Join Group button. Then get back to the Giveaway Page.

Was looking at the demo and it seems very intriguing, a refreshingly different twist on a game plot. this is what makes it so enticing. I hope to get one of those licenses to try it. Thanks for the opportunity.

As of the moment of posting this it is not released yet, it will be on 9 november though. If the videos are any indication (and with the new sceenshot and vieo poicy Steam has instated after the NMS debacle it should) it has a unique look that I kind of like. I played the demo a bit (avaiable on steamthrough the game store page) and it is a real "big brother is watching you" game. Simple to play but I assume it wil not be that simple to complete. Could be fun, have to play the demo a bit longer I guess
