Experimental electricity-eating beetles have been released from a top secret laboratory. Sling colorful bugs at each other to make sets of three like-colored beetles, and prevent a much-dreaded infestation. Journey from the city to countryside while dealing with bees, butterflies, centipedes, and persnickety hard-shell bugs. Hilarious animated cartoons tell the story of Lylek, the electrician, and Martina, the insect expert, as they try to solve the buggy mystery before the lights go out for good!

HI! The game downloaded quickly and opened as fast.
I felt a strong pull with the cursor and clicked off the 3D graphics., though they are very nice!
Game play is easy. I played the quest mode and levels move along fast. So far the sort of
power ups, have not done much for the game play.
Thanks for another good game and have a good rest of the weekend, Lee

Fine Windows 10 x64 Pro. Easy d/l install. Sliders for music & sound. Game not too taxing at first. After a few levels the speed of balls in Classic did speed up a bit but by
then you've remembered the tricks. Thus far seems to play fairer than most of this genre. Thanks for positive comments & the high like score. Been off on this genre but this one is a keeper for now.

I'd like to install this but I have Kaspersky as my anti-virus. I have turned it off as far as I can and I can still not install the game. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can turn off Kaspersky to install the game? Please let me know as soon as possible.

haven"t been downloading games from myplaycity for awhile on here because the game activates and that is it NO game downloads. Tried again today and the same thing so I'm done wasting my time downloading games from myplaycity

The first time I tried to download, it was so impossibly s - l - o - w that I cancelled it. That sometimes happens early on, when there are a lot of people downloading at once, so I tried again a good while later - and it arrived in a flash! Unzipping and Installing went quickly, no problems there on Win 10.
The game itself is a familiar type, but has two modes - one gives a storyline as well as the straightforward rolling marbles / balls / beetles game, but I haven't gone that way yet. The standard game is fine - colourful, not too fast to begin with (although I bet it speeds up later!) and fun to play if you like these, which I do. It's easier than one or two I could mention, so far.
There's not a lot more I can say about it, but it is a bright and cheerful way of passing some tea-break time. Not sure I'd play it for hours at a time, but then I don't play those heavy-duty games anyway. A good game for a dull, wet afternoon - thank you to GGAOTD, MyPlayCity and of course Whiterabbit, who is (I hope) enjoying a well-deserved holiday.

Fyi folks, checked the Big Fish reviews. Not played much there. Only 4 reviews. a 5, 4, 3, and 2 star. The 2 and 3 didn't recommend, though the 3 just said they didn't like ball matches because found them all too hard, but otherwise liked this one.

Oops, sorry, 3 out of 4 recommended it.

I think this is the same game as "Tumblebugs". which is a fun game for children and adults. I do agree that the colors of the beetles are hard to distinguish from each other as the game progresses and there are more different colored beetles.

Beetle Bomp
A MPC game that downloaded and installed well on Win 10 x64 ;)
And it is a matching ball type game from Twilight Games, using marching 'Beetles' instead of balls, in the vein of 'Sky Kingdoms' from Alawar Games, given away here a longtime ago, and a game which we've come to absolutely love!
Plays well for both of us so far, with no glitches, but the loaded 'beetles' are often hard to tell the color of! And we both have good color perception. Using stars and coin type objects as rewards, and some bonuses are tricky, but do make use of the tutorial type help feature, which is pretty extensive so far.
Don't know if the reward system is liked as much as Sky Kingdoms, where you buy yours with points, but so far a fun little game that plays decent, so if you like these types of games, give this one a try, and a small caveat, Sky Kingdoms took awhile to learn properly, so we will give this one a bit to see if we end up loving like that one!
Thank you GGAOTD and MPC for these games! It is appreciated ;)

I attempted to install this game, but right after the Setup file verifies availability here, it throws up a "Beetle Bomp has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. Ah well.

Scott M, I tried the trial version first from Bigfish to see if I liked it. It installed and played just fine from there. But when I downloaded GGOTD/MPC version here I got an "access violation" error when I tried to launch the gamer and found that running the Windows compatibility troubleshooter as an admin corrected the problem. The game needs to run as Windows 7. So I'm hoping the same fix will resolve your problem as well. Just right-click the game shortcut to run the compatibility troubleshooter and check off "needs additional permissions" to complete it.

Hi hi, everyone. Quick note share a link to a series of "watch someone play" videos on Youtube. No affilation with the channel, just the only one I found:
Beetle Bomp Part 1 by Dot Gaming
The animation of the little legs made me shut the video down immediately. From blurbs on other sites, there are also other creepy crawlies within like centipedes and butterflies, so if bugs = ick is also an issue for you, be forewarned. Sorry for not being more helpful; it's a phobia thing with me, even it's just graphics.
For everyone else, it's a like a bubble popper or Luxor type game. The download size is small, so it's worth a quick try for Match-3 genre fans.
Thanks to GoTD and the developer for today's giveaway.
PS: Have fun on your vacation, Mr. Whiterabbit. :)

The game downloaded and installed fine on my windows 10 computer. (I always need to turn off my antivirus (AVG) in order to install. )
I really like this game. It is on the order of Luxor and Xuma. Only having bugs that you have to match the color of to destroy them. There is a nice little story that goes along with it.
It gives you the option at the beginning of playing in story mode or regular mode. I chose the story mode. I did find that some of the instructions at the beginning where a bit confusing, but since I enjoy and have played these types of games I really didn't have any problems with that, but I could see someone who hasn't played much of this genre of games could have a bit of a problem knowing what the bonuses do and the general playing of the game.
The stories come around after the 4th or so round of bugs (I didn't count) and it gives you the option to skip if you don't want to see it. Although it doesn't give you the option to click to make it faster. I wanted to see the story but read faster than the time it gives before going to the next panel.
This is a game that I will be keeping and will play often. Thank you Game giveaway of the day & my play city for this and other games that you have offered here. Thank you whiterabit for your moderation. I hope you have a good vacation:)
