I do believe those who complain about "whiners", I shall call them the "complainers", are much worse than those who "whined". At least the "whiners" are providing valuable feedbacks for the developers and head ups for those who are about to download the games. On the contrary, the whiner-complainers are just attacking freedom of speech and expression. Im sick of hearing them attacking other people's opinion. When they argue that it's a free site so don't complain, just leave then I can reply likewise its a free country, if you don't like how they voice their opinion then just leave, don't complain either!

I thought the game played well - nothing sluggish in the controls. So those of you having problems - maybe it's your machine. It didn't take long to figure out how the controls worked and what the object was. But I agree, there should have been some kind of instructions. If you watch, the colored lines from each side indicate an intact link - you just have to join them in the middle or start from the end of one side and make your way to where the colored link ends on the other side by flpping the tubes. It's really not a bad little game.

#20 You say, "...sure this game is kid friendly but I can point you toward much better kid friendly games." Where? Give us a hint. BTW, it's not your interweb and in your 5th paragraph, it's "hear" not "here"! And there is no cause to call anyone a moron, especially when #19 never said GGOTD made these games in the first place. It's fine to post criticisms of a game, but there is no need to be insulting anyone. The re-post at #26 was right-on.

#28 The controls don't only move one way; they have a 360 degree range. The fact that you can't always get them to meet is the what makes the game interesting - finding the right ones to turn to complete the circuit.

#29 The pipes are aways mostly connected - just complete the circuit. A lot of times you can make it on one straight line - you have to scan across each time for the quickest route. I also would prefer the choice of not being timed, especially in a game that kids will play - it is very frustrating to be interrupted just when you are getting the hang of playing.

As always, thanks GGOTD for bringing us a good selection of games for all ages. Only 34 comments so far, seems most of the whiners are still off playing Jets'n'Guns! That's where I'm headed ...

This is ridiculous. It's a free giveaway. NO reason for people to freak out if the game sucks, and no reason for other people to yell at the people who are upset because the game sucks simply because they don't like "whiners" or whatever you want to call them...

ABOUT THE GAME: I do believe it is quite poor, as with other DoubleGames releases. I wonder how many more DoubleGames releases we're going to be offered.. Not recommended.

The music is probably the worst I've ever heard. I can't get it to advance past level 1. Other than that, seems like a decent game, but definitely for a younger crowd.

Just because somone doesnt sugarcoat there criticism doesnt meen there beeig rude,game developers like this sort of thing,Its a challenge for them,to ty and make these games better.

So far all of there games have been blatant clones with barely anything but fancyer graphics added on to them.

So this criticsm is neccesary,so far they have yet to present us with something up to par with other games mentioned on this site.

Developers need to hear whats wrong with their software[obviously if its on here, it isn't selling like the author wants it to. thats why you'll never see alawars titanic on here for giveaway]
keep it constructive such as controls lag, max rez is too low, graphics need work etc. . .
comments such as "this game sucks" doesn't tell the author anything except that particular user didn't like it but not why he didn't like it.

Needs some work... Looks like this could be a good game for kids, but the graphics are still a little dull. I would liven them up with a better color scheme than simply making the grass green and the sky blue. Fine tuned controls and gameplay are necessary to make this a worthy stand alone retail quality game. Right now it's at free internet game quality, nothing more. There's better games to play for free online.

The gameplay of this game simply isn't up to par.

Kids game or not, free giveaway or not, if you (the reader) do not like negative comments or not; it's not worth the download IMHO. (It shouldn't even be sold.)

Well, unless it's beta software and beta-testers are needed. To get the gameplay fine tuned, for instance... (Still, I wouldn't give one penny to a company for this kind of software.)

Half of the people who "whine" or praise like you've never seen such before aren't offering the company that makes this game any help to do better.

The graphics are rather weird, slightly pixelated. When they say "the balloon" in the instructions, it's unclear which balloon- the screen is filled with them. Most of the time the pipes are already mostly connected for me. Thought the turning speed was okay. Overall, confusing.

@ those who say this game is too easy, why complain there's a timer then?

Didn't like this game at all and uninstalled it right away. I didn't find that the response was all that sluggish, but the connecting pipes only rotate in one direction - I've played much better versions of this type of game. I realize this is free, but still - not very impressed today. 2 of 10

I like it, and I'll show it to my kids.
No violence, nice puzzle, maybe a litte bit to difficult for my kids,

#20, the fact that you call me a moron just demonstrates your level of maturity. I did not say that GGOTD made these games--I mentioned the companies who donated the software. Perhaps you should learn to read what's written before you start throwing insults. Who's the moron?
Of course, there's nothing wrong with gving negative feedback, but the point is that useful criticism can be given without rudeness and hyberbole, which is all some people seem capable of.

I understand this is meant for feedback, for the game, but just try not to be rude is all. xD

People the games are free. DO NOT COMPLAIN LIKE THAT. God, your getting a new choie everyday, just be grateful. I now have a such a large collection of games, I have one for every mood. :)

DoubleGames is a peculiar company to me. Their graphics usually look like the games will be lame baby games, but I've found a number of their games fun to play. My advice, try it, see if you like it and if you don't, uninstall. Thanks game giveaway of the day!

At the multitude of casual indie games for sale,alot of them are clones of other games,some say that this is bad,others say it just depends on if you add something new.

I can get a game thats better than this on the internet,or find a freeware game that is better than this,thus this is what makes the game so pitiful,no extra modes,no graphical customization,no rewards,no powerups,just straightfoward gameplay,now if you please,tell me what is good about the game???

First off some advice to this company,its Ok to clone games,just make sure to do something original with them. Dont just add on some new graphics and effects,add some powerups! Not to mention that you need to work on controls,it seems that this area is what people complain about most in your game. Try it and make sure as a gamer that you would want to buy it for what price it was set at. $15 is way to much for a simple arcade game with no new or extra feutures besides the graphics. Try $5 with this type of game,thats worth it IMO

jetsNguns was the best download this month IMO,great action,Good music,Great graphics,long replay value,and it was addictive as heck.

Oh dear, what a lot of moaners. It's a simple little game, reminiscent of Rocket Mania (with the dragons and rockets, which I prefer) but it's fun, especially for younger children. And it's free. Nobody's forcing you to download and play it.

To #14...Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I can respect that you like doublegames offerings for your kids and am happy that these games work out for you. I do not consider my comments above(#6) to be 'rude' in any way, what I wrote is just straight-forward honest feedback(which is what we are supposed to give back in return for being able to get these games for free).

PS. I didn't like it and I didn't download it, but I do appreciate the GREAT service that both Game(OTD) and Giveaway(OTD) offer and am a faithful attendee to both sites(Thanks GOTD).

PPS. TO EVERYONE: If you weren't aware, their is a companion site to this one that is 'Giveaway' of the day at which they giveaway free software programs...some of these are truly AWESOME so if you haven't checked that site out, make sure you do so.

#14: your argument is circular. I don't know I don't like it UNTIL I download it, play with it, and know why I don't like it. So saying 'Don’t like it, don’t download it.' doesn't actually make any sense.

If no one complains, and says, 'Hey, as a user of yours, I really don't like this,' then GGotD and GoTD have to work on their site stats, which will only drop off *after* a person has left, instead of getting them the feedback they need to retain people. As a web developer, I'd be thrilled to get instant 'I like this,' 'I don't like this,' feedback on my sites.

Oddly, the so-called 'whiners' always complain about the *software*; I rarely see them saying 'Boy, you person who likes this, you're clueless!'. The people who complain about the so-called whiners, however, are attacking people for sharing their opinions. Think on that.

Well, I don't think they will have C&C 3 here anytime soon.

I've given almost every one of their games a try, and this one is even worse than some of the first couple ones they offered.

Yesterday was a winner - today was just another maudlin, pedestrian deleted file.

I love Rocket Mania, but I have to agree that the controls in this game are sluggish. Whenever other people say this, I assume that they have old computers or that they're gaming addicts who notice tiny nuances that casual gamers like myself would never notice or care about, but this time, they're right. I found it frustrating (my fingers itched to grab the tubes and turn them by hand ), and I think the fact that it's timed would make it difficult for young children to play.

I play the same game over at splashspot.com it's called water park and one can win prizes! Thanks GGOTD but I agree with some others DoubleGames are not up to your standards (or ours).

PLady100 there is an option to not place icons on the desktop. If you uncheck it the program icon will appear in the program directory without all of the extra icons that you hate.

To 6 and 7, yeah I love this site...but DoubleGames just really stinks.

My, My, did everyone get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Plenty of games I've paid for have put their 'See more games' icos onto my desktop too. It's very simple - right click, select delete. Also, I've paid good money for some real clunkers & you know software cannot be returned to the store. But here, if you don't like the game, simply uninstall it, you don't need to be so mean about GAOTD's efforts and generousity. Thanks for letting ME rant.

Graphics are terrible, plus am I blind I don't see what controls to use, where the heck are the instructions. No matter I deleted the game. DoubleGames stink. Sorry, I love this site but there games are just terrible.

DOUBLEGAMES..........I will no longer even give their games a chance. They do have guts though, actually charging money to people for the games that I have seen is nothing short of gutsy. Seriously GOTD, get clear of these DoubleGame Hacks before the inadequacies of their games have a poor reflection on this site.

PS. I would rather download original atari games like 'COMBAT' everyday instead of something from DoubleGames.

Movement is too slow, especially for it to be a timed game. I would like there to be an untimed choice so one could play the same game longer, instead of being abruptly interrupted and prompted to enter your name. I wouldn't pay for this one. And, as usual....

My usual rant that goes with ALL games downloaded these days. KEEP THE EXTRA CRAP OFF MY DESKTOP!!! Adding your extra 'download more games, etc' icons to my desktop only infuriates me. The more times I see them, the more it burns your name into my memory, ensuring that I will NEVER pay for ANY of your games.

I love this game, it reminds me of the game Rocket Mania that I bought a long time ago. Except this is for younger kids, I think.. Thank you GGOTD. I sure appreciate all the free games.
