Immers in the world of an amazing library turned into a maze of bookcase.

This is not just another fairy tale. It's a saga about the everlasting battle between good and evil, and you are the main character. Since earliest times the glorious clan of dwarves is standing guard over the subterranean world. And this work is hard and all-important indeed. Only the few know that all the worlds are connected to each other with secret passages. Most of these passages are underground, hidden from strangers' eyes.

The dwarves are guarding the passage secret and keep peace in their world... And now the world shuddered. For the majority it is just a natural disaster. But we know: the world substance is torn, it's time to take arms, go down and stop the invaders.

Your mission is to purge the dungeons from the evil and gather as much treasures as you can - it will take plenty of gold and diamonds to repair the seal on the Gate between the worlds.

The Warrior and the Wizard are the greatest heroes of their people. What do you prefer - slashing steel or will-power? Make your choice and start your journey.

Remember, the fate of many worlds depends on you...

Brave Dwarves - Back to treasures is a completely new product. The game offers 100 levels, hard to forget. Now the password system became handier. Hope someone is still reading this thread; there aren't any other support forums for these games. Game worked great the first few days. But now when you run it, all the gems and potions and keys are missing from the screen. Only monsters appear. Any fix?

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but my favorite oldschool games were the Dragon Warrior Series from Nintendo. I never appreciated game play until I came upon those. Then came Might and Magic from Sega. I wish somebody could remake these games and put them up for free downloads. They would have my undying love. Fight on brave warriors and never give up.

And to Duh (comment 18), of course it's a free registered giveaway of the day. It's a full version game, that happens to have expansion packs because it's good enough or popular enough to warrant it. How absurd to say that it isn't. Man I've got so many games that have expansion packs and I've gladly spent more to get more pleasure out of the game.
If everything was free we firstly wouldn't get the quality we have now, as making a game popular is an incentive to the developer to make some well earned cash. Also if everything was given away free, where would the incentive be? (okay some games have editors and a large fan base, such as richochet or one of the FPS games such as BF2 that has over a hundred modding teams and over 500 fan made maps, but that's totally different, because it's a community of online gamers ..I digress, so will close... sorry. You need to stop acting like your online name suggests. It's not funny.

Just a note to remind Geoff (comment number 6) that our memories of games gone by. That is games older than about 10 years, or probably less is that they were far better than they really are. Memories only seem to store the good bits. Graphics today are far superior. Okay, graphics alone don't make a game play better, but it is nice to see the superb graphics in these platform games, and for me an I bet many others they do add something to the gameplay. To be honest I've always disliked platform games apart from the odd one, Elves for example from the late 80's, another commadore 64 game that was also available for the early 286 and 386 computers. The pixels on these early games must have looked pretty naff by todays standards, but at the time with only 800x600 screens or less they would have looked not too bad, but how you can compare them to todays platform games. Mmmm, yes the game play isn't much different, but give me a present day game to one from 20 years ago any day. And beleive it or not, after watching my son and daughter and two of their friends play these games on two of the computers in our study, I have an hankering to play them myself, especially the newer and more graphically pleasing Dwarves 2 that was offered a few days ago. I may even buy the expansion packs. Is this a new beginning for me, a devout arkanoid fan, who has shied away from almost all arkanoid games apart from the occasional oddity like Gish, or classics like RiskII.

Guys keep up this hotch pot of genres. I,m being converted into an all rounder after 30 years of playing the original Taito Breakout and the hundreds of clones both 2D and 3D that have been spawned from it.

Rock on 'GOTD' team

It seemed to freeze at the welcome screen. Finally it moved on, but I decided not to give it a try. It wouldn't let me alt-tab out of it when I thought it wouldn't work. I have plenty of games that won't act like that.

Not to mention that this isn't really the 'free' version. When you exit it asks if you want to buy 'expansion' packs. I don't consider this a true giveaway of the day.

Is it just me or does anyone think that all the brave dwarves games should have been side scrollers as opposed to single screen by single screen...

I'd just like to note that the 'website' URL in the information points to the wrong page. Here is the correct one:

Have a nice day!

Laurie, try restarting your computer and then restarting the game. If you still have a problem, maybe uninstall and reinstall the game. Hope that maybe helps.
