Atlantis: Mysteries of Ancient Inventors is a Hidden Object game where the main character Anna discovers a fragment of an ancient map that leads to Atlantis and treasure.

Installation:

Atlantis: Mysteries of Ancient Inventors downloads to a 94.8 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set-up file and a read me). To install Atlantis: Mysteries of Ancient Inventors click on the orange key file labelled set up; do not click on the setup.gcd file. This is a security file that contains Themida code. Those with multiple hard drives can save games on any drive they wish, just change the default installation path. The newly installed game is 98.5 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed by the user if preferred:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Atlantis - Mysteries of Ancient Inventors

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop, three of which can be safely deleted (Play Online Games, MyPlayCity Games and shortcuts to a free online game which vary each week). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you uncheck the box when the ''additional tasks'' window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window)

t's never known for a certainty where one can find the greatest adventure. Even a very simple day-to-day activity can spark one's life. Atlantis. Mysteries of Ancient Inventors suggests that sometimes all you need to get into a splendid journey is to visit your relatives. Especially, if your grandfather is a great archaeologist who is, by the way, widely known due to mysterious artefacts. The main character of Atlantis. Mysteries of Ancient Inventors used to have a slow and pretty boring life until she goes to see her relative who's been working as an archaeologist with new excavations. The area has been quite explored and nothing was found out there so the granddad asks his favourite granddaughter, who has an archaeological experience, to help him because of lack of skilled workers. Having nothing better to do, she accepts his offer and gets involved in excavations. It seems to be the very boring piece of work until, suddenly, the girl finds an ancient map. She dares to assume that it could be a renowned lost map belonged to people of Atlantis who were famous having the keys to the mysteries of the Universe. A legend says that once Elders of Atlantis became aware of the catastrophe that would happen to Atlantis and put an end to their civilization, they decided to store the most valuable treasures. Due to lack of time there was only a single map that shows the way to the lost treasure. Although her grandfather doesn't believe in this legend, he agrees to help the girl in unexpected excitement journey. Bring a piece of sudden adventure in your life with Atlantis. The Game:

is a standard Adventure Hidden Object Game. Unfortunately, I’ve only had a short time to play the game today due to family commitments; so haven’t prepared a full review. The images and video links I’ve posted should give you a good idea as to whether the game is worth downloading. I found the first few HOG scenes easy enough to find and the mini games (a map and word search, reasonably challenging

Conclusion:

I’ve only played this game for a short time. My initial feelings are that is a decent HOG game worth downloading. Sorry for the lack of details.

Having problems installing today's game?

If you have a problem installing or activating or getting Atlantis: Mysteries of Ancient Inventors to work please visit the problems section, which you can find in the FAQ's thread HERE. Also read through the community’s comments because sometimes fixes have already been posted. The main issue we have is with the giveaway wrapper, which uses a Themida based code to protect the games executable. Unfortunately, Themida is also used to hide malware; so, as a precaution, some security software may block the installation and sometimes even delete the executable file. Blocking or deletion is usually determined partly by the way your computer is set up. Usually you'll get a message saying ''the file is corrupted'', but, the files are okay. There are a couple of things you can do to overcome this issue. The first is to reboot in safe mode with networking, install the game then reboot, or secondly you can (at your own risk) temporarily turn off your security, install the game, then turn your security back on. A note of reassurance to those that choose the latter and quicker method. The game giveaway team have been giving away games for over a decade (Dec 2006 & prior to that, via the main site 2 or 3 times weekly from Oct 2006 to Dec 2006) and have 'NEVER' given away a game infected with malware; they always test every giveaway with several of the top anti-malware suites to ensure all games are free from malware.
