For the developers:
It loaded easily and plays without glitches on AMD Sempron Processor 3200+;1.00 GHz, 1.43 GB of RAM;OS Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002; Service Pack 2;I use Mozilla Firefox for download (I've heard others mention this although I don't know why). My only beef is that Realore will only accept download into the Programs folder of C drive. I have a separate "My Games" folder in C and have to move the files from them later - but that's a personal choice :)

I saw the copyright date on this was 2002 - 2006. That may explain why Aqua Pearls is so professionally rendered. Nice menus, easy to navigate, adjustable sound, skins, multiplayer, autosave scores for the option to return to previous game or start new one - all of which I have come to expect in Realore games. The little guy seems a bit more subdued this time,eh? I at least find him less annoying and thus can play this one longer than others in the Aquatic series.

For the players:
Whew! This game made me sweat. On the surface it looks like other "fire the ball to remove others of the same color in the line before they reach their destination" games. Then in the Strategy mode there are stationary bubbles containing little fish. The goal this time is simply clear the board of all fish by bursting while two of the same color are under one of the little guys. Easy? Ha! If you wait because you spy that opportunity to score and free a fish, before you know it, the bubbles have wound their way in front of your intended target. I guess that's why the developers called this one strategy?

For those having display problems - I tried it last year and worked through all suggstions from real Arcade and from Realore. No Luck I had bought it for my previous computer but my new one just cannot display it properly.

Not for people who've played Zuma. The pace is enormously slower; I turned up all the difficulty settings I could find, but found that I quickly lost interest. It just doesn't present a very big challenge.

As others have mentioned, it's alright for kids. Personally, I'd be thrilled to see more games like the one featured yesterday. Perhaps a bit less gory, though. Alien Shooter featured blood levels high enough to be considered parody.

I had similar display problem as some of you had, could only see between 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock of the game screen. My guess is the problem is caused by lack of video RAM. My computer's is only 32MB RAM, whereas the game requires 64MB RAM.

Great game for small children. It will teach them to focus and aim. Zuma is too fast for small children and they get frustrated. This one goes slower and is not 'stressful'. I like this game even tho I'm not a child. It's good relaxation.

Thumbs up and thank you GOTD and Realore!!!

Cute game, Thank you GOTD! This is a cute game for younger children. It will help them learn to focus and aim and it's slow enough. Zuma is a great game, but moves faster than little children can think/act sometimes. I may not play it as much as Zuma but it will be good when I want to relax and not get all tensed up trying to get everything done before time runs out like on Zuma. Good graphics and sound.
Thumbs up from me!

Hey, GAOTD... luv the little Aqua character. Thanks again! Luv all the zuma clones. As for remarks like #11 and similar... Man! What you see is what's in your own mind to begin with. Good grief. That reminds of the lady who complained about word-finding games, because they hid "dirty" words in there for her to find. LOL! Toooo much. I'm sure the grandkids would enjoy it, innocent game that it is.

for anyone moaning about a game being the same, it's just like having Turtle Odyssey and Scuba In Aruba, both look very similar, may even be the same layout, but with different characters/baddies that act a bit differently. I do enjoy the poppers (Zuma etc), but Dragon (or it may be Dynasty, I'm not sure) enables you to place the balls, rather than shoot them, and another different one is Karu, which has balls falling from above and then you have to drop them onto the "snake" below before it reached the surface. I would be more annoyed if the games looked exactly alike except in a superficial way.

Game loaded ok but there is a large triangular area on the left side and a smaller triangular area on the right side which seems to be a blind or dead spot. When cursor goes over it, it disappears. Any words or bubbles in that area are cut off. By looking at it, it looks fine. It's only when there are words or bubbles that the area is inaccessable. Does anyone have any ideas? I've downloaded several games and have never had any problems. Love this website!!

with all the posts so far, I haven't read them all, but I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, which I got as well when I downloaded this same game from bigfishgames:
it activated fine, but when it loads, the background is okay, but the foreground (overlay?) is cut on the diagonal, which means that I can't see half of the screen, from about 2 o'clock, to 7 o'clock on the left top corner of the screen. All of the moving images work, but it's like they go through a "radio-dead" area, then emerge again.
Unfortunately, as it is Good Friday and I'm off elsewhere this afternoon, I probably won't be able to get any solution someone might have before the game goes off the giveaway site. (5pm eastern Australia)

I didn't download todays free game, but thats Ok. I seldom ever do download everything even though it is free here. Just wanted to say, thanks GAOTD. for being here and providing us with another free game.
I agree with the others here about you complainers. Get the hell over yourselves already. The software is given freely and the choice is yours as to weather you download or not. If your not happy with what is offered by the nice people of GAOTD. and the software vendor, by all means, go spend money on something.
Stop the B!t**ing and stop asking GAOTD. to furnish anything. They do a great job all by themselves without some cry baby complaining here daily.
Take the free download of the day or don't download it. Man, what a hard concept for you little cry babies to understand. IT'S FREE !!!!!! FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE.

Realore and GOTD come through again! Nice little diversion -especially for the young ones. I can't for the life of me understand what all the complaining is about. The cover art reminds me of a game we used to play when I was a Cub Scout called Taffy Pull. Turns out it's an excellent quality Zuma clone that'll have you hooked in no time flat! Thanks to all involved!!!

thanks for the game!! I enjoy these and see no porno references! Guess my mind doesn't go there that easy. I like the Zuma clones and having different varities, makes having just one -- not so boring! I have been playing fizz ball at real arcade the past few days. It is hilarious. Put out by "grubby games". maybe you could see what games they will offer. And you know when those war/alien games are offered i see no point in making a comment that those are not the games I want (waa waa) I just chose to not download that day! Go figure?! Thanks again for your website! I really appreciate it!!

I see the duplicate complainers brigade (DCB’s) are out in force again complaining yet again about replicating games. If there were an unlimited supply of different stles of game, then we wouldn’y see so many similar games. Remember this site is picking up new consumers every day, so they haven’t had the pleasure of receiving any of these zuma style games, ore for that matter any other style of game such as my favorite. Most arcade fans love getting different versions of the same game. It really is sad to see such unconstructive comments. Negative comments that actually say something like, ‘hey this software crashes, or, I can’t register it are fine, but the repetitive whining of those who should be grateful for such an oppertunity to get free arcade games, that usually are much better than the freeware alternatives. If you find it too repetitive come back another day.

As for my constructive comment, it installs perfectly, and plays like a dream. My daughter loves these games (6 years old), this particular theme is perfect for her. It’s mose controlled and you have the option to play it in full screen or windowed modes. There are three dificulty settings, easy, medium and hard, so even the most skillful of players should find some gameplay in this simple game. My children couldn’t cope with anything other than easy. The bubbles can be changed from solid to semi transparent and you also have the option to play the game in four different modes, Puzzle, adventure, strategy and endless. This gives a lot of scope to the gameplay. Not like some zuma style games. You can also adjust the sound and music volume. The intro music is almost classical in form, and very pleasant to listen to. The playing music is okay, but after a while I found it a little monotonous. Nice game for children and adults alike.

Ooops, before complainers rush in crying a correction I did forget about Dragon offered on March 12, another Zuma clone.

But that's still 2 Zuma clones this month vs. 6 alien shooters. Butterfly Escape was last month.

Something to add on today's game, on a later level in Adventure mode there's a crab that tries to wreck things by randomly adding more bubbles. Quick look at files in the game's folders shows there's an octopus and shark coming up later. On the same later levels you can upgrade bonuses between levels by collecting enough stars.

Cute Zuma/Luxor clone with beautiful under ocean graphics, lots of colorful corals and fish swimming around. Four play modes, Puzzle, Adventure, Strategy or Endless, with three difficulty choices. Options for choosing bubble skins, sounds and music up/down, fullscreen or windowed.

Great one for kids on Easy, older kids and adults can play on Normal or Hard. It saves multiple player profiles and saves games and scores separately for each player profile. As #22 Jennifer says, it does add bonuses and different play elements to make it different from Zuma and Luxor. It's from Realore so runs fine and everything works.

Re: #13 & #49 Lauri, #27 trisha, & #43 Stephanie: It saves multiple player profiles so you can't just click the OK button to start the game. You have to type in a name first where the cursor is blinking. Put anything, your own name, player 1, etc. After entering a name THEN click the OK button and it should start fine.

Re: #48 Swan: It saves games and scores just fine. To exit quickly click Menu in upper right corner, Abort Game, when it asks "are you sure" click Yes. Either that or hit ESC on the key board, then Abort Game and yes to exit. When you open the game again you have to click Continue Game, not New Game. As long as you click Continue Game it resumes exactly where you left off and at the exactly the score when last played.

On chronic complainers, spoiled cry babies might at least get their facts straight before throwing tantrums. "I am so tired of Zuma clones", etc., etc. This is only the second or third Zuma/Luxor clone that has ever been offered here, the last was Butterfly Escape and that was quite a while ago. By contrast there have been SIX alien shooter type games just since March 16 (Rip 1, Rip 2, Rip 3, Machine Hell, Alien Shooter, Silent Attack)

Just want to say thanks for the opportunity to get free software and games with no strings attached.
I check the GOTD website every day to see what is available - some times I download - sometimes I don't.
I agree that it's a pain when you can't save your progress in a game even if it is a free one. Game developers should know this is an important feature.
No complaints from this fading flower child - just thanks.

This game might require some file that is being restricted on the system? or maybe your video card doesn't have some feature it needs

Good morning again everyone ;)

A Zuma genre - installed perfectly and plays sweetly. 4 different game modes, puzzle, strategy, endless and adventure. Not too much difference between each one, but enough to make it interesting to some.

ONE MAJOR PEEVE - it doesn't save your game if you need to end it quickly for some reason. I really hate it when developers don't build that function into their game software.

Bubble character is cute, especially when he wins a round and does the cute little happy dance - he got that from me!!!! ;)

I think kids young and old who like Zuma clones will love this game, as long as they don't need to save their scores st any time.

Nice graphics and the balls have skins from which you can choose - which always goes towards giving the player a personal experience while playing.

Young children will absolutely love this game!

Thank you Realone, we're always so grateful for the games given to us to try and buy. However, I won't be buying upgrades to this game unless we can save our scores.

Thank you again GOTD - don't let the whiners get under your skin, there's plenty of us who appreciate this website for all that you do - not for what you don't do. You rock! ;)

I love Zuma-style games, this one is a keeper for me. Plus, the 4 playing modes make for a nice change.

People whining about the games make me laugh. It's free, for pie's sake, if you don't like the game you just wasted the two minutes it took you to load the page. I only install 1-2 games a week, and I surely don't complain every time you put up a shooter ;)

I don't always download all of them as everyone's taste is different but I always check your site daily. I think you do a great job on variety as so many like different things. Thanks GOTD. I LOVE Butterfly Escape, Lines Deluxe,Bubble Bobble,Strike Ball 2, and so many many more that you have allowed us to download for free. I still would love to have Text Twist as I have tried one site that was recommended but it only worked for so long and then I had to uninstall it or buy it. I couldn't afford to buy it right now. But THANK YOU GOTD again and again. I think you do a GREAT job!!!! I am pretty much home bound as my husband is 100% disabled, plus I have a lot of responsibility to my parents who are in their 80's and I help take care of them. I have found the less one complains the happier they are. I have NO complaints about the GREAT job you are doing. Thanks again.

I for one was excited to see this one up today. As a SAHM of 3, I use games to just unwind and LOVE Zuma/puzzle style games. Found this site 5 days ago and this is the first one I've seen that I have played a 1hour demo for before - my kids loved the fish theme and we all played it together. Perfect for a short break. Thanks so much for not paying too much attention to all the ungratful cry babies.
I for one do not download everything but games like this one are really a treat. I do what ever it takes to make sure I at least check the web site daily if I can.
You see sitting for hours getting chemo or dialyis is not only painful, boring, and long hours.
I am allowed to take my laptop with me. So I can now focus on something to get me through the time.
There are some games I have gotten that are a little hard for me but
I got them still on the laptop for times when my head stays a bit
clearer and I try to learn how to play them.
At 56 my body my seem alot older but my heart and brain have not aged that fast so why not give everything new that comes my way a chance.

I know where my recycle bin is and not afraid to use it.

Now that Granny is going to sit back down in her rocking chair just want to say thanks for all the hard work from the team for doing
alot of work to bring us these choices. Now for the cry babies
stand up, push yourself away from your computer and find something
else to do. Having nothing to do but complain is a sad life.

Have a great day and thanks GOTD and loyal commenters.
