Retro Wave Race is a game in the genre of arcade racing.

AquaDigger is a shining 3D arcade game based on classical dig-and-collect-all-the-treasures concept. Some things just never die and the digger idea is one of them. Now it is greatly revisited again in AquaDigger.

Get ready for some underwater action. Now the game field is a bottom of the ocean. You're controlling a oyster and your aim is familiar yet still exciting: collect all the golden coins while evading hostile spiny sea-urchins. Marvelous pearls grow inside you slowly. From time to time you can spit out a ripe pearl on your enemies to destroy them. You can also push off chests to make them fall on the heads of your enemies.

Game features rich 3D graphics with particle effects (such as bubbles of air), lens flare, dynamic gamefield, animated 3D backgrounds and sharp characters.

I don't know what it is but every game I have tried to download for the last couple weeks either just won't download or they do and after I install them and try to play them they refuse to play and all I get is an error and they have to shut down? Makes me wonder? I'm going to have to go back and check all the other games I have gotten from your site and see if they even work or have just been a waste of time and space also? Just what good is your site if the games refuse to work?

Thanks, GAOTD... appreciate it, guys. had this one before, (though I love the repeats for ones I've missed!) and the tilting board and 3D angles make it not enjoyable to play for me. But I've gotten so many good ones from you folks, I would never complain. I download all of your games and give them a go. Keep the ones I like, and delete the ones I don't. What a great site this is. Thanks again.

I liked the game, it's quite hard really. However, when I crash it takes me to the score frame and then freezes. Has anyone else had this problem or doesn't anyone else lose all their lives like me?

Lauri comment #9, check back to TVI Arkanoid and look for my comment #67; you'll find my email there.

http://game.giveawayoftheday.com/arkanoid-tvi/

You can contact me if you wish as I can give you some games that are totally free and would be suitable for your grandson. I haven't the time to go into detail here at the moment as I'm in the middle of testing a Battlefield 2 mod update for the Mercenaries mod. :)

The icon on the desktop says "DEMO." Is that trying to tell me it is not installed correctly? Thanks.

On the agreement page before installation, it says Aqua Digger 3D Demo. Usually GGAOTD gives away full length games, not demo's.

this game is so outdated (code wise) that it is impossible to play on my 2007 computer and my 2007 graphics card unless i enable Vsync to slow it down.
the date of the exe (2003) shows this.
the game does not have an automatic speed control depending on the machine it runs on.
reminds me of when i run an old DOS game in a non 386 machine...
gets a 1 because i am able to play it by cheating with the Vsync, otherwise it would have gotten a 0.

Thank you giveaway of the day for this wonderful game. For a few weeks nom my computer has been having a DirectX problem. It won't allow any DirectX based game to go to full screen. And this game does not use DirectX. There for I can play it. And I did play it I can finely play at least on game at full screen. I will be back to download game from you guys when I see a game I like.

I had the same problem as #2. My icon also says DEMO. I've never had problems downloading from this site. Also, when I came to the "start game" page, it wouldn't let me into the game. I had to use the task manager to get out.

#9 You can purchase a wireless router which stays plugged into your internet cable. Then you can access it from other computers anywhere in the house by getting a small device that looks like a thumb drive, but is a wireless network connector which plugs into any USB port on your computer. You stick the device into the computer's USB port when you want a network connection and pull it out when you don't want a connection. You can plug into the router directly, also. A disk comes with the network device that you need to use to install the drivers on the computers you plan to use it on. You only do that once and then after that, it's plug and go.

Wow.. another neat one to download for my grandkids (after I try playing it myself). *smile It activated just fine. One question.. I have another computer set up for my grandson for his "stuff" so he doesn't tie up MY machine to play things, but it's not hooked up to the internet... so I can't download or activate anything on there. Is there any way I can put things like this on his machine since it's activated here on my machine? For that matter, if I ever do get a newer computer, how do I keep from losing all the game giveaway's on here?

Wow! How cool. Like pac man under water. I am collecting games that might be fun for my child when she grows up. I am surprised that it downloaded to my 64bit system. Very cool!

Unfortunately, after reading about the video settings for this game, I must pass. I couldn't get the setting right for Dinos & Bubbles, so this one will most likely be the same. (Game would go nowhere from "press any key" screen, had to reset to reboot because Task Manager only flickered on screen, couldn't get to it. Yes, I have the latest Radeon video drivers and DirectX, and using XP Pro SP2.)

Thanks anyway, GGAOTD, I will check back again for another game!

Cute throwback to the side scrollers of yesteryear. I'm not much for the 3D emulation because it's hard to tell the walled off areas from the "edible" areas. Reminds me a *bit* of the old "Burgertime" game in that you can drop rocks on the enemy and shoot "pearls" at the bad guys. Used the keyboard to move, but it's not very smooth and certainly not as fast as the enemies that are out to get you. I was able to set the resolution to 1440 x 900 x 32 so it works well with my LCD Widescreen. Music is so-so, but you can adjust loudness of the music as well as the sound effect. I agree with the 5/10 rating for adults. Nice diversion, but that's it.

(Now if someone would make a good clone of THAT game (Burgertime), that I would BUY!)

#2, The icon says Demo, but right after it installed a window comes up to let you know it's activate and it opened the browser to the web page. (There's a web page error at that point, btw) So if it did that you're okay.

Deceptively hard game at first. Gotta be quick on the reactions. Wish it had the option of allowing you to use your mouse to shoot with...guess I will have to assign a key that will work better than trying to use the space bar. Kept trying to use the mouse like an FPS would. Old habits die hard. Nice game.

Today’s ‘Giveaway’, was originally given away back in Dec 06. It is a simple installation with a combined activation and setup icon; so it should activate automatically. I noticed one person above said it was still in demo mode. I don’t know how this could happen, unless you installed it, but didn’t leave the play game box checked. (Supposition only) On starting the game you can select your screen resolution up to 1280x1024 and toggle between windowed and full screen. There is a button for the manual, but I couldn't find it amongst the files on my C: drive, which is where you are taken if you click on it. The options menu gives you the usual music and sound control sliders as well as a key binding’s link. The controls are very simple, up, down, left, right and fire.

The game is a basic Pacman/Digger clone which emulates 3D graphics. The combination of the two genres makes for an interesting game. My children loved this the first time around, so I would say children between the ages of 5 to 8 will probably love it also. For the younger child, it will give them a good grounding in keyboard control of a moving object on screen, as well as develop their motor and planning skills.

You are a clam with large eyes, chomping/digging your way through what looks like algae, uncovering and collecting gold coins. The round ends when all the algae are removed. During the game there are lots of bonuses to collect such as Extra Lives, Freeze, Fury, and Canon as well as treasure chests that need to be moved before they open up, giving you larger than normal gold coins or other bonuses to collect. The bonuses are all time limited.

The music is rather bland; although turned down to a bare minimum, (IMO) is probably acceptable. Unfortunately, unless you are confident at editing the data files with a reasonable text editor you’re stuck with the music that’s provided. I’m sure some will find it okay.

This is quite an entertaining game for short periods; probably ideal in windowed mode for that craftily played moment while at work.

There were only a few comments the first time this was given, although it did get 94% thumbs up from 58 comments. Considering it was only 9 days into the start of the game giveaway site I think that that was okay. The following link will take you to the comments section where 25% of the comments were made by me, (lol)

I give this 5 out of 10 for adults and 8 out of 10 for children. :)

Thank you GameOver Games and the Game Giveaway team for repeating this okay game. :)
