You're right. I did miss the original point, that Edward called Aqua Bubble a clone. Thank you.

Let's be friends.

Um no Lockett, I never said anything about you flaming me. I said stop criticizing other people's comments. Oh and after reading you response it is quite obvious that you missed the point altogether.

"Enlighten me. Why does it bother you so much that people mention Snood before Bust-A-Move?"

For the same reason that it bothers me when people who like Hungry Jack say that they prefer "the real stuff" when they eat actual syrup. Someone actually said that, by the way.

"These people are comparing PC games to PC games, and maybe even some of them have never heard of Bust-A-Move."

No, they're comparing mechanics to mechanics, and if somebody hasn't heard of Bust-A-Move, it's their problem.

If anyone besides you and Ernie LaVallee has actually been offended by me, then they would say so. Since it's only you two, and you both seem to take a rare pleasure in flaming "complainers"(especially LaVallee, who is strangely obsessed with Phil's "poetry" that I haven't even encountered), why should I care about what offends you? If you flame people without thinking twice, don't tell me that I should stop flaming you - because I haven't.

Lockett,

This is the kind of stuff you do that is in fact offensive:

>Edward

“Kind of like “Snood”, my kids loved it!”

Every time somebody says “It’s like Snood”, I want to tear my hair out. SNOOD IS AN INFERIOR CLONE OF BUST-A-MOVE, SO STOP ACTING LIKE IT’S THE ORIGINAL!
_

Enlighten me. Why does it bother you so much that people mention Snood before Bust-A-Move? Bust-A-Move did come first, but it wasn't a PC game originally, which Snood exclusively is. These people are comparing PC games to PC games, and maybe even some of them have never heard of Bust-A-Move. I think you need to relax. You're always critiquing other people's comments in such a way that doesn't add anything but distraction to the actual topic at hand. And besides, who cares if you think Snood is "AN INFERIOR CLONE OF BUST-A-MOVE" when the guy referencing it obviously approved of the game? Nobody here is "ACTING LIKE IT’S THE ORIGINAL!" either.

I don't like this game very much. I've played it before and it doesn't entertain me. Thumbs down.

One major problem: when I insert a tilde that I have in my name in the high score, the game crashes. If I can't get my name in the high scores, how can I compete with my family? I don't wanna write my name the wrong way...

The gun being the color of the next ball, with the one after that visible too, is actually quite useful, once you know that's what's happening. But the controls are so clumsy. Movement of the gun by the arrow keys is very imprecise, and if you move your mouse even a little when shooting the gun resets to the side - very odd. Would be much better if you could just move the gun with the mouse. Given how fast the bubbles move, the clumsy controls make the game not worth playing, and I like bubble-shooters.

@Whiterabbit: The first 2 GTA games are available directly from the developer Rockstar Games at http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

I would recommend getting it directly from them, to avoid any rubbish from Game Top, and also to make 100% sure it's a 100% legal version (do Game Top have the rights to redistribute these games?)

I didn't get to comment on Last Galaxy Hero. It locked up the first time. Since then working on Vista H.P.

I like this game a lot. The "next bubble" is like Zuma and other marble or bubble shooting games. I like that one can control the sensitivity of the bubbleshooter. Also, you can use the keypad OR mouse to control it. I hate keypad controlled games, but some people like them. This game is a keeper! Thanks GAOTD!

Thank's Wilau, I’m feeling fine today's. A rest is as good as a holiday sometimes. :) Grandma Pecos, let's say I remember A Hard Days Night, the film by The Beatles (At the time I preferred them to the Rolling Stones, though today both bands are iconic. AndI remember my sister and I played pattacake singing “when my daddy went to war”, while the Cuban missile crisis was at it's height. I was born two years before that (still) brilliant film The Vikings was released. :)

To JasonC.... I don't know whether ‘Game Top’ are affiliated with Justfreegames as I do not follow the links that are provided near the top, middle and bottom of the page, apart from once, when I was curious. Those links take you to more links, some of which were when I checked them were 'suspect'. So being sensible  I leave those alone. ‘Game Top’ opens a browser to their home page when you close down any of the games that you get from them, which some may consider an invasion of their privacy, though apart from the browser opening, nothing else untoward happens, there’s no pop up’s, the browser isn’t hijacked and no malware is downloaded onto your computer; and provided you don't follow other links to free stuff; no harm should come to your computer. . ‘Game Top’ have recently improved their homepage and those links are easily distinguished from the games that are safe to download. Which on most free games sites it's hard to distinguish the safe from the dangerous. All I can say is, if you’re not sure don’t download, it’s as simple as that. My McAfee site advisor reports no problems with Game Top games and gives the site a green for go. (Maybe because the site does provide links that link to links that are possibly full of malware, the site should be tagged as orange just incase the unvary browser should follow those links, but it seems the McAfee site advisor guys think it’s worth a green, which is fine by me) so it’s up to you to decide….. I know what I’d do. :)

I think this is a nice game. It won't blow you away but it's good. We're talking about a bubble busting game here. It's a fun and clean game that can be played by everyone in the family. So for family fun alone I vote this thumbs up. Thank you GGAOTD staff for all of your hard work in getting us these fun games. thank you also Realore Studios. Your games are most appreciated. One last thanks to Whiterabbit # 14. I have 5 Gametop games installed on my computer but I have not seen any of the games that you have provided links for. I will definitely download them and try.

This is a really neat little game! Thanks GGOTD! I agree with Rae #20 about the little guy. He's cute! I don't get the problem others are having with the next color ball showing. This actually gives you the next 2 colors to help your strategy because the nozzle is the first color and the ball is the second. I like when you get the added line that leads to where the ball will land.

The only thing I don't like is that you can't save.....good old Realore!

OMG!! ROFLMBO This game loaded easy, is a descent size and utterly fun. Yup, it's like Snood, the very first game I ever got online and loved, except this one is funnier. I totally cracked up when the little guy started freakin' out when the bubbles got too close to the bottom! Works perfect in the Vista laptop too! Who could ask for anything more!! Great for a quickie pastime! Thanx much! Gotta go and load this in the PC, too!

This is an okay game that, as comment number one states can get frustrating due to the bubble being shown not being the next to be used, but the one following the next one  Though this actually adds a little bit of thought as opposed to just shooting.

Personally my heads to fuzzy most of the time to think ahead these days, so this isn't for me, but I will be keeping it for the family, and maybe it'll help me with my memory problems  if I do play it

It's a very basic version of this bubble shooter genre; we were given a great one several months ago called Phantasia 2 that included 2 or 3 modes, one of which added an arkanoid theme to it. And another very similar one called Bubble Odyssey. Nontheless this is a valid game that is worth the download in my opinion. If you like this you'll also like Aqua Pearls, another in an offshoot of this genre that is similar to Luxor and Atlantis Sky Patrol, (both my favorites of this type of game) Today,s is not in their league though. Thankfully it's not the usual $19.95, but still I think $15.9% is a little steep considering the versatility of games like Phantasia and Phantasia 2

.........................................................................................

I've not been as devoted to my main reviews over the past few days, partly because I've been concentrating on the freeware games that FreewareFan has been posting over in the Games Discussion forums:

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/forums/forum/17

Some of which are really cool, for example Tempo, Trackmania Nations and Stopple to name a few. (see my reviews by following the link above) Oh yeah and an excellent one called Jewel Tower posted by L Dalh Also I've been having router problems like Lockett recently, hence the lack of a full review yesterday and today. I have just taken delivery of a new 'n' spec router which I hope will enable coverage throughout the house. My old 'G' spec one just didn't quite cover all the computers I have with network cards. So today is a network setting up day, especially with the excellent giveaway application which just about covers every tool you'll need for backup... besides I've been promising my son I'd get the network set up so that we can play a few games together on a LAN

Have a great weekend folks and thank you to Realore Studios, who have given us some excellent games since the game project was started back in Dec 06 and as ever to the game giveaway team for bringong us this fantastic project. (of course I'm fawning, these guys and gals deserve it :) )

The following games are free commercial games similar to today's giveaway. I've posted then so that you can have an even better game giveaway of the day. Some of you will already be familiar with the Gametop site. For those whove not come across it before you'll find a treasure trove of excellent arcade games that include action, puzzle, arcade and card games as well as a list of abandonware titles such as the first two Grand Theft Auto titles. The only cost apart from taking the time to download these 'gems', is that whenever you close down one of these games, your browser will be opened and you'll be taken to the gametop home page. This can easily be shut down. I've never had any pop ups or viruses installed with any of the games I've downloaded from this site. One of the advantages of seeing the home page is that you'll see when a new game has been added to the growing list of free games (these are not freeware games but commercial games that elsewhere you pay money for. There are other sites associated with this one that also give free games away such as www.FreeGamePick.com

Enjoy the weekend

@silver... the thing which shoots the bubbles changes colors to and contains the color bubble you are currently shooting..

Bust-A-Move clone... I don't like how the bubbles constantly move down... makes it a bit hard to judge angles... it makes for a fast pace though.

Just played for a few minutes. Got frustrated. It shows what color the next bubble will be, but it is actually the second bubble that you will shoot.
Too confusing to keep track of what color the bubble was before the one you see.
