Animals Of The World was available as a giveaway on April 5, 2022!
AnimalsOfTheWorld is a wild animal themed puzzle game in which you don't have to drag and drop elements, just swap them by clicking on them with the mouse.
The game has 12 levels, each puzzle consists of 45 elements. In this version, buttons have been added to the panel: sound, mute, hint, next level and exit to the main menu. With the right decision, you will automatically go to the next level, but if the passage of the level caused you difficulty, then you can skip it. The game has a choice of levels and you can start playing from any level. There is a help button on the panel, click on it if the game caused you a problem and you don’t know where to put the next element, when you click on the button, a full image will appear, which will automatically disappear after a certain period of time. The difficulty of the game is medium.

Overall, not bad, but I do have a few things I dont like. I wish it would have notched pieces like a regular puzzle, not square tiles. The swapping works better than trying to place square tiles, I admit. I gave up on the craziness of the free play with square tiles. Also it has glitches- trying to do the penguin puzzle, one square turned pure black and refused to move from that point on. Obviously it wasn't supposed to be black at that spot, as it was part of a large penguin's body. One corner piece kept having a glitch that made the far corner of the tile turn another color, so it had a little square in the corner of the square that had the coloring of another tile (that didnt go there). Sometimes clicking on the piece again cleared it, but moving it usually made it come back. Got that to work right, but the solid black unmoveable piece did not fix and I could not finish the puzzle. The pictures are beautiful, however, so that's a plus.
I would also like the pieces to lock in place once they are placed correctly, that's typically a feature of virtual puzzle games and very helpful.
At least you can turn sound on & off, that's another plus. Some good potential, but sad it doesn't want to work quite right all the time. I did get through the horses picture without too much glitching.
Thanks for the games, GOTD.
