Aerospace Forces is a side scrolling space shooter in the tradition of the old school shmups. It definitely reminds me of a lot of the early shmups that were available via the old arcade consoles and early gaming consoles such as the Amiga and BBC Micro. you get three lives and various power ups that you first need to shoot at to open the containers. These carry through to the next level. Other pick ups include improved or additional weapons, e.g. back firing weapon, so you have one at the front and one at the back (great for those enemy ships you missed), also available as a pick up are health packs to repair damage, extra lives etc. If you are into shmups, this is worth adding to your collection. As you progress the levels become steadily harder to survive (as you'd expect). If you are new to shmups, this is still well worth downloading as it starts of really easy (to help ease you into the game) Mmwaaa!!!.

You can also use the ↑, ↓, ← & → keys for movement. As a left-hander I found using the WASD and space for shooting a little difficult, so was pleased to find that the arrow keys also worked for movement.

I only saw this late evening as I've been away from home , so won't have time to post a full review today.
Finally, this is the last chance to get the Time Management game Overcooked for free. In a few hours (6pm UTC, 1pm EDT) it will be removed and changed for the award-winning Action RPG Torchlight, which was one of my favorite arcade RPG's games back when it was released on Steam HERE almost 10 yeas ago.

Won't have time to try this one soon, but the video looked promising. No bullet hell, just move to dodge and aim, and fire. Not too many things on the screen all at the same time. Reminds me a bit of Vanguard on the old Atari 2600, and many others. I like that it ramps up at a gradual pace. Thanks!

A simple game. Just wish there was mouse control for the spaceship.
Rather annoying is that you have to use the mouse to navigate any menu, but not the game.
I will keep for something to do when I want to empty my head after a busy day.
