"Installed" fine and plays fine on 266MHz PII with 2M video mem on old DX6 compatible video chipset, it's perfectly playable even on my slow laptop, only played it once so far, so not addicted yet quite yet.

Game Seeker(#19) if you install and activate the game/program during the giveaway period, the game/program will remain free, full and activated forever (unless you wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows). The whole thing is like this: you get your program/game, you like it, you tell your friends about it, they buy it. You are left with the free program and everyone's happy.

Misty(#10) if you activated the program successfully than it should stay activated. Because some game/programs store the activation key in the Windows Registry installing from a limited writs account might cause this. Also the deactivating could be also caused if you used System Restore, changed the Registry or even by hard drive failure. Also maybe a program (antivirus, antispyware, firewall...) could have affected the install program. Or you deleted some file by accident...

Marsha(#18)to uninstall the game just delete the folder where the "setup-and-activate" program unzipped the files. This game did not install like a typical program, it was just a special archive so deleting the folder is the way to "uninstall" it.

Misty (#10) why do you wonder why Sky Bubbles is a demo now? Read the directions on the site, click where it says About. Each game's only free for one day that's why they call it game.giveawayoftheDAY.com They're not all free forever, after free day's gone then that day's game goes back to demo. Each day a new free game is put up. The ones still on the list are just to show you what were the free games on past days in case you might want to buy those, it doesn't mean they're all still free. If you missed the free day for Sky Bubbles then you missed that game for free. You need to check the site once each day and if you want today's game then download install and activate before the free day is up or you lose out on the giveaway.

Can someone please tell me how to uninstall this game. I can't seem to find uninstall any where on my pc. Thank you so much!

I don't know why you're having a problem Sergio. Everyone, includig myself, using XP can install softwares from GiveAway perfectly fine. Try connecting your DSL/Cable directly to your PC. Check your system's time, is it synched? Check your internet settings. Are you using a Proxy Server? Play with different settings and I'm sure you'll figure it out :)

Cool game. Installed on Vista perfectly. Must drag out the joy stick for this one.

Sounds like a pacman/pipeline hybrid type game. Looks fun enough for a short try so I'll try it when I get home. Love and appreciate GGOTD for their efforts in bringing us free games. And some have been fun for those quickie gaming sessions. I agree with Dave that Sky Bubbles has been the best of these games so far. But other than these arcade-type parlor games, any chance we'll see some more "involved" games?

Haven't had any problems with the activation of the games I've tried so far. Sergio, instead of the firewall, do you have Norton installed or some other spyware/adware blocker? Norton, particularly Norton Internet Security, is notorious for heavy system integration and can be over conservative and block all sorts of programs, as can other anti-spyware/adware programs. I'm *trusting* that the activate program isn't a spyware/adware, but try turning those off to run the activation.

With a win98 virtual machine it doesn't activate...

Yeah I just went and checked sky bubbles and sure enough it is only the demo now for me too....good thing I already beat the game. I wonder why it is just a demo now.

Of the games I have downloaded from this site, I have yet to have any problem either downloading them or activating them and I run on xp with my firewall on. Nor have any of the games "lost it's activation" all the ones I have are still activated and full length games. So it's possbile the problem is on your end, and not always the site's problems.

I have never been a really good pac-man type of game player, but my husband and son sure are, so they will enjoy this game, and while I just played it for a few minutes and sucessfully completed level 1, this is a game I might find myself addicted to and attempt to become good at. Thanks again GOTD!

Not my cup of tea...still hoping for another Sky Bubbles type game...and speaking of that...I went to play that again after not playing for a week or so and I got the "its a demo...you have 60 minutes" window?!!? Had no problems the first week or so but it seems to have "lost" its activation. Anybody else experiencing this type of thing with any of the games?

I am having an issue with the install too. This is actually unusual, Sergio (#1 comment) - so EVERY game from this site is not going to crash on your PC. You may have a problem here and there, but overall, I love this site!

I forgot to mention, if you want to see a recent original concept game, then google Gish and get a demo. It won game of the year a few years ago, but because it's not widely distributed, you don't see it often. All my family are hooked. It comes with a level editor as well.

Comment #1 Sergio. I noticed you commented over on the utiliy comments in a similar vein. I personally have never had a problem activating any software except one of the arcanoid clones, but thankfully I got it to work on at least one of my computers.

With respect to #3, to be honest there are very few original games being made at the present time, most games being a clone of at least one or more of the many genres first seen on the zX and commadore 64's from the early 80's, however the clones generally are far superior to the originals due to the ability to combine genres, for example Little Gods, a beautiful arcade game is a meld of Pong and Arkanoid.

Back to Sergio.. There's got to be something wrong with either your connection or your computer if you are unable to get any of the give away software to activate. Unfortunately I cannot help you as my forte is in the life sciences.

I generally don't like pacman clones of which this is a vague copy; but the story line and the actual game are really playable. As comment #3 states the graphics are nice. I totally agree. This is another my kids will love and i'll be playing it along side them, so thank you again GoTD, you've made my day with this and the utility software which is really useful.

if u remember 'anteater' from the arcades this is a clone. graphics are much nicer though.

Unable to install anything here. Gets message asking to download later or indicating to off the firewall. I have firewall off and still unable to activate the key. Need Help thanks.

activation fails with no attempt to connect to the internet (again) even with my firewall off !! ( i even was stupid enough to try this with my firewall off).
sorry, but your activation method has a flaw, and there is no debug info to go behond that statement.
until then, i guess all software from here will never work on my XP.
