Si vous avez utilisé un E dans votre profil, vous obtiendrez le problème que vous mentionnez. Essayez de créer un profil à l'aide des lettres différentes. Si elle continue à être un problème, utiliser des chiffres pour votre profil.

Chacune de ces solutions devrait résoudre le problème

From a puzzle game it becomes a 1st person shooter game!
At least build in an escape or cheat.
Build-in a bit of everything in one and the same game, and be sure everyone dislikes the result :-(

Hi,

I typed the name without an e and worked for awhile. It crashed windows and said I need a device. To play it safe I'm uninstalling. I had put it on a newer laptop with xp, but didn't have mega memory either.
I am getting a new computer with 8 and a whopping terrabyte, so will see how playrix does on that next time. I have had a memory problem with every Playrix game. Perhaps they are better suited to gaming computers, but far from an expert.

Well, I figured out what's wrong. When I type "e" it goes to the epilogue of the game for some reason, so any username using "e" stops loading a player name and goes to the epilogue, which I just ignored the first time around after I clicked on it and the game went to the main screen. So I tried "lori" and it worked. Annoying. Maybe it was a glitch in installation, but it's too late to reinstall the game. Too bad I didn't figure this out before 2 a.m. today!

I'm confused. I played this game last night and got to the second book. When it asked for a player name, I started typing a 10-character name, lauriellen, but it stopped me as I typed the first "e" and launched the game. So I figured today I'd resume play, assuming it would remember me. It asked for a name again, and again it stopped me as I typed the "e." Then it started a new game. The high scores list a blank for the name of my high score from last night, and today's high scores list "noname." The game is okay (I'm not a big fan of mixing up puzzle games with stories; either I ignore the story in favor of the puzzles (which is the norm for me), or the puzzles feel like a silly diversion to the storyline), but I don't feel like repeating everything I already did. It said my game would be saved, but I don't see any way of opening a saved game, nor did I see anything in the help function about opening a saved game. Maybe I'll try a shorter character name to see if it will remember me?

Problem with game:

I installed it fine, but when I ran the game, it asked me to type in my name. When I hit 'e' on the keyboard, the name window went away and the game began. I played for several hours. Then after shutting the game down and restarting, It asked for my name again. All progress was lost. I typed in my name and again the input box disappeared when I hit 'e'. The game now works if I don't type 'e'.

Another Problem is that the tips don't actually stop when you remove the check mark from the options window.

Hi Keith, did you read any of the posted comments? The problem with the E tro epilogue was documented easrly in the day. Same problem as when the game was given away previously.

Hi, is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? I'm on the first match 3 page with the dratted fairy trying to give me a hint, but I just cannot get any tiles to swap/change. Can someone let me in on the secret please, going nuts here!

Update: My one I put 'marine' - with an e. It had no problems saving or anything else. Works super ok. Was with a small m. Do not know if it matter. :)

When I entered my name in player profile at the second letter the game went to epilogue. Tried several tines with the same result. I played the game for awhile and it performed well. However when I went back later the game had not been saved.

Many community members (including me) have had the same problem. Using the letter e will cause this (and possibly other letters as well). try using numbers for your profile. I fixed mine by using the name Stphn instead of Stephen. If you can't type in more than 3 letters beforew it changes, you'll know one of the letters is a no no. :)

Hi!

The game downloaded and is working fine. It did only take 4 letters for the name, so after reading other comments I am wondering if it will save and will check soon. Other than that, it is running smoothly with good graphics.

Conosco il gioco , gia' attivo su win 7 starter 32 bit , Acer Aspire. ieri ho caricato questo sul mio win 8 , samsung notepad 500T . Ho seguito il consiglio di salvarlo su c\games e ho tenuto la tastiera per impostare il nome del giocatore. Verificato se col touch funge, e se salva il nome. Tutto ok. Non funziona in verticale. Solo orizzontale ,e cambia in automatico la risoluzione dello schermo. Quindi Poliice su , e Grazie .

If you would have some strategy (ie 'age of empires I' kind of thing) the game would have everything

According to my computer, I downloaded the Premium version of this Game on here the 20th of May 2012. Now unless there has been some change in the game or this is an updated version I shouldn't need to redownload load it. I checked to make sure it was the same game with the same name and it was! Don't have it on my new laptop though so will be dowloading it onto it! Thanks for bring it back!

I too have this from you already, though not "premium", looks the same.Enjoy it very much for the challenge of beating the game in finding the longest lines to eliminate, not nearly as monotonous as the match three for me, tho I like many of them too. Adds find the difference type element between rounds which lets you change mental and visual focus, great addition. Thanks for offering it again, I will share it with friend, but would like to have one of the other versions next time maybe?

Only suggestion is a way to skip over the interruptions of the fairy flashing on to bring hints when already involved in game. Gets annoying. Thank yo very much for bringing this game to us. It should please a variety of different types of gamers.

Installed it. Played 2 levels, but between the irritating fairy, and the equally irritating timer, I un-installed it. I played this one a few years back and hated it. When are these game makers going to get into their heads, that they need to include a relaxed mode also.

Did they lower the download speeds? used to download these >100Mb games within a few seconds, now it takes almost two minutes (same goes for the "normal" GOTD site btw)

I had this at one point, probably from the last giveaway. Playrix does awesome games, all there is to it. This one is a good one, though not up to their others.

My issue? It has a Hidden Object chunk at the beginning. Yes, this is a nitpick, but I can't stand HO games! They make me insane. And if there was a way to skip it, I couldn't find it. My eyesight generally isn't good enough for me to work with HO games so they make me nuts. Even with the hint button, something I have to wait for it to reload multiple times for the most part, it makes me crazy. That detracts from the enjoyment of the game.

The rest is good. The graphics are great, the twist on the Match-3 is great, though i do like the traditional better than this version, but that's my preference. It installed on XP Pro SP3 perfect. It's just that one pick.

Overall, it's worth it just for developers? Mini-games? BLERGH! Let us skip them!

I have Windows 7, 64 bit, and the game installs just fine but will not allow me to enter a name or save progress. Very disappointing in that!

This is a followup to a comment I attempted to post a while ago but which hasn't shown up. I was unable to operate the game properly because it misbehaved when I attempted to enter my name (echo). I tried to go to the forum to ask about this, but I had to register and after another while I still haven't been sent a password. I noticed a post on the forum from somebody named TRACEY who complained he couldn't enter anything ("E" presumably) after the "C" in his name. I tested this theory. Sure enough, if I entered a name without any "e"s, everything is fine.

So I'm back here, and I see that since I was here before somebody reported the "e" issue. I can confirm that the problem still exists!

Well installed & registered A-OK on Vista Home Prem., x64.

I had "4 Elements" from before, but since this said "4 Elements Premium" I thought this would be a New or Improved game with some updates and what not ... so, I downloaded and installed it ... guess what ... this is the Same Version as "4 Elements" and the Shortcut created also does Not say "Premium". When I started it after the installation it took me bak to Level 6 where I was under the old installation.

The last time this game was given away, someone finally figured out a way to fix player name problem so you could use any letter you want. In the folder that the game is installed in, there's a folder called Base that contains a bunch of XML files. One of those files is called Keymap. It sets a bunch of keyboard commands that most people will never use. You can edit Keymap in a basic text editor to change those commands to characters you don't expect anyone to use for a character name. Note that the letter "E" isn't the only one that causes problems; "D" (for debug mode) and a couple of others do as well.

I have it on Steam and it's AWESOME! In my opinion - the best GGotD (so far).

I tried using 3 numbers first and it saved the name.

I'm having the same problem with not being able to add a user name. It starts the game and won't save it. Otherwise, it's a great game.

This is a family site Mike, there really is no need to swear. Thousands of users don't get this problem. It's probably an issue with the way you have your computer set up or a conflict with something running in the background; not with the fact that its a Playrix game. I've had this game running on at least five different computers since I first purchased it some years ago and its worked on all of them.

A very good game. I have played it a lot but I hate the fact that every time you start a new game, you have to go through the tutorial and the fairy gets to be very aggravating even if turned off she still is there. Also it keeps a running score for the player's name so unless you change the name, you cannot compare scores ad if you fail a level the score for that level still counts so the worse you play the higher the score.

Help~ every time I try to do the "setup.gcd" I either get blocked by my anti virus or I'm taken to a file that "wants to clean up my registry". Can someone PLEASE help me understand/tell me what to do? You've offered several games I would like to download but now you have to use the setup.gcd.

Hi Carole. You either need to configure your security to accept the gcd file, or turn off your security temporarily while you install the game. As I mention in my review above. There has never been a giveaway infected with malware since the project started over 6 years ago.

This is my favorite game, thanks.

The problem with the former giveaway was, that player names including the letter "e" didn't function. The player's name rsp game was not saved.

So I always played with a nickname "xxxx" or "yyyy".

Has this problem meanwhile been resolved???

But .............. I played the 1st book today, exit and when I started to play again after couple of hours, I could play it all over again!!!

Altough it said it would save, it didn't.

Ha! Marie below reminded me of the problem from the previous giveaway. If you are trying to input an E intop your profile, that's the problem. Try creating a profile without an E. :)

Install on Win 8 32bit, but I played for a hour and on my return, it don't keep my name or profile. When it ask for name, it only see 3 letters and auto go into the game, givin no option to see my name anywhere. So now I must keep playing all over every time I start the game :(

Hi Wayne, oddly i'm also having the same problem on one of my computers. It works fine on my Win 7 installation, but on my Win 8 installation after typing the first three letters of my profile, the game starts and doesn't save after playing a few levels. I'll see if I can find a fix later. NI need a rest/cat nap as I've been working all afternoon on the new house.


Marie reminded me of the original problem. Try retyping your name, but don't use the letter E. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I have to agree with Rad at number 4. I remember being so disappointed when it ended ... and usually I hate match three type games but this game feels quite different weirdly ... in a good way!

Thanks very much to Playrix and GGotD for giving away this title again as I lost mine a few weeks ago when I had to reformat. Both the 4 Elements games make a nice change from the usual swapping gems type gameplay, I personally preferred the second game (which I bought before I ever played this one) but this one is well worth having as well and I'd definitely recommend the sequel if you enjoy this. Its also nice to have a Match 3 game that is something approaching challenging on occasion, many in this genre are ridiculously easy. The game is very colourful with lovely graphics and the music is appropriate and inoffensive. Installs and plays with no problems on a Windows 7 64 bit PC ;o)
