Installed and started playing, but, the colors in the actual puzzles, don't match the thumbnails.
Instead, all the puzzles I've tried so far, all have a blueish hue to all the colors. This was also a problem that was present in another puzzle game from the same company, and nobody ever seemed to find the solution.

The other puzzle game that suffers the blue hue problem, was 1001 jigsaws earth chronicles 2, also installed off this site.

A bit deceptive calling a product "1001 Jigsaw American Puzzles" but only including 500 puzzles! What does the 1001 really refer to? How do you run a steam powered game under XP or Vista? Or is it a stand alone build?
The installed executable will NOT load under XP 32 bit or 64bit as the executable installed under 32bit Vista is built to require Vista or above to be recognised as a valid win32 application.
It throws up an "Error Init Render" when trying to launch it in a remote desktop session.

TK, in the folder DATA is a password protected zip archive called packs_low and it contains 1001 JPG files. Maybe the paid version does offer 1001 jigsaws it's just the giveaway and steam version that cripples the game to only support 500 jigsaws.

TK, for the adventurous if you have an editor that handles XML file syntax you could try adding jpegs 501 to 1001 to the file pzls.xml in the installation folder... might work! I can't be bothered to put the encrypted zip archive in my zip password cracker... not worth the effort.

Even after switching all three Norton protections off, I keep getting the message that the key cannot be decrypted. In other cases with the Themida wrapper (like the other giveaway today), it works.

Roul Sebastian John, try redownloading it in another browser if you have one as it's possible the download was incomplete, if you have a program like 7zip use it to test the integrity of the downloaded zip bundle.
It downloaded ok for me and installed ok... just did not run properly as it does not like software rendering under remote desktop session.
