ADDENDUM: I've downloaded the game from another well known free game site and it worked perfectly. The executable from TooMky Games must be corrupted in some way. There are two free games sites that definitely have this game; just Google it.

Installed 10 Talismans, but I'm unable to play the game because I keep getting the following error message:

Loading Error:
Can't load ????n delete.par.....
Program will now stop

I tried downloading directly from TooMky Games and got the same loading error.

I purchased this game via Reflexive Arcade before it was sold off to Amazon, but can't find the installer at this time, so no review is possible. I can't remember much about the game apart from it being a bright looking match three game, as it's been several years since I last played it.

I am getting the same error message. I had wondered if it was because I had installed to a different location, but still got the same error when installed to the default location.

Whiterabbit-uk, I know this has nothing to do with today's game, but it was a total surprise for me as the kids have never made much of an effort in the past for Fathers Day. Traditionally in my family if its a birthday, or other special day like Mother or Fathers day. We get the day off from all household duties, and the kids 'volunteer' to do all the housework and cooking; so, I've had a very welcome lazy day so far. The kids got me a really cool Father's day card (see below), which included a model of an early console cabinet with Space Invaders. The kids didn't know, but that was the very first digital game I ever played via my local hostelry called 'The Talbot' in a cabinet not dissimilar to the model.

They also purchased that Humble charity bundle 'Fight for Racial Justice (ends tomorrow) for me, which included several games I'd been after. :)

p.s. That fierce looking mount in the background is my favored mount in The Elder Scrolls Online, which I was enjoying when they gave me the card and 3D cut out of a console cabinet.

Thanks Pixie. To be honest, it's the best one yet since my kids (now 19 and 21) were born. Previously we've always hovered around my wife's father for most of the day, and usually had lunch and dinner at their house (usually celebrating a combination of three birthdays {mine, my wife's and her fathers} plus fathers day celebrations).

Because of the lock-down, it became just me, my wife, and the kids; which was a very pleasant change from previous years (not that spending most of the day at my father-in-laws was awful; just not as relaxing as being at home) and was really nice as I was able to relax and do my own thing for most of the day.

I downloaded it on Bigfish for the 1 hr trial. They are having a BOGO today. This is a basic match 3.

The mystery of game crashing may be solved, if you would look into data\effects folder. There is a file Копиn delete.par (with some Russian characters) which could hardly be loaded without Russian localization of Windows (this game is evidently developed by Russian team). So I can play this game, but most of the people not.

Sometimes the game launcher won't work,

(Part of this comment had to be deleted, please see my explanation below, thank you.)

, because the launcher (the code that connects you to the distributor website at the beginning and end of the game) returns "not valid Win32 ...". I uninstalled many games thinking they didn't work before I found this workaround.

Thank you for your suggestion; however I'm really sorry I've had to removed this particular information becasue it breaks the EULA that you are agreeing to by installing the game, plus it would stop the vendor from earning advertising income. Part of that income is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be downloaded for free. If everyone worked on that fix, it could stop these free game sites from operating, or at the very least losing many of the games developers allow them to give away for the price of a few adverts during the games boot up period and your browser being redirected to the vendors site.

That said, if you find this workaround helps with otherwise unplayable games, I'm sure the vendor would understand

Whiterabbit-uk, Sorry, didn't even occur to me that was income producing adverts before the game started. Perhaps the publishers could find a way to make their wrapper compatible with XP, since there are plenty of us holdouts.

I got the same as everyone else, the game wouldn't work - so I got it elsewhere (google it!) and it works fine. It's a nice gentle match three game and lovely if this is your sort of game - thanks GGOTD and Whiterabbit for pointing me in the right direction to get it.
