Love that the number of secrets and stars are posted above the exit door to each level. Missing just one star is one of the really frustrating things in Turtix, the first game.

Seems like a nice game, but like #37 above it's running really slowly.

A do appreciate the counters for Stars and Secrets that were added since the last Turtix game I played. :)

I saw the screenshot and busted up laughing, so I installed the game early yesterday morning, quit, then split for the day. I was told when I got back, "the turtle needs to giggle" so that would be my advice today. Understanding the most minimum about game programming... I can see how the turtle giggling might become annoying, So I would modify the advice, and make a little check box in Turtix Rescue, audio settings, new turtle giggle voice, if checked, on event. (Given you actually take this advice seriously) I don't know which event the turtle should giggle, but hey I am just passing the idea on, it makes sense to me, in this sad world, we definitely need giggling turtles to brighten the day.

I can see your point. Maybe the developer will consider a check box. :)

Hello ! Just one additional comment (and I will add it in "suggestions"), "negative" this one.

The 1st Bonus Level (1-B) was a nightmare for me. I am not too familiar with platforms & arcade games. And that was so true in level 1-B. Even in casual mode (the easy one) it was so difficult for me to catch 30 stars in 60 seconds only. I think I replayed that level at least 15 or 20 times. Before I (I-don't-know-how) finally made it !!! Then, my suggestion : as these bonus levels don't seem to be compulsory... it would be so GREAT to be able to SKIP if we can't make it. Thought I'd become crazy... and I could never go further in the game.

I think this has to do, as well, with the fact that sometimes, it is quite difficult to anticipate and evaluate Turtix' rebounds, etc... And, in particular when we have to play against the clock, it is more evident that Turtix' moves are not always as smooth and easy to control as with other similar platform games.

But still, I have a VERY positive feeling about this game (as I said in my much earlier comment yesterday) :-)

Ok,
I tried this and ran into a problem. I suppose it could me my machine but anyway. After I jumped on the 1st little turtle and it told me that once freed the turtle would change direction or something but the little turtle very slowly moves and while I can move my character around I found I can even apparently jump of of a spot and disappear forever. And that is all I can do. Casual mode and XP Sp3. As it stands appears I am going to un-install.

Thank you for your feedback. Have you worked through the FAQ's section in the game discussion forums? Also try using Game Booster. It seems a lot of the problems arise when using XP. Try playing it in compatibility mode, also try changing your screen resolution and disabling some of the graphics features via the checkboxes when in compatibility mode.

As someone else mentions, this may be portable, so it may be worth saving just in case you update your computer in the not too distant future.

Installed on my Windows 7 machine with no problems. I tried using the mouse controls for the first few levels and found it very frustrating because of lack control on small movements. Then I switched to the keyboard controls and that solved the problem. I also got the same warning from Microsoft Security Essentials the first time that I closed the game. I like the casual mode, takes off the pressure and lets me enjoy the game more. Thank you GOTD for another fun game.

Turtix Adventure is awesome and fun, but i would like to point out a few bugs. 1) in windowed mode, Turix: Rescue Adventure (misses a t in Turtix). 2) installation folder is 'Turtix Resque Andventure' instead of 'Turtix Rescue Adventure' (two typos). 3) Keeps displaying /2 no matter if more than 2 turtles to save on the level, for example 5/2. See image there: http://www.frenchilada.com/TurtixRescue_Bugs.jpg
