I am having trouble with the game saving on exit--it keeps me saved at 1-9. I can not save anywhere except this either in story or arcade mode. This is a excellent game but I really can't play the entire game in one setting. If you have a patch or resolution--I would be very grateful to know. Thank you

The game runs fine on a netbook (Asus EEE PC 1000HE, GMA945, Windows 7), if you install the latest Intel GFX driver and

1) Run regedit
2) Search and modify all values "Display1_DownScalingSupported" from "0" to "1"
3) Restart the system

New resolution 1024x768 will be available then.#

This is the first chance that I have had to try this game. My boys (aged 6&8) have been playing it and love it. I enjoy it too but I find the fact that there is no gem counter to be rather frustrating. I always try to finish a level at 100%, but there is no way to know if you have found everything until it is too late. Other than that, this game is definitely a keeper =). Thank you for a great game!

I am commenting again on this one. It is indeed addictive but I am having a problem with it. I can not jump to a higher level needed in leve 1-10 after rescueing about 6 little ones.

I watched some youtube vids and they just seem to double jump up to the next level. My turtle does a jump and spin. I can't make him jump to the next ledge.

It would be helpful if the HELP section had more detail about jumping since it's such an important part of the game. My turtle sporatically jumps on gems to get farther but I don't know how or why it happens. I can't do it on purpose.

An excellent game for those who can finish it.

I was intending to post a section on the game over in the forums so that those having problems or who wanted help could post there. It's more likely to be seen by the community and more help forthcoming. If I've not posted anything by tomorrow please do post this prblem you are having in the game discussion forums, there may be someone able to help. :)

WR, just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about getting back to you. I realized that it might take a week or two since I'm heading out of town, so why don't I catch up with you in the forum?

BTW, forgot about the NZXT display -- they're quite nice. Took me awhile to figure out how to change it from the default Celsius to Fahrenheit, but it's a pretty neat gadget. :) Every week or so it beeps (loudly) for about half a second, but I never see a temperature issue and the fans are on auto, so it's kind of annoying.

That's probably the best thing to do. I'll set up a post in the forums later so that you can post there when you're back. Thanks.

With respect to the NZXT display, they actually sent me the wrong one. I originally ordered the slimline version because my case only has three large bays; one of which was for the Blue Ray/DVD player/recorder, one for the Sound blaster X-Fi front panel and the other for the slim line version of the NZXT, but they sent me the one that takes up two bays. I'm intending building another computer next year as I want one with two i7 cpu's and am giving this one I'm using at the moment to my son, so will use the X-Fi sound card and front panel in that and get the basic X-Fi card for my son. I'll also get a different case that has more large bays, lol. Mines an Antec Dark Force 85 case. Wish I'd gone for the next model up but I wanted to spend more money on the cpu and graphics cards.

I had to wait to post my comment until today so I could let my granddaughter give it a go, sorry.

I played it for a little bit and then let her have at it. Both of us liked the game and she played it for some time.
It installed easily in Win7 64Bit, runs smooth and gave no issues.
About the only thing negative I could say is that music that starts if you sit for about 10 seconds or so. My only wish would be that you could turn that feature off.
Good game tho for kids and grandparents alike lol

Hello sugarshar, you can turn the music off by going into options. you'll see two sliders one for music and one for sound effects. you can adjust the in game volume for both from thre. If yo want you can turn the music off entirely by sliding the slider right to the left. :)

You could also change the music for some that you and your granddaughter likes.

to do this yooull need an audio converter tha will convert MP3 or WMA files to OGM ( a form of OGG file). If you don't have one try audacity a free tool that you can download from the following link:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

If you find that one hard to use there are loads more, just Google freeware audio converters, tohugh do be careful not to download from a badly rated site (using WOT or Site Adviser tools (which if you dn't have are also free)

WOT:

http://www.mywot.com/

SITE ADVISER:

http://www.siteadvisor.com/

Once you've converted your preferred music you will need to go to the folder that contains the music files and rename your newly converted files to the same as the ones you are replacing. (I'd back up the originals just in case).

You can find the files in the Turtix\Content\Audio path. You need to find where Turtix is installed to then open up the Content folder, find and open the Audio folder and look for the files that need replacing. for example World 1 through to 5 and probably the Menu file. The rest need to be left alone as they are sound effects.

p.s. there is no need to apologise. Just glad you've taken the time to pot some feedback.
