Thank you GGOTD! Generally I don't like the time management games, but I liked the simple and clear cartoon drawings from the screenshots so I downloaded it and played the game for about two hours. I really love this game, it is not too difficult, not straining to the eyes, the music and the sounds are quite all right, there are tips (that you can turn off) as you go along. It downloaded and activated without any problems on Windows 7 Ultimate and on Windows XP SP3.
Thanks to Sillines for an excellent review of the game and it's problems, I could never say it so clearly and I agree with his comment.
All in all, I very much enjoy this game, thank you Alawar Entertainment and GGOTD. God bless.

I love TM games, especially old school ones like this, so I was excited to see this game today. I have played this game for over two hours and have gotten to the third store. There are a couple of problems with this game. First, there is something wrong with the coding of the customers when going to the cash register. They do not necessarily go straight there and so it makes the Tory character have to spend a lot of time just waiting at the cash register. The customers also have to wait for one particular customer to queue up so there might be three customers waiting at the cash register for one customer to go straight up to the cash register first. It is very frustrating. Also, I don't think the $20,000 bonus machine works in the second store. It is described that it will make the decisions for the grandma, but it never does. There are a couple of levels in the second store that are impossible to get Master level. I have played them multiple times and I get the same score no matter what I do. Maybe I was supposed to choose a different bonus up front in earlier levels, but since I cannot change the bonus I chose in earlier levels for later levels, there isn't much I can do to change things. Another ackward thing in the second store is that I can make master in stores where I have lost customers but stores where I have a perfect score, I cannot make master. It doesn't make much sense. I think this game is a good start, but it doesn't seem to have the bugs worked out. I would have liked to see more bonuses in the game to change the decorations of the store or to have assistants (like to clean up the annoying footprints). It gets kind of boring seeing the same things over and over. For example, it the second store, I had enough money to buy all of the extra items of stock for the store within the first two levels. But then I couldn't afford to buy anything else until the last two levels of that store. That is boring. So the game has potential, but needs to fix the bugs and add things in to make the game less monotonous.

Nice game, but no instructions on how to play. Very robotic in lanes of use. Almost can guess the next move for those of us that play this type of game often. Sorry probably won't be keeping this one. Need more challenge.
I am an occasionally player at 57 years young.

i'm not in a time-management-game mode, so although the ocd in me had to play through five or six levels, i just wasn't into it. it was more interesting than i had expected, though, but absolutely no comparison to royal envoy!
i don't understand the upgrades. maybe the items bring in more money, but i was too busy click'n' 'n' rush'n' to notice. i would recommend making them visibly different to distinguish them from un-upgraded items.
also, the interface buttons looked grayed-out to me. i think they should be more apparent. it wasn't clear that a button should be clicked until i hovered over it and it got slightly brighter. at the first couple levels, i waited on the main screen for something to happen. there was a bright, animated circle to the left indicating what level i was on, but the Start Game button was in the lower right corner looking grayed out. when nothing happened, at first i clicked on the circle because there it was front and center and rotating at me. when nothing happened, i realized i was supposed to click the button.
when i first ran the game, there was no main menu, only background artwork. reducing hardware acceleration fixed it for me (Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > Advanced > Troubleshoot tab. set Hardware acceleration to Disable all DirectDraw and Direct3D accelerations).
the game does not fit on my 1024 x 600 display. setting the display to 1024 x 768 with scaling fixed it but then there were two cursors, an in-game arrow and a system hourglass. at least they were superimposed (unlike for other games), so they didn't interfere with game play.
i'm wrapped up in tomb raider 1 right now, so i'll have to explore tory's shop 'n' rush more later. thanks for offering this, alawar and ggotd. thank you, whiterabbit, for all you do! i hope your move went well. best wishes to you and yours.

Surprisingly, there are no comments yet... Come one guys, if you download it please leave a comment even short...
My comment:
Simple game. You can click on the triple arrows to skip the cartoon strips. The tutorials are simple to understand. It is a simple Time Simulation game in the style of Supermarket Mania but way too simplified to really compare them. However, the music is simple and a bit repetitive. You can restock by clicking on the outline of the object to restock, and then by selecting the correct matching picture.
It's nice for kids, probably more for girls than boys.
To improve this game: improve the graphics a bit and provide more things to buy. Insert a music less repetitive, soothing and a little catchy too. Give some voice or sounds to customers such as nice, good, or too long to make the game a bit more interesting.
Thanks to GGOTD and Alawar for this game. Have a nice day.

Downloaded without problems, runs easily on Windows 7. Graphics lousy, game rather primitive, sort of early time management variant. Getting boring after third loevel in my case. No keeper.
On the scale 0-10 I would give it at maximum 4 points.
