Play our action-packed remake of a classic arcade battle tank game!
In this arcade combat game, you operate a tank and protect your headquarters from a fearsome enemy while enduring 55 intense tank battles that unfold on an imaginary writing desk between amusing kid sketches and office stationery.
Completing the assignment will not be easy because you have to fight off the deadly onslaught of eight different types of tanks and armored vehicles that are out to turn your desk into another Stalingrad.
Survival techniques include taking advantage of the terrain and maneuvering between numerous natural and artificial obstacles while lining up your next shot.

This game wouldn't install on my PC at all which is odd because I once played the demo version of this on the very same PC and found it moderately fun to play and was looking forward to seeing what I'd been missing but hey ho! Not to be.

my husband tried to install and play...for whatever reason, it doesnt work properly. if tries to look at anything other than the main menu page it goes black. no controls page ability,ect. his machine is more modern than mine tho.

After installing this game, a file named setup.exe [Alawar Entertainment Inc] has appeared in: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp and has made multiple attempts to access the internet, which were detected and blocked by my firewall.

Hi Tony! What helps sometimes with these games is upgrading your video driver. Check the video card manufacture and not your computer manufacture. And if it is upgraded, sometimes downgrading works better. Some games just don't like some video cards models, period. I hope this helps.

Good thing this was a free game and I didn't have to buy it. It just crashes every time with a BSOD. Looks fun, too bad it's buggy.

Hi John (#22). When you open up the ZIP file, you will see 3 files inside.
1) Activate.exe
2) Readme.txt
3) Setup.exe
Run the Activate first. If you mess up, you can run it last if the game/program isn't running. Then run the setup one and you should be all set. The readme file just tells you what I just stated in other words.

Crashes on me too, also kaspersky freaked out (hidden install and all), i turned it off, and started the game again and now it starts until it gets to the black screen and then crashes, lame...

Love this game! Works great, and it's so much fun. I turned off the music as well, but LOVE the sound effects. It was like mini-explosions all over my desk-top. Another good one from Alawar and GOTD.

Number 11. Be sure you download, unzip and activate. There are THREE steps and then you will see a verification screen here on Game Giveaway of the Day. It took me a little while to get it too, but it's worth it. Pay attention to the folder you are storing the games in. I created my own GGOTD folder which makes it a snap for me.

Nice - Very playable but addictive. Far far better than the prev tank game.
Note to anyone running a dual screen set-up; disable the second screen or it will crash on startup..

Yep a nice game. I almost bought this about two years ago, Played the demo and liked it, but was hooked on arkanoid games at the time, so spent my money on one of those instead. Nice to see it on the Game give away list. Thank you. My boy is going to love this one.
