Nothing is hard about it at all. No uninstall is better as then nothing is loaded into your registry in most cases, it merely extracts into the relevant directory.

They will then sometimes make a few changes with the graphics and installer to make it their own and let you know where you got it from. Gamehouse, PopCap and Reflexive Arcade are just to name a few.
