The rules of Super Balls are very simple. Select a ball you can see on your screen and click on the open space of the board. The ball will go to the indicated position. After each movement, three additional balls will appear in the field >Next<. Balls of the same color should be set, in order to arrange five of them vertically, horizontally or diagonally. If we succeed in doing so, the balls will disappear and we get points.

When we put more than five balls of the same colour we will get an additional opportunity to use one of the bonuses (one of the buttons below the field >BONUSES<)

I think what you published was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? what if you added a little information? I
ain't saying your content is not good, however what if you added
a headline that grabbed a person's attention? I mean Game Giveaway of the Day - SUPER BALLS is a little plain. You
ought to peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post
headlines to grab people to open the links. You might try adding a
video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about everything've written. Just
my opinion, it would make your blog a little livelier.

Hi,
My problem is, that after installing, it worked well, I had no problems with it, but today it daoes not even start. After clicking twice on link to the .exe file, nothing happens.

Mine works fine. Firstly find where you installed the game to and see if you can start the game from the exe. If not did you keep the read me with the registration code? If you did go to the developers site and download the demo. Install it and regegister the game using the code that was provided. If you just delete the original file and not use an uninstaller you may find that the demo is already register (in case you've already deleted the read me file from yesterday).

Registration code works here. Might be locale issues if it doesn't work. Game's not particularly interesting from a technological point of view, so I won't pursue why the code isn't working for some people.

installed win 7 home premium 64, registered quick (no dam website registrations..a HUGE thumbs up for Me), plays well and is a thought provoker...well done giveaway..well done to the creator.

I gave super-balls the thumbs down. The game works fine but I didn't enjoy playing it solo. It's an electronic version of "Connect Four", but that you play with another player, and at least you have a chance of punishing them for their mistakes.

Another marketing thought for GGD that came to me when I was downloading this. To attract more/better games, you could offer the publisher, along with the free download, the right to make a simultaneous 1 day offer on some other game(s) of theirs (I assume GGD would also likely get a cut). As for this game, since I like puzzle games, this was definitely worth downloading (though who knows when I'll actually play it). Graphics don't matter nearly as much as gameplay for me. At least if they're not too primitive; recently tried playing Betrayal at Antara (1994, from GOG) & that was just too poor of graphics for me.

Decent game. I had one of these style of games on my old Palm device and enjoyed it. On the humorous side, after I installed the game I got a popup browser window that took me to superballs.org. There, I was encouraged to try the Super Clicks puzzle game, which can "HIGLY INCEREASE YOU IQ"! Love it.

Good morning. This game seems like Lose your Marbles, developed by Sega, used by Microsoft (for 98), re-released by Sega as part of Sega PC Puzzle Pack, and now imitated (badly) by others.

If you want the real thing, just use Lose Your Marbles. You can copy the files from 98 onto any Windows version... FYI.

A fun and challenging game.
I agree, a whoosh or similar sound while the ball moves would be a plus.
The color scheme and graphics leave a lot to be desired. The game looks like it is still in development, something given to beta testers.

Graphics are simple but we can be concentrated on the game.

Downloaded and installed fine on my 32-bit XP Pro, SP3.

No probs with cutting & pasting registration info - though the scrolling 'registration screen' was a little off-putting (you have to wait for the 'OK' to become usable, click it, then find the 'settings' in the bottom-left corner in order to enter the required info).

Selecting your country is a bit odd if you live in a double-barrelled place... For example, the United Kingdom is, essentially, under 'K' for 'Kingdom', but it's still written as United Kingdom. And that's not the only one - just the one I noticed because that's where I am.

The different 'balls' you can choose from is an amusing little option, but doesn't affect gameplay at all (I wonder if it'd be possible to create your own..?).

I would prefer somw sound when the 'ball' moves (like Gridinsoft's 'Lines Game') and, perhaps, a background music option.

All-in-all, a more-than-reasonable little game that I'm sure I'll come back to every now and again.

Happy Saturday, have the sasme problem as #2 HARRY, on SYSTEM XPSP3 PC in good shape, but no special graphics, as far as I know no problems with DirectX or videos of all sorts, very good Google Earth, 3D - everything, shall try again, but program's design does not exactly look or suggest brandnew, so what causes this NO Display of balls/tokens on field/board? will see if an answer comes up, just to keep you company, #2! happy "le weekend"--

i put the registration code in that the setup gives u and it says wrong code so what is the code? the code it gave is ... code removed....

I really do like puzzle games (so many people, so many tastes). This one is not really exciting but for me fun enough to play it ones in a while.

The good thing about this game is, that it starts Windowed, though you can play it full screen if you don't mind your desktop being mixed up.

I don't like the graphics though. The GUI looks crowded at randowm with colours of a childs colourdrawing.

Conclusion: game= 7/10 Startscreen= 7/10 GUI= 4/10 Just a game you might play some times.

The tutorial video on the website takes about 2 minutes to get going (because before that it 'teaches' you how to put in your name, year of birth and country in case you didn't know how to do that). It's not even a tutorial as such as it merely highlights the help text already within the program. Rubbish start then.

Name isn't particularly imaginative either. All in all it's so rubbish that I won't even bother playing it, as I already know.

If you tried playing it and got past the cheap looking graphics you may find quite a challenging puzzle game. I've seen better versions of this game, but this one isn't bad, (and I don't particularily like this type of puzzle game).

Downloaded easy Win 7 Utlm. 64. Only problem, you can't copy and paste the registration code, and have to use Giveawayoftheday as the name. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the superclicks offered back in March, but recently lost all of my GGOTD due to a newly formatted machine:( Very glad to have something at all and something different to replace it. Game gets challenging as you play the different modes. Go ahead and turn the ball speed up. Game play was a little smoother afterward. I know there are volume settings for on and off but it really could do without the "uh-oh" sound effect. It was cute the first time, but it is awful...anything else would be better. Game is priced well, has a lot of hours worth of play, and should be suitable for all levels of game players.

Thanks to all involved for a fun game, definitely a keeper.

After downloading and installing I could not see any colors on the playing field. Went to their website and watched the video. It should a video problem fix that I did follow. However, even this did not solve the problem. All I saw was a white playing field and a few colored balls in the upper left hand corner.

Could not get anything to display on the playing field. Appears to be an interesting game. If some of the comments here later in the day provide a fix for this I'll keep the program. Otherwise, it is destined for the REVO uninstall.

Hi Harry, have you updated your video drivers recently? If not try updating them. If you're not sure which video card you have (usually ATI or NVIDIA, though not necessarily so) type dxdiag in the search bar (or run command in XP). That opens up the direct X diagnostics pane. Click on the display tab and you'll see which video card or video chip your computer uses. Go to the developers web site where you'll find a link on the front page that points to the frivers section. Please let us know if the fix worked. Thank you.

The Game

• 4 BALLS - bonus for 13 balls - bonus starts automatically and runs for one minute, during which you can put only four balls in line (instead of five) to disappear.

• BLACK - bonus for 14 balls - bonus starts automatically and runs for three minutes, during which you have three black balls on the board. You can replace any other color with them.

• SUPER BONUS - bonus for 15 balls - all bonuses at one time!

I’m not really into this type of puzzle game, partly becasue I tend to find them frustrating; that said, this game has a plethora of bonuses that make the game a lot more fun to play than other games of this type that I’ve played in the past. I'd recommend you download and try the game yourself as i'm not the best perso to give advice on this type of game. Don't let the simplistic graphics put you off. The game has more depth thyan first appears. (Don't blame me though if you start to pull your hair out, lol)

I'd recommend that the developer gets rid of that annoying squeak when you try to place an illegal ball, or at least give the user the option to turn it off. I'd also add a slider for controlling the volume rather than just a toggle to turn it on or off. Include more skins with the game. also include adequate instructions on how to use the skin editor (that's accessible from the games installed folder or the Start Menu/Programs shortcut. Tomorrows gamegiveaway, a premium game compared to today's offering should appeal to the majority of users who like to play arcade games.
