It's been a few days now since the giveaway, and I've played several games with Sudoku Up 2012. I like many things about it, especially the small window where you can set what the mouse will do. Makes it easy to fill in all the 1's, then the 2's, etc., without having to select a number each time, or even hit the keyboard! Not to fond of most of the backgrounds and board styles, I just want to play the game. The only two things I would change: have a way to record statistics but not pop up the statistics window after every game. I only want to see it once in a while. And... why are the "penciled in" numbers so SMALL? There's a lot of unused space in the box. Why not make the numbers bigger? There shouldn't be a need for more than 5, and if you need that many, you're not ready to put a large number in the square anyway, so show two rows for penciled-in numbers. Just my thoughts, and just in case anyone looks at this 4 days later... Game is a keeper!

Awesome giveaway. I recently got into soduku and I'm addicted. I've never played an online version or an electronic version though. I keep it oldschool with a few books full of puzzles that I bought myself.

What gives? I downloaded and install this game. It worked for a total of 1 day. Today, the file cannot be opened as my system says it is corrupted.

As there do not seem to be any other problems with my system, I can only conclude that there is some bug or weak programing issue going on here. While I liked the program and so did my wife, I would be reluctant to purchase it given this behavior.

For what it is worth, I am running Win 8 64, 24GB Ram, a lot of hard drive space with dual monitors.

Hello Walter,

Try reinstalling it using the demo from CNet. If you've kept a record of the registration code and name it should re register, but you may not need to.

Today is Monday and I thought I would give it one more try. I did the exact same thing using a bogus email and name for registration (I do read the instructions). Voila, I cut and pasted the user name and code that was used yesterday and the game sucessfully registered. I do believe there was a glitch yesterday. Thank you for trying to help us out.

Wow. I frigging LOVE this game! Clean set up, easy on the eyes, controls are smooth. Bravo.

I would love some light breezy music playing option. Or maybe a different congratulation screen option. These are small gripes, I'm very impressed with this game.

Hi, at this late hour and for what it's worth - I would recommend anything from TreeCardGames (I've been purchasing SolSuite Solitaire Licenses for many years now) for their graphics alone! Sudoku and Mahjong might not be my "prime games" from that Company anyway, but if they are as good as Solitaire Collections - being spoilt for choice is almost guarantied:)

Codes are always received by e-mails, sometimes 2, not counting.. "nonsense" agreeing to Subscription Letters (grrrrhh) every time, but it's worth it! Today's reg code, remembering to put Giveaway name, was easy and instant and didn't involve mailing. Thanks GGOTD and TreeCardGames for a pleasant gift:)

It's a bit late in the game but just in case some people come back to check for solutions to activate the game. It's the same activation code mentioned numerous times. The same goes for the exact name to be used BUT it can't be copy/paste! You have to enter the name yourself. At least it's what worked for me.

Thanks a lot for this game, it will make my teenager pretty happy. :-)

Have a great week everyone and God Bless you all.

Everyone who can not register, read RealBull's comment #28

You shall not register the game with the name you provided at their registration Web-site. You can enter anything there, it does not matter, and it is not used in the registration code. We all get the same code, and we all use the same registration name. You can use
Name: whatever
Email: mail@mail.com
This info is not used, and you do not enter it when registering in the game activation dialogue.
The only info you need to register is given in the Web-page you get to after filling in your registration name and email.
Name: Giveaway of the day… (including the date)
just make sure you copy this correctly from their Web-page.
and then the code. Copy it without any leading or trailing spaces.

Thanks to RealBull for explaining the info missing in the readme.txt file.

Well I for one find it to be a great giveaway and I had to work outside in my yard too. I'm sorry Mr. Moderator that your day wasn't that good due to the misleading instructions for activation. For the name to enter they had underlined Giveaway of the day but NOT the day leaving some illiterates like me unable to activate for awhile. Yes, I speak and read English and I read the file 3 times and tried to activate them same. Not until this afternoon upon reading some of the posts from down loaders I saw we had to copy the date as well. Good luck with your remodeling but I really don't know you or your problems or how long you've been around but this seems like a pretty clickey site with people people paying homage to you and all. I just wish you had gotten up a little earlier to address these issues. I hope you're not doing this work for free!

............................Moderator Comment..............................

Hello Dave,

I've been here since the inception of the project back in December 2006 (that's the gamegiveaway side of the project). As for being cliquey, that's a load of rubbish. Those people who have shown support for me know me because of the work I've put into this site for the last several years via my reviews, the times I've spent replying to users queries, the help I've tried to give to many users and the free games project I've been involved in over in the forums, all of which have taken a considerable amount of time out of my life and all of which has been on an unpaid voluntary basis.

I found your use of the word homage and the general undertones in your comment above rather insulting, it showed a lack of understanding. It seems to me you took offense at my suggestion that you and those who had problems activating this game were illiterate. Something I did not actually say; that was your own wording. I suggested that you 'misunderstood'. Why you then have to come back and be insulting just shows your lack of understanding in the first place. As I pointed out somewhere within the above comments, it's a well known fact that many people have problems following instructions; I wasn't being offensive, just stating a fact.

The problem most users have with registration is not reading the read me properly, which is what happened here. There was around 10 000 downloads of this game and around 40 community members having problems. If what you suggested was true we would have been inundated with complaints (despite this being a free service). The registration process was obvious to me and approximately 9160 other community members. As for getting up early, I was up at 4am preparing the review (well in this case a cut and paste) for this game.

Game activated fine on my old XP. Game works fine.
Pros: Lots of options on numbers/symbols/letters/colors, that add a different element to Sudoku puzzles.
Cons: Need to highlight/cross off numbers that are completed. For those of us with ADHD I kept having to go back and figure which numbers I still needed.
All in all a decent game that I wil play in the future.
Thanks GGOTD (Right Wabbit)

I tried entering another name and email, just to test the name sensitivity for the registration procedure at their web. I still got the very same registration code. There is either no connection between the date we give and the code they give us, or they just give the same code to us all. The problem is that this code is no longer accepted for registration. Can someone please fix this, and not just tell us that we don't know what we're doing.

I have installed and registered hundreds of Gigaways over the years, and I'm a computer professional. I know I entered the name and code exacly as on the registration web-page. I checked carefully to make sure there are no extra spaces before or after. It's still not accepted.
Don't you see all the comments from people who can't register. Time to talk to the developers, not just moderate each reply telling us that we don't know what we're doing.

This is a great Sudoku game. I can't believe that people who download games never heard of TreeCardGames, as SolSuite is the best solitaire collection I have ever seen. There is nothing that underhanded about this company that I have ever seen, and only get an email when the game is updated. They do not spam. Poor WhiteRabbit, I don't know how you manage to stay civil today. The directions were simple and direct.
I really like this game but do agree with the one who said that the numbers greyed out would be a good idea when complete.
Thank you GGOTD, TreeCardGames and WhiteRabbit.

[DNQ] WhiteRabbitUK, thanks always for your moderation, help, and patience. Not being much of a gamer myself, your comments are invariably very useful -- and hope you get all settled in soon.[DNQ]

About the activation problem, there may be a communication problem at the root of it, and not lack of properly reading instructions: For me, "Giveaway of the day – April 7, 2013" is NOT 'a name', but 'a name AND a date', so instructing me to copy the 'name' would also lead me to try using just "Giveaway of the day" as the 'activation name'... Like sites which ask for a "user ID" when they mean "e-mail".

The trick to activation is that the name and the code have LEADING SPACES.

I tidily deleted them the first time I tried activating, and got the error message that so many others have. Leave 'em in -- success!

For the record, I used highlight/copy/paste, not re-keying.

Works perfectly well, no problem with registration.
However I would make a version for smaller screens. The pop-up menu disappears at the bottom of my screen (10'') when I try to select the last line of numbers.
But I really like this game and it's just a small issue that I can live with.
Thank you!

I have several of TreeCard games; they are a top quality company and this game is no exception.

I followed the instructions to install and it was easy, ( I play lots of adventure games where one has to use one's mind and I do think that it has paid off, lol)

I am really enjoying this fine program; it has so many options and is so nicely put together; thank you so much , Treecard games AND gamegiveawayof the day!

OK ..... I followed the instructions exactly as directly above - This is not a valid activation code, please try again - I copy and pasted "Giveaway of the day - April 7, 2013" (with out the quotes) and the code from the page exactly as listed - Activation does NOT work

Program uninstalled! Glad I didn't PAY for THIS!!

Hi Al, sorry you've not been able to register the game. Most community members who've registered the game are very pleased with it. some even go as far as to say this is the best Sudoku game they've seen. Personally I'm not into numbers so couldn't say, but overall I've been impressed with the game, the way its been put together and the quality of the graphics and the variety of Sudoku games you can play.

Are you sure you've copied it exactly and not included a space with the activation code? Often when copying codes spaces can be included inadvertently. Please check as this game is worth having; especially for free.

I've just read Al's comment below. go download the CNet version of this game, you may find you'll then be able to register it. :) realbull has posted a link to the download via comment #28

I downloaded and installed late last night. There were no comments yet so I didn't know there was supposed to be a registration problem.

I ALWAYS read the "read me" text file first just in case something is different (because sometimes it is) and this time the instructions were indeed different than usual. So I read and followed them carefully and the registration worked just fine. :)

After reading 75 or so comments this afternoon I'm very impressed by the amount of patience you have whiterabbit! I know that your reviews are very much appreciated by most people (myself included!) and your help and replies as well. Thank you very much for all that you do here! :)

I don't download every game because not all of them are my style but I really like puzzle games so I'm going to enjoy this one a lot.

I was especially attracted by all the different choices in backgrounds, number sets, and all the other ways to customize how the game looks - I absolutely love that! :D

AND - you can even add your own background pictures and your own personal avatar picture too - which is extra awesome!

I have another nice Sudoku game but it doesn't have nearly as many choices for customizing how it looks so it probably won't be seeing very much play anymore. This Sudoku game is now my new favorite - I love it! :)

However - there is ONE thing that I do not like about the game that I HOPE the developers can change. I noticed that the timer starts just as soon as you open the game and that just doesn't seem fair at all. I'd like it much better if the timer didn't start until after you made your first move. (I'm going to request that in the suggestions box)

Other than the timer thing this game is absolutely perfect (in my opinion). I especially love all the different backgrounds and ways to customize it!

Thank you! Thank you all very much! :)

Lynn

Thank you for your feedback Lynn; I must admit I was starting to get a little agitated earlier after repeating the same thing for the umpteenth or so time, but only because its been a hard day and I'm shattered. I was up at 4am this morning putting together todays review (well pseudo review as it didn't have much in the way of original thought), and for a large part of the day was doing stuff over at my new bungalow (trying to get it ready for decorating and building work. We want to move in as soon as possible, so despite my disabilities I'll be trying to do as much as possible to bring forwards our move in date as much as possible. The sooner we move in, the sooner I can start to get income on the property I'm living in now via renting.

Yeah, it works--if you ignore the "copy this EXACTLY" about the name & use a small "d" instead of the capital "D" in "Giveaway of the Day" (as is given in the registration information.) The unwarranted snarkiness being expressed here towards those of us who followed the instructions & still had problems because of this error is a real turn-off.

.........................Moderator comment............................

It wasn't snarkiness Heather it was frustration at the inability of many community members to read simple instructions. As for changing the D to a d, I didn't have to, I just copied and pasted what was posted on the web site after I'd entered my details and the game was registered with no problems, I'm sure it wasn't a capital D. No one else has reported this D to d problem.

I've just spent almost 2hrs 30 minutes trying to catch up on over 60 comments because for the largest part of today I've been rather busy getting my new home ready for the builder and decorating, so getting home to so many unneeded comments was rather tiresome (and I mean un-needed simply because if those community members had read the read me properly they would have easily activated todays game and given me more time with my family).

If I upset you I didn't mean to, so will apologise as its not in my nature to offend people. I should have omitted the Bother from my reply. On reflection it does seem a little off, but I wasn't meaning to be, I was frustrated not irritated (Snarkiness implies irritation and I rarely get irritated). :)

Unfortunately its comments like yours that makes me wonder why I bother doing the work I do here. Most long term community members know the effort I've put in over the past six years here and in the forums.

INSTALLING

I'd like to thank user realbull in comment #28 for pointing out the CNET download. I downloaded this on two different computers, a Window 7 64-bit desktop and a Windows 8 32-bit desktop and the download from this web site would not run on either computer. Instead, after seeing the GOTD message, "Activating..." it simply said "Failed to launch the program" and quit.

However, the trial version downloaded from CNET worked fine, then I just followed the directions in the README file from the failed download and got it registered on both computers.

STARTING

I've played Sudoku in many forms (paper and electronic) and on several devices including Android phones and tablets. I've seen several clever variations and was wondering what more I could see in yet another variant of the game.

The first thing I was presented with, a user picture, was a little strange I thought. I'm used to just solving a series of puzzles--why do I need a picture representing me staring at me while I solve a puzzle? But it later dawned on me it's where this program extends beyond just a simple puzzle for self-challenging, you can compare your scores with others. So does it tie into social networking, like linking Facebook accounts or something? No, just other users on the computer it's installed on. OK, that's nice, but not terribly useful or difficult to incorporate. It's also very easy to do in a spreadsheet on your own if the game doesn't include it.

Yes, there are lots of colors as mentioned previously, several different font styles of the numbers, and you can even change the grid coloring and style. I guess it's nice looking, but not a real big selling point.

I noticed that wherever possible, the developer used standard Windows controls and dialog boxes for displaying messages and selecting colors and backgrounds. As a programmer myself, I do the same thing when writing custom business applications--it saves work when you can use routines already written. But for developing games that are supposed to be appealing visually, nearly everything presented to the user should be customized and beautifully decorated with a theme or cute borders or something. Yeah, it takes a lot more work, but I've seen free versions of Sudoku take look-and-feel of the game play and software options much further than this one does.

PLAYING

I found a way to cheat the system pretty quickly. When playing Sudoku, I solve the puzzles by finding and filling in numbers where there is only one possible choice, eventually narrowing down the choices for other cells until the whole grid is filled. A common technique is to pencil in the possible choices for a cell so that you can tell quickly when a cell's choices have been reduced to only one possibility. It takes some doing to pencil in those numbers but it's part of the challenge. This game has a feature called, "Auto Pencil Marks" that turns this challenge into a simple task of filling in the blanks. I've never seen that in a Sudoku game before and of course you don't have to use it if you want the challenge, but you should be aware of this "cheat" if you're pitting your solving skills against someone else in the user list.

Completing a grid is at first a little anti-climactic with a simple Windows message: "Congratulations! The game is won." Seriously? That's it? Then there's very short winning sound and you're taken to the Top Scores list so you can see how you placed among the dozens of other names already there (where did they come from? I just installed the game!). And even though I used the "cheat mode" and got the very best time of all, I'm at slot 13 with a score of 108--nowhere near the highest score of 200. That's confusing. Finally, after I've seen that and clicked OK, the sound of applause comes out my speakers and numbers start doing wheelies around the screen in a similar vein to winning Solitaire way back in Windows 95.

So I won't vote a thumbs down for this software, but it is a little cheesy and definitely not something I personally would spend any money on. But then again, I have used a huge variety of software for a long time (and mostly business software at that) and don't give cute graphics the praise that others may enjoy.

What a nice game is this. Plenty of possibilities to suit everyone.

It's nice to be able to use the pencil. I also like that you can put any picture in and don't have to use the standard ones.
There are 2 minor things though:
- I don't like the picture in the bottom corner, you can click it away but when you start a new Sudoku it's there again.
- The pencil numbers don't disappear when you put the proper number in.

But thanks very much GGOTD and TreeCardGames for game.

I was also having problems activating this game. And I did read all the information. I noticed that the last letter on the activation code was not appearing after I copied the code. It was missing when I pasted it onto the line asking for the code. I had to manually insert this last letter myself and then it worked.

For those folks experiencing difficulty registering this game, here is what FINALLY worked for me on a Win 7 Home 64 bit system. I tried the copy & paste routine multiple times using the correct name and registration code, but the game would NOT register and I received the error code message that the name and activation code were not valid. So, instead of a copy/paste, I manually keyed in BOTH the correct registration name "Giveaway of the day – April 7, 2013" w/o the quotes and the registration code that is displayed when you complete the registration page @ http://www.sudokuup.com/sp/gotd/sudoku_up__game_giveaway_of_the_day.htm and the game successfully went through its activation routine.

Can't get the activation code - like most commentators. Since nobody answers, what the use of a comment?

............................Moderator comment..........................

You need to be a little more patient Rootkapje. Someone always answers, just not every 20 minutes or so at the moment. I don't get paid for doing this job and at the moment I have a lot on, so can't be here 24hrs a day throughout the weekend. I always try to moderate fairly. The trouble with todays activation is that its different from the norm.

If community members took just a minute or so (less time than its taken me to write this answer to you) to read the instructions properly they would have no problems activating this game. I've just come home to over 60 comments than needed moderating, it's taken me two hours to answer them all. Virtually every one of them is about the same issue. It's not the game, or the activation method, its the inability of many members to read instructions properly.

finally had husband help me and he had fun with it too, but it DOES work in Win 8 64 bit and part of the problem was that it was leaving out the last 'letter' in the activation code...by shifting one character to the left, who knew? this happened when I copied and pasted.
also did anyone notice that there were highlighted words on the page, and they were so annoying - wanted me to download all kinds of bad stuff. had to keep moving off them. the download activation site is not a great site to use.

Just to let anyone else having an issue with the activation of this game (which I was also having a problem with)

You can USE THE LINK IN THE README FILE that you will find when you unzip the download to get to the activation site.

Enter your name and email address and the next page will give you the activation code and the name to use to activate the game. You DO NOT enter your name in the name box (which I kept doing) the name has to be Giveaway of the day – April 7, 2013 (just highlight it and past it into the activate page (which you can also find by clicking on the help tab of the game itself) and enter the code that you also got on that Free Activation Code page.

Activation is a bit different than other items that have been available here but once I realized that I needed to enter
Giveaway of the day - April 7, 2013 in the name box and the activation code in the box below that all was fine. (I kept entering the name that I put in for getting the activation code and once I did some searching here for other posts regarding the activation and really paid attention to the activation code page it was EASY!)

Also once you have activated the game it is no longer the trial version. (at least I wasn't the only one having an issue with the activation process!)

To the community you'll have to excuse the sarcasm creeping into some of my answers to members queries; answering almost 50 posts with the same query is a little tiresome. :)

Tried to install using instructions in readme file. Used two different email addresses and names - says the registration code is invalid. Not going to bother with this one.

.................................Moderator Comment...........................

Hello KD, you aren't reading the instructions properly . you don't use your name but the one provided by the vendor once you've filled the form in.

i.e.

I entered the name into the form twice just as it was shown.. no activation. Finally I just did a copy and paste of the name and then the code. It finally took it that way.

I got it activated but not easily. I carefully copied the name/code from the page and the first 2 tries it failed. The first time, the paste into the field inserted a blank in front of the text. I did NOT include that blank, the paste put it there. Even after removing it, it failed. How it finally worked, I have NO idea but I got it set and then "adjusted" to my preferences.

It's an OK Sudoku game but I think Greek Squares by KaserGames is the best version.

I'll keep it and I did give it a "thumbs up".

Activation doesn't work in windows 8 64 bit. I've tried it several times and it only rejects it. Clearly like others I don't like giving my email address only to find the activation doesn't work. I should add I've done this many times with other offers and this is the first time I've questioned he honesty of the game provided.

trial version is all you are going to get. No support for your question either. They seem to be deleting all posts as of 5:30 this morning.

.........................Moderator comment.........................

No they weren't deleting posts. Posts are never deleted out of hand; the only posts that I ever delete are those that have inappropriate language and even then I only usually edit the language out. I've just been out of the house for a good part of the day so wasn't able to moderate, so many posters may have thought their posts had been deleted, but those that know me know that I always moderate fairly.

To register the game use the following name and date exactly:

Giveaway of the day – April 7, 2013

p.s.

The moderation is carried out by volunteer moderators, apart from one other moderator who only visits once or sometimes twice a day, there's only me. Sometimes I have family matters and for the next few months I'm going to be quite busy at weekends, but i'll still be moderating. Once I get an internet connection to my new house I'll be able to moderate more often again.

I have bought and updated SolSuite from Tree Card Games for years. They are a quality company. I haven't finished the first puzzle yet but I'm enjoying it. Don't be concerned about giving your name and email address. Every now and then I might get an email from the but it's not often.

For those that are getting the trial version, did you follow the directions in the readme file? Mine registered just fine.

Good evening,

Thank you, but this time I shall uninstall just after sending this comment, because :
- I dont want to give my @dress to register but also receive alwayus more spams
- I solved my first party, then I tried a "very difficult" one : n° 549876501... It's not very difficult it's impossible ! Try to put the "1" in the row n° 5 !
And they want money ???

Cordially

=> bricolou : amuses-toi bien !

Dear Jean, You don't need to use your own email, just use one of those junk emails as you get the code and name via the vendors website once you've posted your details. :)

First, I would like to say that over all the game is great and thanks GotD and TreeCardGames for allowing me to try this game.

However, I have four suggestions for this game: The numbers could be greyed out on the number toolbox when they are no longer needed. So if you fill in all of the 8's then it should grey out on the toolbox.

Also, I would prefer if a game would not start immediately or at least have an option to turn that off. What if I want to change difficulty first or change options within the game prior to starting a puzzle? Why should my configuration time be counted against me?

Can we get the ability to display the timer on the puzzle so we have an idea of how long it is taking us to solve it instead of waiting for the score box at the end?

And lastly, the scoring system appears to be broken. I received the highest score for the day on Easy when it took me 14 minutes longer to solve the puzzle. Should the fastest time be awarded the most points?

Oh, and for those people that are having a hard time activating the game, it means the Giveaway name supplied with the key not your name that you used to register for the key on the previous page. That part was confusing for me as well.

not sure why, but seems to be some issues installing and activating, so some must have missed it at the beginning of whiterabbit's post
1. download and unzip the file, click on the setup.exe and follow the setup wizard to install the program
2. a web page will open when you install the program-ignore it. you will also be asked if you want to open the program (game), for ease I recommend yes. if not, you will have to browse to the game on your computer and open it
3. the game will open, you will have to choose your character icon, and it will say it is a trial version and you only have one shuffle-don't worry! don't close the game, just leave it opened
4. open up the readme text file in the original download zip file, copy the url in the readme text file, paste into your browser and go to the site
5. you will be asked to enter your name and email address and when you submit you will be taken to a page that says "Here is your
FREE Activation Code of Sudoku Up:" It has a NAME and an ACTIVATION CODE
6. in the game, go to help, then click "activate sudoku up" (I did not see any menus, including help, in the game until after I selected my character icon)
7. copy the NAME from the website in step 7 and paste into the name field on the game activation page, then copy the ACTIVATION CODE from the website in step 7 and paste into the activation code field on the game activation page, click ok-the full version of your game is now activated

Now for the game:
Lots of visual customization for numbers, letters, images (instead of numbers or letters in the puzzle), backgrounds, skins, etc. You can enter pencil marks, have all possible pencil marks pre-filled, marks disappear when a number is entered, etc
What I did notice, which is an option a beginner might want and is missing in this game, is that there is not a setting that you can turn on that will let you know if you enter an incorrect pencil mark or number (if it is conflict with an existing number).
These are standard 9x9 puzzles with 5 difficulty levels. There are no game variations such as mentioned in whiterabbits post.
So overall I think it is a nice looking sudoku game that functions well but is fairly basic in gameplay.

Hi Rochelle, thanks for your feedback. Part of the problem was I wasn't able to moderate for most of today, but also many community members just don't read the instructions fully or properly. todays activation was different from the norm, which has probably confused many. I've been working on trying to answer everyone's queries for nearly 2 hours now with no breaks (over 60 comments since I arrived home two hours ago)

No solution for the bad activation code yet? That's a bad sign. It's been over 8 hours since the release. How long does it take to repost the correct code?

..........................Moderator comment............................

You were provided with the correct code. as for responding quickly, I'm a volunteer and at the moment I'm extremely busy with sorting a new house ready for moving into. I can't visit my computer every 20 minutes or so like I've often done all weekend in the past.

Did you bother to read the instructions properly. You don't use the name you initially inputted into the form that you were asked to fill out, you use the name and date provided once you've submitted your personal information. You can use one of those junk emails if you wish and even a false name because the activation code and name will be given to you via the vendors web site.

activation code: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX

Unfortunately its been shown time and time again that the majority of people don't read instructions properly. Have you ever done that exercise where you get a list of instructions, many of which are really stupid like stand on your desk and shout out your name, do a bunny hop etc., but the very first instruction tells you to ignore all instructions from number 2 onwards. It's amazing how many ignore the first instruction and then make a complete fool of themselves. It's much the same in today's situation, where the activation is actually quite simple, only it's different to the norm, most community members seem to go blind and ignore the instructions given in the read me provided with the download.

WhiteRabbit, it appears comment 9 came through as spam. Weird.

Anyways TreeCard Games outdid themselves on this Sudoku Game with easy to play boards and excellent animation and backgrounds. Its one of the only companies that really put time and thought into their games. If you seen Hoyle Games 2013 (The series) It seems the developer could use Tree Card Games help to create a nice version of the Hoyle Series, what do you think?

.......................Moderator comment...............................

I agree. I've rarely seen such thought put into the graphics w.r.t. Sudoku games. TreeCard Games certainly did out do others on the design of this game. :)

Fantastic game play with the ability to pencil in and out from the floating menu or the toolbar. Add the option of grid size, ie 2x2,3x3,4x4,5x5 - also add the where it's 5 standard games linked by the middle game, sometimes called super Sudoku.
