Hi, I just got version 1.13. Does anyone know how to get the catapult to the templer knights??

I absolutely love Styrateg. I already played it clear through with one character since downloading it. So now I know I want to try it using each of the available characters and probably eventually arranging to let different of my characters the game adds die early just to see how few I can get through with and still win. The only thing that I was hoping was that the game was longer. I couldn't believe I'd finished it all so soon. I expected another quest to pop up. Maybe you could work one up with multiple quests and multiple endings.

I think the time limit is there to keep you from leveling endlessly.

Does anyone know how you gain HP in this game?

If anybody else is annoyed by having a time limit on every level then here is how to switch it off. Press the ` key then type this into the console:
$player.turn = -999;

OK, anyone stuck on level 9?

I get 4 pieces of the map, but can't find the 5th one... a wizard in the tower tells me "bring me a scorpion statue" but I can't find that either...

I've been all over the board, killed everything, explored every ruin, cave, farm, etc to no avail...

thanks for this game. downloaded and activated it yesterday, and keep going back to play my saved games. Have been waiting for a good RPG for some time now at GOTD. Great Job!

For those having issues with the gameplay window being only a tiny square in the corner--try changing the video settings from OpenGL to D3D and change the resolution. I changed both of these settings and the game was then full-screen as it should be.

Same problem as comment #26--gameplay area only appears as a tiny square in the upper left corner. Impossible to play.

Forgot to check the site yesterday, so I missed out...

But I downloaded the demo a few days ago and had the same problem as #19 and #26. I Googled around and found that it was a known problem for a beta version. The 'problem' is that your screen resolution isn't supported by the game. Select your preferred resolution in the options menu, then unselect full screen mode. You'll probably have to restart the game.

well, it downloaded and installed beautifully. it works, full screen on my computer useing the D3D setting rather than the original setting. should be fun. how was the addition of the german section? hope it went well.

Is there anyone here who can help me unzip this game? I've tried 7-zip and my standard Windoz programs but to no avail. I'm told the files are absentor corrupted. 7-zip says it cannot open the file as an "archive". I've downloaded at least 4-5 times and tried "open" instead of save, but no good...

Nice game, installed and runs fine. Not sure why it won't run full screen for some. Possibly delete, redownload and reinstall to fix.

Nice medieval music but repetitive after a while, continuous looping needs a longer track than the one in this game. Changeable options for what to show, difficulty level, etc., and of course option to save a game. Saved games reload fine, no problems.

RPG strategy fans are no doubt happy to see something from their favorite genre for FREE, but wonder how many of them would have actually purchased this one? Hardcore fans of commercial RPG/strategy games are likely to be disappointed in the graphics, especially the characters, and that repetitive track.

Today it's free but on any other day RPG/stategy fans would be happier putting their $20 toward a commercial game with better graphics and sound, especially with so many from last year in the bargain racks. Somebody mentioned Age of Empires, that entire three game set has lately been available at several retail stores for less than $30. With all that in mind, this is fine for free but to call it "the best game up so far" is a stretch.

I have the same problem as quixote (#26). I've tried everything I can think of.. No support makes it difficult. But, oh well.. Looks like it would have been a good game, nevertheless

My computer freezes everytime I pick the character and go to the next screen it shows a bunch of multicolored lines then goes to the screen like it's going to let me play with my character and the trees and stuff but then it freezes completely. I have to actually turn the whole computer off by hand it won't even reset. Any suggestions? I really would like to play this game, I've wanted it for awhile.

Finally, an RPG! Not to belittle the arcade style games you guys keep putting up, but RPGs have always been my favorite genre.

I liked the look of the game, loved the music, but had trouble getting the game itself to display on the full screen. Instead, it filled perhaps a square inch of the upper left hand part of the monitor.

This was probably MY problem, not the problem of the game manufacturer. It look like another good game from your site.

I was hoping this one would come up too. Fun and different game that I will continue playing. Great job GGOTD

From scale 1-10 I give this game a 9, al very little part which may me better is the music, it repeats and repeats, I've played the game severial hours now, but I really begin to get bored of the music.

But I still wanna say that this is an amazing game!!

And while we're suggesting games- Armadillo Run is one of the very best indie games out there, it retails for £9.99 and plays like a more freeform, intuitive version of "The Incredible Machine"... If you managed to get that up on here I'd be massively impressed.

I truely love these kinda games, Thanks alot for it. I do have one question about it though. I'm trying to play it and it the play field is about 1/32 of my screen and the rest of it is just white except for the control panel to the side is regular size. Is this how the game is supose to look or do I need to configure it someway?

OK, I give up. Where is the valley to the west so I can escape the first (!) level? I keep walking around and cant get anywhere. Then I run out of turns and lose. Arrrrrgh.

I personally wouldn't say it's the best game so far, but it's okay and different from what we've been getting so far. I was suprised to see it on offer as it had been one of the games shown regularily on the side. I thought being one of the distributors top games it wouldn't have been given away, so I'm really impressed with their generosity. Thank you very much for another genre to add to the library of games.

I've no idea what I'm doing in the game (playing the hard game), but it looks good and will be undoubtly great. In comparison with most offered games a great one. So in a scale from 0-10 I give the program 9 points. (By the way ideas for other kind of games: what about cardgames like Poker, really difficult Sudoku (as 25 by 25) games, chess, checkers etc.?)

I don't like such games but I think many ppl will appreciate this offer anyway..

Can anyone tell me why this wont run for me? It installs and then after I double click the shortcut I get the hourglass for a few seconds then nothing. I even deleted it and tried again.
