In Brief:
A asteroids/missile command like game from KirillGross Pro, where you pilot a ship that moves around the earth, shooting incoming asteroids. Let too may asteroids hit the earth and it explodes into nothingness. Earn cash by destroying the asteroids, then upgrade your ship (up to three time)s by spending your hard earned currency on one of three ships varying in price from 500 to 1500 credits. Each ship has different turning speeds, number of weapons shot force and firing rate. The more expensive the ship, the better prepared you'll be to fend off the asteroids from hitting the earth. You can see your planets health via the indicator in the bottom left of the screen.

According to the developers intro on itch.io, there's supposed to be a coop mode to play with friends locally.

You can turn off the music or change it via the buttons in the lower right of the screen

You can see a video of game play HERE.
Controls:
Ship Rotation = A & D
Shooting = Left Mouse Button
Delete Saves = Ctrl+D
Restart = R
Pause = Escape
Conclusion:

Space Ripper is a simple asteroid like game with overtones of missile command; however, the game mechanic leaves you wanting for more after a few rounds. According to the developers introduction, there is supposed to be a local multiplayer option, but I cannot find any evidence of this. I also had to use Alt+F4 to turn off the game.

It may be introduced later in the game, but too be honest, I found the game wanting and couldn't face playing for more than just over 25 minutes. So I would say, this is another coffee break game that you could play occasionally.

Whiterabbit-uk,

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 57 antimalware engines. You can see the results of the installed games scan via the following link:

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/9dbada94662b4623b3fd4d532093a0078ed4f31d54b4b766cccb44b7552e9c6c?nocache=1

If you're still not convinced of the games efficacy and want to be absolutely sure that the game is safe to install, please use a sandbox program first, to check that the game is safe to install before installing it to your C drive or other drives on your computer (assuming you have more than one drive). Personally I've never had any issues with any of falcowares games, even when the Falcoware installer was included a few years ago (now removed from all games). There are free sandbox programs such as Sanboxie, GeSWall, BitBox, Windows Sandbox, Bufferzone (a six month commercial license was given away via the applications side of the project back in December 2009 HERE), Shadowzone, as well as others. (You'll find them all on the same page from Techwhoop.

Whiterabbit-uk,

You'll find (fairly) regularly updated details of all the reasonable game deals and freebies that I can find HERE.

The latest free Epic game is Man Eater, which you'll find HERE - You start as a small shark pup tasked with surviving the harsh world around you, while eating your way up the ecosystem. To do this you explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies - both human and wildlife. This game will cease to be free Thursday 4pm UK/11am Eastern Thursday 16th June when we will be getting Supraland, a first-person Metroidvania Puzzle game. The main sources of inspiration are Zelda, Metroid and Portal.

There's a new Capcom Summer 22 bundle available from the Humble site that for a minimum of £15.20 you'll get MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD, Devil May Cry 5, Devil May Cry HD Collection, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, DmC: Devil May Cry, Ultra Street Fighter® IV, Street Fighter V, STRIDER™, Bionic Commando plus two 50% off coupons for Monster Hunter Rise and to upgrade Street Fighter V to the - Champion Edition

Also available from the Humble site is the latest choice bundle that went live on Tuesday 6th June and for under £9 you'll get an Origin key for Star Wars: Squadrons (an excellent space shooter, but not as good as X-4: Foundations), and Steam keys for Phoenix Point: Year One Edition, Call of the Sea, GameDec, Pumpkin Jack, Siege Survival: Gloria Victis, I am Fish, and Superhot: Mind Control Delete. If you subscribe to the Humble Choice bundle you can suspend it from moth to moth if you don't fancy any or most of the games on offer, however, they always add a wide range of choice, so that's unlikely to happen.

On an unrelated note, as of 12:21 PST on 6/9/22 Capcom is generously offering a copy of Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior DLC on Steam, Playstation Network, XBOX Store and Nintendo E Shop. You have to download the base game first and you'll get 1943 which is an awesome old school shoot em up for free, then you return to the store and add the Street Fighter game to your cart. I have no idea how long this offer lasts for but I already own all the games in Stadium on Steam and XBOX but I recently got a Switch Lite and was able to redeem this offer.

I found this to be an interesting take on a combo between Missile Command and Asteroids. I'm glad you posted the controls as at first I was not able to figure out how to pilot the ship around the earth. The graphics are very simplistic and for a file size of 144 mb I think it's the 3D textures they use. There are other clones of Asteroids out there that are much smaller in file size including the official Asteroids which you can find on Arkadium here:

https://www.arkadium.com/games/atari-asteroids/

There are a few other Atari games on there although they appear to be remakes. Be aware however that the site has heavy advertising in browser unless you subscribe to their site.

Today's giveaway was just too slow paced for me being that I love arcade games a lot and even the original Asteroids was much faster in pace than this game was. But for those who may be new to this genre, it may right for them to adapt to train your mind and play some of the more faster paced clones.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,

Thank you for your feedback Jason, I'm 'starting' to look forward to your informed opinions,

Again thank you for taking the time to post here.

p.s.

Do you like space oriented games and more importantly Star Wars? I have a spare Origin key for Star Wars Squadrons which you can have if you think you'll play the game. I got it from the latest Humble Choice bundle, but already bought the game last year via CD Keys for the amazing sum of £0.39 when they were offering it with 99% off. Let me know and I'll send it via Steam messenger.
