I agree, this is a game that needs to be held in your hands. I need to be able to twist and turn much to much. The computer makes it very hard to do this.

I also found that to turn a segment of the wheel you do use the mouse buttons as the help file states, but the trick is, that you have to hold the respective button down to make the move!!! Took me a while to figure that out! Duh! Without having played the game much, I would have to give the game an enthusiastic thumbs up, now that the control issue seems to be out of the way.

I realize that this comment is probably too late to help anyone, but I noticed that when you take the cursor outside of the playing area, you are then able to rotate the entire cube at will.

Hi Laura (#32)! Nope not here. I am running Rubicon.exe from the Rubicon Games folder. Still Memory access violation. Nothing in the Event logs either. Just a message box with this error message and that is it.

I thought that I would try this because I love Rubik's Cubes. The problem is you can't replace a "hands on" cube with a virtual one, especially with difficult controls. I also received the Memory access violation. :(

I have a cable connection so I'm always connected and my firewall came up, but I clicked Allow.
