i'm loving this game. out of all of the games i've taken from GOTD, this is one of the select few that i will be keeping (at least for a little while). thanks so much :D

also #35 kyle, i saw that problem too. how the total score isn't carried over between levels, but stays at 0 the whole time. however, it doesn't bother me all that much, but i understand we all have our pet peeves. hopefully someone helps you out with the problem. i just wanted to address that you weren't the only one with that problem.

#34 (Patrick) - The program connects to the internet when it is activated to check if the giveaway offer is still available. Once the program is activated - it shouldn't need to connect again.

HELP!

When I play the classic mode it won't carry my total score. It will show me the score for the current round, but the Total Score is always ZERO. This is extremely frustrating.

Can anyone help????

If you liked the first Phantasia you'll love Phantasia II! Same excellent music and nice graphics but everything is enhanced.

Same cute dwarves and story line but graphics are enhanced with more detail added to the bubbles, which are not just bubbles anymore. New shapes have been added, which makes things interesting. While playing look closely at the background, the rock wall even has moss growing on it! Terrific attention to detail, it really looks like a wall inside an old damp and dark castle.

Two new modes of play in addition to the original and 30 levels for each, for a total of 90. The green belted balls from the original (that could clear a whole row) can now be shot directly to work, you don't have to wait for them to drop anymore. Same with the bomb balls. But there's still others that drop and can be caught and then used. Don't be fooled though, just like the first Phantasia lower levels are pleasantly easy but the upper levels on this one are quite challenging ...you have to be quick and can't make more than one wrong move. There's still coins to catch for added points but gems have been added as well.

Between the cute story line, nice graphics, absolutely beautiful music, and attention to detail this is one well-thought out game. Original concepts mean it's definitely not your average bubble shooter. Don't worry that all these additions might mean the game is huge. Even with the two additional play modes and enhanced graphics Phantasia II doesn't take up much more disk space than the first Phantasia. Very enthusiastic thumbs up! Thanks GGOTD and 300AD.

Larry #14 - Sounds like your PC vertual memory may be low. I'd re-boot my PC. (After removing the game) Then I would download the game again. Don't run the game until you get the "Activation confirmation" screen. If you run the game w/o activation, you'll only get the "trial" version. After the actviation, you'll have the full version that's yours to keep. - Good luck !

I guess this is what this site is all about. A bunch of us tried Phantasia 1 and loved it. Today we see another quality game from the same publisher. Now 300AD has a reputation, and we'll all look forward to their other non-giveaway games.

I downloaded the game twice but everytime I try to play the game it puts an error up saying buffer overrun detected which has corrupted the game must terminate.Any suggestions?Anyone.

Tyler, it shouldn't ask you to buy it. You are supposed to get the full version. Maybe yours never got activated? Reinstall it before the giveaway period ends. It should automatically activate itself at the end of the installation.

thank you for posting this game i really love it,the only bad thing is after a few levels it stops and it wants you to buy it and register it and i dont have the money for it right now but other then that i love it,and thank you for posting all of these games here i look forward to coming here every day now

I loved phantasia, but when I saw that the second version with the arkanoid like gameplay as part of the package was being given away today, well my heart missed a beat as I nearly bought it, but thought I'd wait a short while, just in case you did the same thing as you did with the Brave Dwarves games from before Xmas. Thank you very much for both games. They are fantastic. And also thank you very much "300AD games" you'll surely get my custom when I'm ready to buy updates or some of the latest games.

Man, the last few days have been great, starting with Troll the other day, yesterdays aqua word, which the kids have been playing this morning and is really addictive and finally this one. Yeeaahh

I loved the first Phantasia. This game is great too. The three modes are very simple to play yet challenging. The graphics, music, and sound effects are nice too. I especially like the way it tracks your level and scores: auto saving it to a specific player. But if someone else wants to play, they can just select another player and have their scores and levels saved too. Fun and simple :-) I had to tear myself away just to post this comment.
