Nice to have 3 different levels of play, good game definitely worth the price. Oh, wait, it was free so even better! If you like match three type of games this is entertaining.

I got this the last time around and still play it. The screams of the little guys falling cracks me up. I do have to agree that the largest explosions cause a stutter of the graphics, like they can't keep up with the sound. I have so much fun until I reach that point. When that effect plucks my last nerve, I finally stop playing.

Thanks GGotD and 300AD. You still make me laugh.

Downloaded and enjoyed.
Here is a general overview of what i thought.

Graphics: For this type of game, the graphics are great. They make a good impact, and aren't large CPU hogs. I found that everything looked good and ran smoothly. 9/10

Gameplay: When i first downloaded, i thought it to be another breakout clone. I was quite wrong, with it being considerably different. The rush to grab the falling coins to get more points was quite fun too, and added a unique feel to the game. 9/10

Sound: The game itself is small in file size, so sound couldn't be given super high quality or whatever. However, i found that the game sound was made to fit what was happening on screen quite well, and the timing was perfect. 8/10

Replayability: This game has 90 different levels. The good thing about Phantasia 2 is that it has a scoring system, so you want to go back to get an even better score. So yeh, i would play this again and again. 9/10

Overall thoughts:
I loved this game, and its so good to see small developers making games that aren't focused on showing off the latest shaders or HDR or bloom enough to set your puppy on fire. Gameplay is what people these days often forget about. I mean, come on, seriously, ive had enough of the same World war 2 FPS, its boring, seriously. And to those that say
"but call of duty 3 was different from 4", well, you are wrong, so so wrong. Phantasia 2 was a pleasure to play. Keep up the good work guys, and thanks giveawayoftheday.com, you make my studying fun.

Score: 8.75

This great game kept me up till 3am.... just couldn't stop playing till I'd completed each level.... I think it is designed for 5 - 10 years old ... but I found it easy but challenging and addictive. Thanks GAOTD.

#72 McAfee also popped up an alert that the game wanted to access the internet. I just blocked the application and it runs fine. That said, the game's ok, especially "classic mode," but I'm not a fan of the constant, "help! help!" screams from the dwarves. It's a bit annoying. And I also have slowdowns during big explosions on my 3.2 Ghz Pentium 4 system with 2.5 GB RAM and a 7600 GT card. It's playable and it's reasonably entertaining, especially for quick gaming bouts, so thanks GGOTD!

It's a really good game. I found modes 1 and 3 to be the most fun. There are some bugs, but they don't affect game play too bad.
