I like this one. The graphics are a little too cartoony, but the game play, particularly on the Expert level is definitely a winner. I went back and played it on three different occasions yesterday. "Come BACK here, Blue Fish!!!" :D

I am on fast internet and all I get is 5-10 kps on either downloads - so did not download :(

I am having fun with game, HOWEVER this one is not free...it is just a one hour trial like you can download anywhere. I am dissapointed...if there is a way to fix this I would like to be notified.

Thanks SheepArcade & GGOTD for another nice game. I had a little trouble the first time I tried to activate but tried a second time using the advice given here. Be sure to use Giveawayoftheday as the name(note that there is no Game in that name & be careful to use correct upper & lower case letters, no spaces in the name & dashes in the key). Use the entire key code including that extra letter on the last line that you need to scroll down to see.

Thanks #26 for explaining the extra reg code character. I got it working now. This is a pretty fun game -- thanks for stepping up to the plate, SheepArcade, looking forward to checking out your other offerings.

first post , second game from here. I 'm a former tetris fan and this game is reelly nice. I kept entering my info for the registration key wrong. Missing that x at the end.

a different slant on Tetris; the same shapes, but need to insert them into "cracks" that appear in the side of the ship to repair it.
Different coloured fish offer assorted bonuses/penalties (red fish causes shapes to rotate the other way) *if* you can catch them; a bit frustrating with the resultant odd shapes that can't be filled, but magic blocks available, and also all gaps seem to fill if several shapes are placed quickly. Must work to keep ship crack-free (it slows down if there are too many), and beat the timer to the destination. Loads and obstacles vary ("Hettites" wanting to sink the ship).
At first I couldn't find a way to pause/exit the game while playing, but then found that esc worked.
Note to developers: I dislike games that come with high scores filled up with scores at 100 or 100 point intervals. Worse when the scores are so high that it's nearly impossible to get onto the high score list, let alone top score (and my mother doesn't like games where you can't clear the high score table, either)

While I saw the link between Carpentry and Navigatris almost immediately, the fact is that Navigatris uses four units per piece, unlike Y!PP's five, and the holes are dynamic instead of static, also, in Y!PP, you can get Masterpiece!'s, etc; by filling up the entire thing without overlapping- overlapping pieces would make Navigatris so much easier!

But you can't.

This somehow makes it more challenging. The fact that you work on a whole ship at once, and you can't flip the pieces left to right and that you don't get a duty report should be sufficient for you to figure out that this game has nothing to do with Puzzle Pirates, while we are also all aware that Y!PP is free, for subscription oceans you need to pay $9.95/mo and you need to buy dubloons on dubloon oceans before you can actually do anything fantastic.

Don't judge the game by the screenshots [even though I do that all the time I always download it and try it before I give it my final verdict], it is very fun, the animation is clean and smooth and the English *could* use a little touching up. Allow me to use a phrase I stole from the original GAOTD for anyone complaining-

"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

All good things seem to come to an end. This game would not validate after loading and install. Got all the advice from you guys. No dice.

For you fellas at GGOTD... attempt the download before you offer, please. If it doesn't work without having to go through all sorts of contortions, then please move on. I never complain about things here. This game DID NOT INCLUDE AN UNINSTALL feature.

Don't like it. Not at all. DON'T like to have to delete all the folders manually from the registry.

This seems to be a Puzzle Pirates ( http://www.puzzlepirates.com/ ) ripoff.

It seems (by the screenshots) to be identical to the carpentry puzzle.

Note that the Puzzle Pirates carpentry game is free.

As someone said, this is as close to the "repairing" minigame in Puzzle Pirates as you can get. This said, as a game offered for free, this is a nice diversion. Personally, though, the constant movement of the ship made me a bit seasick after a while (and was responsible of some misplacements).

Downloaed the game fine. When it asked for registration key...I entered it and it will not accept. Help needed with this part. I am not the only one having this problem. We need an answer.

I think his game is quite expensive, but getting it for free is worthwhile

Game is nice, but very very short, I finished the medium level in about an hour without problems.

hey, if you can't activate, notice that there is one extra letter on the next row, include that, and it will work! silly long activation number! gees!

I like this game, I just can't save it from where I was. I close it and it starts all over again from the beginning. No "player" mode. Other then that I like it. Sure keeps you moving. LOL!

Download and install without a hassle. I just like to share some 'customer' review after download and play the game. Though the graphics are not that 'attractive' however the game is quite fun for family entertainment. There is just one 'flaw' about this cute little game, it didn't seems to 'allow' us to save the levels after playing for a while. So if is true, the game inventor should take note as it is quite a pity if once we leave the game,we have to restart a new game and play it 'all over' again. :( So I will rate this game 5/10 (If not I will rate this game 7/10)

Had the same problem as some with the activation not going through, tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times and everything before realizing that the last letter was on the line below the code, so when you copy and paste like I did the first few times it was missing that one letter. Go back and double check underneath, hope this helps! Fun game:)

Version 1.0

You play through 3 historical time periods of 7 levels each--Ancient, Industrial and Modern. Must complete each one before moving on to next one, but you can start next time at higher periods once completed. Obstacles cause you to need to be "quick" and/or "precise" and/or overcome being "burdened" by heavy loads.

Keep your ship afloat long enough to reach your destination by patching it with Tetris-like blocks. Drag with left mouse button, rotate with right (or "SPACE" key) and drop by releasing left button.

Extras include "Magic blocks" which fill large gaps. Catch fish jumping out of water for bonuses. Patch your ship with four blocks in a very short time and get extra gaps filled--which can be VERY helpful! Also, areas needing patching can be partially obscured by the water and other objects (but still patchable).

Overall, this is a professional game with good graphics, sound and music. It was fun to play, but not captivating for me. Still, I would recommend it to others who like this kind of game, and personally rate it about 9 out of 10 because of the somewhat boring repetitious aspect of it.

It's not a typical tetris. It's a tetris-like game. Give it a try. My opinion: 6/10

8 hours later, activation key still does not work. I'm uninstalling. Aside from that, the graphics are pretty simplistic and it's a boring game. A similar game to this is Magic Inlay, which is much better, with nicer visual effects.

I hope you get the key working for the people who want this game.

The reason the activation code isn't working for some of you is because it's wrapping in the window where you get the code. There is an "X" on the end. Make sure you scroll down and grab the entire activation key. HTH!

Very creative concept, great cartoony art work, easy to use interface, easy pop-ups that tell you how to play right from the get go. Navigate a ship from point a to point b, and patch your ship with tetris like shapes. You can drag and drop the shapes which is very cool. This game would be really great for kids!...or the kid-at-heart. Bottom line: if you like tetris, you'll enjoy this game!

Click on setup at the end make sure launch game is marked. Activation box will show up where gives you name of game which is Giveawayoftheday and will give you key numbers copy those should be another box called key box put in the Giveawayoftheday where it says name then past the key numbers make sure you get the x under th key number have to move the box down alittle to see it when you copy it.After you do this hit ok game is activated you will get a message saying thank you for purchasing the game.

Hi, #11 I had same problem, all I did was to reactivate the program then stop it from installing and close it. A new key should appear. Copy & paste it into box when prompted. This worked for me.

This really isn't a Tetris-style game, so those of you who might run away from it because it's being billed that way, take another look. It's more like Puzzle Express or even Shopmania, where you fit shapes into packages... but even then, it's a bit more unique. It's not difficult to catch on to, love the fish "power-ups" -- however it is easy to tell that English was not the primary language for the game developers and it would have been nice to have someone go through and brush up on the editing. Also, the shapes kept "escaping" the grip of my mouse/cursor. Still, overall, a fun varience!

I played this game for quite awhile before I managed to sink my ship. I love tetris and thoroughly enjoyed this one. I was, however, a little disappointed to see that in order to play the other two ships you have to pay $9.95 to get the full version. Apparently, while the full game may cost $19.95, that's not what we're getting. Nonetheless, it is fun and many thanx.

LAME! VERY LAME for anyone over six years old. There's no need to turn the tetri piece around because, the pieces change shapes quick enough to fill in the ship before it sinks. Very few of those are needed, since the special neon green ones come along quick enough that fills in a larger area.

In regard to #10, #11, #12,#13, #22 and anyone else who cannot activate the program. I had the same problem until I used the registration name that was on the window along with my activation code. I also did the same as everyone else at first I tried to reg in my own name. I hope that his helps everyone with reg problems. Just paste the name and the code from the little pop-up window and do not forget to scroll to the bottom so that you get all of the code when you paste and everything should be OK.

This is a very enjoyable game. I would like an option to disable the music permanently, instead of having to mute it on every voyage. Otherwise, it's a keeper. I like the idea of catching the fish for goodies. Thanks!

Fun game, very addicting but easy tough, gaming experience better on expert or medium, novice is too easy

make sure you get the WHOLE key...it covers 2 lines in the little window. i almost missed the last part of it.
