I agree with #48; the mouse is quite jerky. The 3D features are awesome, though. This game reminds me of Sid Meier's Civilization games. I'd like to see those here. http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/home.htm

I tried it and it seems like a fun game BUT I don't like the delay of my mouse...very slow. Is there some way to make it perform properly and smoothly (the cursor/my mouse in the game)?

Absolutely one of the better games given away in here. Kind of having a lot of farm Tamagotchi's to look after. It is very simple to get to the highest production level of having lots of cows producing milk and get cash like crazy (One cow delivers one milk for 80, so ten milk buys you a new cow. When you get the tractor each cows milk production is doubled)).

So I think the game should not be considered one where its all about getting the most income.. Instead its just a funny little simulation where you could have a lot of different animals on your farm, creating life on your screen. - The screensaver function is a nice one.

I personally like it! Thanks a bunch. For those with questions on how to do things, it does have a manual that is located in the programs on the start menu.

Fun game! But not one I would like to play over and over again. I finished the game (if you could saw getting 20 cows finished) in 3 hours. Got the dog and tractor, no rooster. I think it depends on which farm animal you focus on.

Does it go to another level or is 20 animals all it can take? Didn't have much problem except that when it starts up, it's still loading with the MY FARM screen but it doesn't show a loading bar and I thought it crashed the first time. Took like 5 minutes to see the main menu. (Slow system).

#37, #39, in Windows XP, use Start, All Programs, My Farm, Manual. It also gave you the option to read the rules when you installed it.

What I've figured out so far:
sell eggs by clicking Sell when at the storeKeeper (k is the hotkey to bring up the storekeeper window)

Cock for hens arrives when you have 10 creatures at 100% food. (and a henhouse).

The hotkeys are "blue" when hovering over the appropriate icon:
1=feed
2=produce
3=hay
a=clean Animals (Important if you want to get 100% happy)
f=clean Farm
k=storeKeeper
e=pEnny fair
i=Installations (place bought equipment)
c=move with Carrot
t=move with sTick
s=Storage (Inventory of feed/produce/etc.)

Hens are cheap. They cost 5 coins and produce eggs at 3 coins each per 24 hour period. Hens will tend to stay near a henhouse.
Ducks are 10 coins and have two growths -- 27 coins (after 2 days) and 55 coins after 3 days. To sell, simply go to the pEnny fair and click the left arrow. You won't know effectively what's the sale price until you see the asking price per duck. Ducks need a pond, but the good thing is they will stay near the pond.

This staying near their area is important for segregation as well as trying to find all these darn things. Which brings me to

Turkeys. At 20 coins, the turkeys are the next great thing. You should wait until they get to be 90 coins (about 3 days). Turkeys are nice, but they wander *everywhere*

To get 100% happiness, you should be prepared to feed new purchases -- alot. Feed new animals 100% and then cleAn them until they're 100% happy. Strange of strange, once you've done this, they tend to stay happy, more or less.

One of the quirks I don't understand is that feeding causes the land to be dirty, rather than so much of the animals doing their dooty.

Still waiting to be able to sell wool.
