A first person action horror shooter game set in a beautiful environment.

Mini Golf brings the challenges and thrills of the popular outdoor pastime to your computer. The goal is the same as the real-life version: drop the ball in the hole in the least number of hits. To do this in each of the more than 50 thrilling stages in the game, you'll have to drive the ball over hills, down drops and through traps and other ingenious obstacles. You might get better as you go, though, since 3-D Mini Golf can improve your hand-eye coordination and sharpen your focus!

3-D Mini Golf offers two game modes: Court and Campaign. The object in the first is to complete the current hole within the set number of hits. If you exceed the limit, you'll lose and will be asked to try again. In the second mode, there's no limit to the number of times you can hit the ball, but if you swing your club too many times, you won't make it into the 3-D Mini Golf Hall of Fame. Competition will be fierce, too, as people of all ages will enjoy this realistic and easy-to-play rendition of one of the best casual sports ever invented!

I installed this on XP, but how can I uninstall it??

It's not in my Program list on the Start menu, or in Add/Remove in Control Panel, and it doesn't have "uninstall" in its folder in c:program files. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks.

I tried everything I could think of and all I got was a BLACK screen. The music played fine but I was never able to get to the point where I could see anything. Even the splash screen was black! I even tried to get a copy from Robin's site and had the same problem. I suspect, since so many others had fun with it, that the System Requirement were not met by my system.

Thanks! This golf game is great fun! Most of the other mini golf games have such boring graphics. But the pics in this game are great! it is also a challenge to get par on many of these holes. I'll be playing this for a long time to come! I only wish we were able to use the arrows keys to scan around the course and see it from a different angle.

Looking at the screen shots, one would think that Robin Games Mini Golf would live up to it's billing but in the end it only turns out to be a 'very nearly' fun implementation of the mini golf genre, let down by the inability of the interface to arrange a camera angle to shoot from. Not quite believing what I was seeing I pressed every single key (and key combination) on my keyboard to correct this but wasn't allowed to change the angle. This, is really odd ... The sound effects are also poor considering that mini golf games are more akin to table pinball games than golf itself so perhaps Robingames.com may like to enhance the game by adding more exciting sound effects to the play when chipping or putting through the obstacles? All said, it's not too bad a game to play as it is but will leave you frustrated by the lack of camera angle management an relatively flat in terms of excitement. 5/10

quite a few bugs in this one (i.e. no desktop icon, inverted shadows, club moving under the surface and other stuff). I thought it was OK but my son liked it a lot. Also some of the levels were quite hard to get Par on esp. with the fixed camera angles.

I pray for a better camera. Many shots are unplayable due to it, not to mention the insanity of not being able to see the hole itself. Beyond that, it's a challenging game. Remember guys, z and x change your loft so you can almost drive the putt lol.

Wow, very fun and realistic! One of the best ever offered here.

1 thing could be better: after choosing the angle and power, instead of left-clicking to make the shot, we should actually make the shot by moving the mouse to hit the ball(I hope you understand what I mean).

If that were the case, then we wouldn't have to choose the power, only the angle. The power would be determined by the speed with which we hit the ball.

That's how shots are made in Virtual Pool. I think the same could be applied here.

Anyway, it's a relatively minor point for a great game!

Thanks GOOTD. This game is sweet...a real keeper. The graphics are beautifully rendered. I reallly like the relaxed pace of the game. The only thing is that, just like in real mini-golf, I have a heck of a time trying to get that little ball into the hole. But that's just me. I'm having a real good time with this little gem!

Well I'm back and I did uninstall and reinstall and I still keep getting the error message and the program is getting installed. The gothd activater keeps saying it is activated and I only get the three first holes to work with. For the person that can't understand how hard it is to install one of these things. Well all I can say to you is please have patience with us cause it isn't as simple on our machines and if you read through all these comments you can see that a lot of us are having problems with this one. That is two days in a row this kind of stuff is happening just like the other player was saying. sorry to annoy anyone but these last programs were exactly what I was looking for. I really could have used the recorder. Thanks GGotd. YOu are doing great. We can't win them all now can we. Keith

I think the game is really beautiful, the detail is great and it looks very realistic. I have almost never had any problems with installing any of the GotD programs (except for the AVS programs like the one today).

However ... that problem with the camera angles is a PAIN! When you are golfing (mini or otherwise), you need to be able to aim at the hole and have it in proper perspective. Try playing pool but try to aim the cue ball while you are standing off to one side instead of looking straight down the pool cue and you'll understand what I mean. For the most part I like the program but the difficult makes it a bit trying after 5 or 6 holes.

Other than that, keep the good stuff coming! I have recommended GotD and GGotD to all my friends and have only heard great news from them all.

I downloaded, activated, and installed game twice. Both times attempting to start game caused it to crash. It isn't Robin Games that is the problem as I've successfully used two previous giveaways. My computer meets requirements. Don't know what it is and at this point, don't care. Tomorrow is another day with another game offered.... :-)

This game could be really good if the viewpoint wasn't so bad. You can't tell where you are hitting the ball. Sometimes, you can't even see the hole, so you don't know where to TRY to hit it to.
For being a free game, I give it a 3 out of 10.
For being a minigolf game, I give it a 1 out of 10.

The minigolf game on my iPod is better than this!

This game rocks!! It really makes up for yesterday's game. What a difference a day makes! I've never played mini golf before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but the graphics look pretty good and I'm having a great time trying to make par. Thanks GOTD, I'm so glad I came here today!
Yes, about the desktop icon, delete the one they give you and make one from the icon in the start menu or from the folder in your program files. It's simple enough to do.

Ok I was user "not free" from just above.

After reading the comments here I went back to the opened zip file and reactivated the game then reinstalled it. I got the same free game give away pop up boxes saying the game had been activated, but this time the game has been installed and opens with no time limit.

Very cool, now I can give it a work out.

If anyone else had problems uninstall it and try again

I ran the activation key, just like the text file said. But I had a 60 min time limit. I had no problem with the game from yesterday.

I played the golf game before uninstalling it once the time limit was almost up. I agree with those who were talking about being able to change the angle you are looking at the screen would be a great aspect of teh program to work on, it looked great. Ther really was not enough time to really break down the program and see all aspects for comment.

Yesterdays game i have found a couple of little faults and I am making a list that I will send when I have tried all teh levels and given it a bit of a thrashing.

You really can not say much about a limited time program.

Great game--and thank you 'game seeker' #63 for added info--I was wondering why I wasn't getting any additional holes--I've got one I can't get par on yet!! LOL!!
This 3D kind of gives me a headache with the camera spinning around at times following the ball, but I think I'll get used to it. Price is nice! I really like this, I've played other mini-golf games that didn't have NEAR the graphics this one does and I enjoy it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GGOTD AND MERIDIAN!!!!

The only problem I noticed with this game is if you ask the installer to create a desktop icon, the icon doesn't point to the correct file to open the game. So if trying to open from a desktop icon and it doesn't work, try from the Start menu instead, just click the first listed item labeled "Mini Golf". If you didn't create Start menu items on installing then try Start>Run>then type in MiniGolf.exe and click OK, or create a desktop icon or Start menu item for that file. Anyone who can't run the game at all, or can't run any of the Robin games, likely has a computer with less than the required minimum 1GHz processor or doesn't have a graphics card that supports 3D.

This one's a slow and relaxing game, as expected for mini golf. Very nice and detailed 3D graphics, backgrounds look great too. The relaxing music they chose fits the game quite well, music and sounds volume are adjustable. Options allow full screen or windowed mode, camera angles show better on full screen. Game hints flash on a bar at screen bottom, if preferred that can be shut off in options. It allows several player profiles and remembers what level each has completed. That means a game can be closed and finished later without having to start at the very beginning again, always nice for any game!

It takes a little practice and patience to get accustomed to exactly how chosen angle and power of shots moves the ball. But the current level can also be restarted without going back to the beginning. If the player shoots too hard it's entirely possible for the ball to go flying off the green and into the background, just like in real mini golf. :) But there's no timer limit on levels so take all the time needed choosing angle and power. In each campaign the first three levels are open. After making par on the first of the three open levels more levels are unlocked. Open levels can be played in any order. There are no difficulty settings so par for each green cannot be adjusted for higher or lower player skill. Player is alerted if over par but allowed to continue, the only penalty is you don't open new levels. No timer and no "game over" so again it's quite relaxing, no pressure.

It plays very well once accustomed to the controls. Player-adjustable camera angles would have been nice, strange that's not an option. But their lack doesn't seem to affect play all that much since the viewing angle automatically changes with each shot. Occasionally the viewing angle is a little too far away, most of the time it's fine.
