In Brief:
Memory Game is a Unity based 'Find the Pairs' puzzle game, with various grid sizes ranging from the simplest 3x4 grid to a much harder 7 x 9 grid. The background is a constantly changing day to night cycle with the sun and moon

The Game:
The game starts from a small configuration window where you can change the games resolution and graphic quality as well as toggle full screen to window. Pressing the play button brings up the main menu with a start and exit button. Starting the game then allows you to create up to seven profiles with up to ten letters. There are several avatars to choose from that will show against your name in the top players scoreboard. There is a separate scoreboard for each of the ten levels available with this game. Scores are based on the time it takes to complete the level. The fastest go to the top of the scoreboard. Each of the ten scoreboards records up to ten players. Playing a level over and over sees a random placement of various symbols and letters; giving this game an unlimited number of playthrough's, with no two games likely being the same. The same letter and/or symbol can be used more than once, but will be a different colour.

Conclusion:
Although fairly basic both visually and game play wise, it is an ideal accompaniment to your morning or afternoon coffee /tea break; however, it's not a game I'd play for extended periods, but it is worth a look. It may even be a useful tool for exercising your memory; especially using the larger grids.

Just wanted to post quickly because this is the 1st Itch game I've been able to install. Haven't tried for awhile because the installer used to not work on Windows XP 32. Used to get the "this is not a valid win 32 application" notice from the installer. But not this time. Probably too late to let any one of my fellow XP time warp users to know, but at least I know to try these again and maybe I can get the message to them some other day.

Unfortunately, couldn't play it to comment. My graphics are too antiquated. Neither the onboard graphics or the one ancient card I have has shader support. One of these days, may get a slightly better used card if I decide to keep this one as a linux machine. One of the many, many, many things on the "one of these days" list. LOL. Thanks anyway, GGOTD.

This is a fun little game. Whiterabbit-uk covered it all very well in his review. I like that the picture tiles are different if you replay a level. It's a relaxing memory test/sharpening exercise that functions well and I am finding enjoyable.

Installed but not sure it activated. I didn't get the usual message from GOTD. Was taken to a falco.com which is full of WOT warnings. But no activation notice.

Hi Kalmly, It's an executable from Falcoware, not the usual giveaway wrapped file, so you won't get the usual giveaway notifications. The unpacked exe file is pre registered, so your game will be registered; sorry I took so long to reply; been deep in my new hunting game for several hours.

kalmly, the download has had the bad stuff removed, as opposed to if you downloaded the program direct from Falco Ware. It only installs Extra Shortcuts and these can be deleted easily. So far I've not seen any bad things happen as a result of using the GGOTD website. The games that come from Falcoware are stand alone installers. They are not wrapped in the same fashion that the weekend Saturday and Sunday games are meaning you could store the zip file of the program to install at a later date but can't redownload it if you lose it.

Today's game was released by the publisher on August 14th according to the official developer page. No Steam version exists yet and also the game is being given away for free as well through the developer page. I am not sure what makes this game FREE on GOTD, Or if the copy that is given away directly on the dev page has bundled items people may mark as Spyware.

That being said this is a very relaxing game that tests your memory and has beautiful scenery transitions while you play the game. I did a random test to see if I the same level I picked had the same match patterns and they were different each time. So that is a challenge right there so you can't actually "cheat" in a sense hoping for the same board pattern to get a better time.

The game lacks configurability - particularly different theme sets or unique music although are many Internet Radio stations you can listen to online for free to make up for this.

If you're old enough to remember from the generation I grew up in, there was a gameshow called Classic Concentration in the USA that had a memory match game where a contestant matched the tiles on the board and it had a picture puzzle behind the board. Solve the puzzle and you get a chance to win a car. You can watch episodes of that in the USA on Buzzr for free online and on other streaming devices.

Overall this game is a decent time waster or break time game that will give you a different challenge each time you open up a level.
