Download, installed on Vista and works great! Acutally passed level one unlike the other version recently released, “Untold”. Don’t like that one as much as this one. Thanks GOTD!!!

I’ve missed out on the last 2 so i don’t know exactly how this compares but i enjoyed playing this game and can’t wait to get the other 2 soon *thumbs up*

I really wasn’t impressed at all. It appears to be a ripoff of another game called Uplink, but with worse graphics and music.
If you want a game with a similar style, but is coded much smoother and looks a lot sleeker (with a BUNCH of mods available) just go buy Uplink instead.

To all of those that have been experiencing the activation “bug” as I was, I have found a resolution. I’m seriously thinking this is a Vista issue.

Right click on the Hacker shortcut and go to properties. Under compatibility, check mark “Run this program in compatibility for” and choose in drop down “Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Then check “Run as administrator”. Close and start the game. When prompted for the activation code, insert it and you should be ready to play.

Thanks GGOTD. Downloaded and installed with no problems. Shame I haven’t got time to play it properly right now, because this looks like the sort of retro text-based game I love!

I couldn’t stay away from this game. I finally had to “cheat” and read the tutorial within the tutorial to figure this out. TYPE “tutorial” at the prompt anytime in game. This is one killer game!

ABOUT REGISTERING GAME FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT KNOW HOW: After you unzip the game file open the Readme.txt, the ACTIVATION KEY is right there, just copy with mouse and then paste it when prompted to do so.
