Very nice game, A little different approach to plot line, Not overly difficult (at least in casual mode), but plot keeps it interesting. Rather dark in some scenes, making it hard to see the morphing objects, which in some cases don't morph, so it"s hard to locate them. Nicely rendered screens, pleasant to look at - not movie quality, but hey, it's a game. You can skip the cut scenes if you want , but unless you are a speedster, relax and enjoy the back story. Be prepared to hold onto objects for a long time. You will find a task waiting for you to enter a code, and won't find the code till much later in the game. The game is less linear than others where you complete a full scene before you move on. In other words, you are bouncing all over the map. That Said, The map is VERY useful to avoid going to areas that won't progress the game. $20 might be a little stiff, but Big Fish has a sale today for $14. As Bev said, game runs smoothly and there is quick positive response to clicking on objects. My thanks also to GGOTD, MyPlayCity and Alawar for this enjoyable game.

Thanks to you and the sponsors for this very nice game. Downloaded and installed without any problems on Win7 Pro 32bit. The only comment I would make is that it is rather dark so for the HO sometimes the items are hard to see. Otherwise, it is a really enjoyable game.

I downloaded on Windows 7 laptop. Very professional game. It had great cinematics, great storyline. Clues were nice. The only thing I would change is to find a way to note the codes somewhere. It wasn't easy to remember all the symbols and numbers.
The game was epic, and it has a Stargate from my favorite TV show.
The map was very helpful. I thought there were too many keys to find, but the enjoyed the diversity of the challenges and mini-games.

The game took a long time to download and opened fairly easy. Game play is smooth.
The story is similar to others, but the graphics are very good! You can do some things
ahead and even use an item more than once, but it still is the basic of doing one thing at a time.
I found It a little slow going like when opening the chest and having to click items one at a time,
then you could open the can or pick out the item. It is a good game in that genre and will look
forward to finishing it! and seeing what the bonus level is! Have a good week, Lee

i was enjoying this game until I got to the crypt. The grid is preventing me from getting the stained glass angel and will not move. Glitch?? I looked at Alawar's site and apparently, I'm not the only person that's had this issue. If someone knows the work-around, I'd love to know what it is.

I really wanted this game but once again I can't get it to download to either PC. I get the message that the file is corrupted. On this PC I had stopped my Kaspersky which is a new software. I'm done and not happy about it either. I'm feeling really stupid because I used to have no problems downloading the games from GOTD. Thanks for the opportunity.

This is an excellent HOG/Adventure game with 2 modes (casual or expert) and 7 chapters plus bonus play. So I'm going to enjoy it for many hours. I like having the notebook's useful details and the map that enables you to jump from one location to another, showing places of interest and places where objects can be found. That way I don't have to find where I need to go next only by trial and error. This game is a keeper for me, and I thank GGOTD and MyPlayCity for offering another good one today! Downloaded and installed without problem on my Win7/64 system.

There's a choice between casual and expert modes, and a useful tutorial you can turn on and off. If you've had problems with screen resolution in games in the past, you'll be happy to know that there is a built-in adjustment available. Graphics and animations are quite good. I even like watching the intro and transition scenes.

I know it's supposed to be a dark and spooky atmosphere, but it's darker than I like in some places, especially for hidden object searches where things can be hard to see. Background sounds are appropriately spooky, and not intrusive. (I did have to adjust the sound levels, but I usually turn off background music, and I like it here.)

It's a pretty straight forward HOG so far (I've played about 45 minutes) but the good graphics, interesting storyline, and solid gameplay make it quite playable and engaging. The strategy guide, map, hint button, and casual mode make it less work for those of us who like a relaxing gaming experience, and if you want to be challenged, you can simply decline to use any or all of the helpers.

So, it's a keeper for me. Thanks to GGOTD and MPC.

Really nice HOG, story, puzzles combo w/ 2 types of play- casual & pro. Used casual in optional tutorial for faster hints. Fine graphics & atmosphere. Play as a fem but she's drawn manish fo for a guy no biggie. Engaging right away. Keeper Win 10.

Yay, finally another HOG/adventure game, and one that's new to me (or at least I don't remember it, which is one advantage of getting older :)). D/L'd and installed fine and is playing very nicely. A tad over-dark, but good graphics, pleasant narration, non-intrusive music. So far, just finding objects and using them to progress, but I'm assuming there are HOG scenes coming up and hopefully some puzzles as well, which to me adds to the experience greatly. I like that there is a strategy guide, though I haven't used it yet and I see from the other review that there is a map, which I agree makes for much more enjoyable play. Thanks, GGOTD and MPC; keep 'em coming!

A very nice HOG, the logic of the next step is very much like mine. The map is helpful, it means that you don't have to go from one scene to the other to find a HOG scene or the next thing to do. The graphics are beautiful with nice details.
